Warning! Simple maintenance was almost catastrophic! When I showed them their error the manager proceeded to berate me because I am a WOMAN! Just take your vehicle to the dealer at least they stand behind their work. Customer service needs a lot of improvement here! Don’t Do it!
I get a lot of work done here, often same day or next day. They're fast and very reasonably priced. It's a small business but I haven't had any problems with their results!
I thought this was a good repair shop. We were first introduced to them by a friend to get our inspection completed as we were new to MD. My car is older but it has driven across states for years. Just keeping up regular maintenance and all all of a sudden, when it got to Maryland everything was wrong with it. So we paid almost $3000 for 1st repairs only to come back. Months later and give talmost three thousand dollars only to come back a couple weeks later for almost a thousand dollars yesterday. Please be reminded that every time we're askong them to Please look over the whole car. Let us know whatever needs to be fixed. We just wanted the car repaired and running like it always does. But somehow they fix the left side and not the right. Save it for 6 months later. And every time they gotta go in the same way, chargingt he same kind of labor fees instead of doing it all at once. This is not a good shop. If you take your car there you will return repeatedly.It will always be something just slightly different wrong.You will never be free of them. When we told them that we did not want them to do the last service.We came to pick up the car and it was left with the hood up across the parking lot.Not next to the shop.I guess our car was just free for whoever wanted to take parts from at that point. Customer service is lacking big time. And it's going to always be your car and not them. If you know your car You will know that something is not right. They will keep.
Making things wrong and you will be able to drive it just long enough to bring it back to them.As the "trusted" mechanic. The prices are outrageous and they prep the work to keep you coming back simple as that. Do not go here. Just.read their responses to dissatisfied customers and it will tell you exactly who they are. Supposedly all of their dissatisfied customers are fake customers.My over six thousand dollars wasn't fake. And my car is nice.People want to buy it all the time, so don't believe any kind of b.S that they could say. People at their shop offered to buy it.

Awesome customer service! They got me in and out, and my vehicle runs smoothly. I know a lot of mechanics get a bad rep for trying to get over on people, but I didn't feel that at all here. Prices were reasonable, and everything was explained thoroughly.
Edit: Based on the owner's response to other complaints, it is clear that they prefer to be a bit on the petty side and are a bit aggressive when it comes to criticism or customer concerns. Any questioning of their services isn't taken seriously, and responses (when there is one) are immature. "Get some help"? Get some consent forms for drop offs and an actual customer service representative who can at least pretend to be nice.
2 stars. As far as inspections go, they do a good job. Quick and simple to schedule and have performed, and if failed inspection, they offer half off on reinspection provided it's done within 30 days and under 1,000 miles.
However, if you need a chip repair service performed, and they offer to have "a guy" come to the shop and do it (since the shop themselves don't offer that), do NOT agree to it. I was initially quoted 50.00 for the reinspection fee and 70.00 for the chip repair. When I called to schedule those services, I was told the estimated cost would be 170.00. When I asked why the upcharge, they informed me it's because they have "a guy" who comes out to do the chip repairs on-site. As irritating as a hidden fee is, I was fine with it for the convenience of not needing to schedule multiple appointments just for a chip repair and reinspection.
I dropped my vehicle off at 9am. After not hearing anything for several hours, I called and asked about the status of the car. The representative I spoke with informed me the chip guy never showed up, and that my car was being driven to the chip guy's location "somewhere in Glen Burnie" for the service to be performed. They did not call to ask for consent to remove my vehicle from the premises of the shop, and they did not get a signature at time of drop off for consent to perform services/to drive my vehicle to a different city on my gas. They then said they could have the car brought back for me to have the chip repair done elsewhere, but why would I want my car to have driven there, then back, then somewhere else and back again? They already had the car at the chip repair place, wherever that is.
When I brought this up at time of pick up, the supervisor said that they were "doing me a favor" by "running the car" to the chip guy and that they "didn't have any other options." I told him the other option was to call me before using my vehicle in an unauthorized manner.
Thankfully, the person driving my car did not get into an accident. Had they, who knows when I would have found out? Who knows if they would have been honest with me about the incident had any occurred? If whoever drove the vehicle decided to not return it? I had no knowledge my car was being taken elsewhere, and the potential legal ramifications of that are something this shop should take into consideration when working with other peoples' property.
The supervisor was oh so generous to offer a 10% discount off parts and labor after trying to talk over me and saying that he had "already listened to [me]" when we spoke over the phone.
Additionally, they refused to tell me who actually performed the chip repair and what shop performed it - based on the end result product, probably could have gotten a better chip repair at another facility of MY own discretion.
Overall, if you need inspections and someone to provide a pass/fail, I think they're decent. If you need repairs, or chip repairs, please consider elsewhere as their repair prices are also quite high compared to other shops in the area(quoted 1,900 pre-tax compared to 1,400-1,600 including tax elsewhere), and clearly they don't consider essentially stealing someone's car without notifying the owner for several hours to a different city as an issue.
Always a pleasure bringing my car to be serviced at this Exxon Service center. They are honest with reasonable fees and always quick! Don’t hesitate to bring your vehicle here for any service needs.
I got a flat tire near by at 5:30 AM leaving work and came to the auto shop as it is listed as a 24 hour location, but only the gas station is. I know that there are a few 24 hour tire shops in the area, especially DC, so I thought I would try. The attendant said that they could not repair my tire because it is Saturday and they have to order them, which is understandable, they are an auto shop not a tire shop. I located another tire shop 2 miles away that opened at 8 am and asked if I could leave my vehicle parked on the side where the auto shop is until the tire shop opened to go get my tire and the attendant stated I needed to move my vehicle and cannot park there . I am a single female in a broken down car as the sun was rising. I had to drive my car over 2 miles to the tire shop in unsafe conditions because I wouldn’t have been able to wait for a tow at his location. I also want to note the entire strip near there does not have an emergency lane because of Ft. Meade. I told the attendant I hope that he does not have daughters and that their cars never break down and left when really I had a lot more choice words but choose to respect my elders. Thankfully my rage got me to the tire shop. Don’t spend your money with these bozos

