Been getting my state inspections here for years. Maryland inspection is very specific. They check everything. The State police run the inspection program. Any wiff of impropriety and they can lose their license to do inspections. They do a good job with it. You know exactly what needs to be done if anything. I imagine it can be a thankless job informing people their cars are not safe and need repairs.

If you are looking for a honest and very knowledgeable group of mechanics with an incredible Owner who believes in providing an honest and fair price for automotive services then this is the shop you should be taking your vehicle to. We have needed them for general auto services as well as emergency services and I can’t believe how amazing the owner and staff have responded to our needs. They have consistently provided great service with honest evaluations of repairs needed and ALWAYS provide fair pricing on parts and labor. This is the only shop we’ve found in the last 5 years that consistently delivers outstanding service and I wouldn’t take our car anywhere else. If you need auto services, this is the shop you need to take your car to!

Rijen has been servicing my Interlock system for a year. I've heard horror stories from people who are using different service centers but Rijen has been the best. Compassionate and efficient. I'm so glad I chose them. Special appreciation to Rina who helped me navigate this experience!

Do not bring your car here for an inspection.
They will lie about issues just to sell you on repairs.
They even tried to say my windshield wipers needed to be replaced, when I purchased them 2 weeks prior to the inspection.
Just avoid this business at all cost. They’re a scam.
As you can see, I give almost every business 5 stars! But, I took a super clean car that's been garage kept & maintained for its whole life here for MD state inspection (thinking I'd buy it) & they fabricated or exaggerated almost $3,000 worth of items that just didn't need to be repaired. (I tried them B4 abt a year ago & they did the same thing; but, I like to give people a 2nd chance...now they've had that chance. Last year I fixed all the things on their list, & when I brought it back, magically, there were NEW items to fix.)
Charging 2½ hours labor for R&R strut assembly? And, 1½ hours for parking break adjustment? That wouldn't even make sense even IF these problems actually existed.
Very sad that they feel that this is an acceptable way to treat people. ☹️
This place offers excellent quick affordable service. I would definitely recommend them for all you maintenance needs. My break change was completed in 30 min for all four tires.

This is the best auto shop in the town! When we traveled all over US with the family, we serviced our truck in the shop. Bikas( owner) suggested few parts to change and what ever needed to fix Md and tuned at the moment was done as per his judgement and trust me, we didn’t get a single incident while we travelled 25000 miles for a month and a half!! We are thankful and recommend their service to everyone.

I’ve been there more times than I can count and every visit was a wonderful experience. The staff are super friendly, they thoroughly inspect my car, fix any and all the issues with my car, and take time to clearly explain what the problem was . The pricing is fair and trans parent. I recently brought my car in for a Maryland safety inspection, and I must say, they did an excellent job. Unlike other places I've been to, they didn't try to upsell unnecessary repairs. After picking up the car, I scheduled a drop-off for the needed repairs a week later. They had the necessary parts in stock and completed the repairs promptly. I was very impressed with their service and would highly recommend them. The night drop-off option was particularly convenient—I stopped by after work hours the day before my appointment, and I was confident they would begin work promptly the next day and have it completed by the end of the day. I will definitely be returning to them for any future repairs.