Today was my 1st experience with Exxon Service Inc. I arrived at 5 pm on a very flat tire. Wilfredo & his team had me out the door within the hour. They repaired my tire with a plug instead of trying to sell me a new tire speaks volumes of their honesty. I will definitely be a repeat customer and will tell my friends too.
I have had auto services completed here twice, and the service is top notch. They are incredibly professional and polite. Ask for Wilfredo Riverra and I promise you will have a “first-class” experience.
Excellent and quick service! I went to a few different places to get a state inspection and they all had a 1-3 day wait. Exxon Auto Service took my vehicle on the spot and it was ready within a couple of hours. I will be returning next year!!
Costumer service is consistent with pulling your own teeth. Two days before the inspection the staff didn’t even want to give me an appointment. After booking I showed up two days later on time. Again it seemed like they didn’t want my business. I was informed that it would take one and a half hours. After two hours I returned to my vehicle on the lift with the tires off and the technician smoking a cigarette. I was instructed with an attitude to have a seat they are almost done. 40 minutes later after watching the technician waste my time, I was informed that my vehicle failed. I would not recommend this
Edit: Even though they took forever to fix the issue that I was having with my vehicle, they got the job done and it was great!

I own a 2018 BMW 430i. The car was leaking oil so I took it to a BMW dealer. They said I needed to replace a part. They quoted me $2200 to replace and repair. I live close to the Exxon at 7898 Ridge Rd., so I went over there and got an estimate. They quoted me $1200 for part and repair. I decided to use the Exxon station. They repaired the problem and used the existing parts. They said I didn't need to replace the part BMW identified as needing replacement. The cost was about $350. This was last October. The car has been running great and has not leaked any oil since I got it back from the Exxon Auto Service. And just this week they replaced rear brakes and rotors for me on the same car. I have to thank the manager Wilfredo. They are very honest, reasonably priced and do a great job.
It is an ok shop... just too pricey for me... plus they mess up on my car and I had to wait another 30 to 40 mins to fix the issue only to have to redo it again in another 7 months .. so I just buy my gas here and roll on somewhere Elsie for my automotive work
Mike and the team here in the Service department are great. I had a Maryland State Inspection completed here, and they were able to fix a few deficiencies on the spot. I needed tires, so they ordered them for me that day as well. On top of that, they offer a military discount. Will definitely come back for any other service requirements.
They were kind, fast, thorough and most of all...Very Affordable. I already shared my experience with some coworkers and one of them is taking his vehicle there very soon. Thanks to the Mechanics Team at Exxon!
