I keep coming back to NTB because of their old-style customer service. They did not try to upsell me and addressed my needs with the polite personal and professional service. Mike and his team are winners. And the chairs in the waiting room were comfortable.

Wouldn't recommend, especially for hybrid drivers. Called before going in, stating I had a hybrid that I believed had a dead 12 volt battery and if I needed an appointment for a battery change. They said come on in now, so they can take a look. Let them know once there that the car had to be jumped twice within the last 48 hours and was aligned with 12 volt failures - certain accessories failing, key fob error messages. Bring car in and after testing said battery, which they said was at 58% charge but was fine otherwise (which in this weather really should be higher than that AND oh, it was the original battery from 2019 so another indication of failure), they said they thought it was a hybrid traction battery issue. For those still reading, if your hybrid has a traction battery issue, there would be multiple failure codes happening. Your traction battery wouldn't charge and would noticeably rip through to the engine. It also would still start. Thats not a sign of a traction battery failure. This is a 2019 hybrid with less than 60k miles. Once the car was jumped, there were no other engine issues. It would be incredibly rare for a traction battery to fail at this age and mileage. Like below 1%. The tech there stated that because they believed it was a traction battery failure, they wouldn't touch my 12 volt battery, and I stg this was the quoted reason "What if we replace the 12 volt and it was the traction battery all along? Then you could come here and complain". Yeah....WHAT IF. Are you kidding me?! I insisted as a customer that I would pay for the 12 volt replacement regardless. They declined. Was able to start the car without a jump and head to the nearest auto parts store (which I should have done in the first place) and replaced it ourselves. And hey - haven't had issues since again signaling it was the 12 volt all along and either the techs didn't want to work or didn't want to touch a hybrid. Either way, in the year 2025, both are unacceptable. Whoever owns this company should know you missed out on an easy 150-200 dollar profit due to either poor processes or techs who don't want to work.

I walked into the store at 5:54pm with a flat tire and the GM Mike, the staff and the technician provided me exemplary service . They changed my flat tire and didn’t leave me stranded! I appreciate them so much! I couldn’t have asked for better service! I will definitely be back for more vehicle services.

This is a wonderful facility! My tire pressures were too low, and a wonderfully kind gentleman named William took good care of me. I would recommend NTB Towson to anyone!

Please check BBB before using this location. If I could give zero stars I would. Charley is the only decent employee in this store. This location should be shut down as a whole. They are a tire shop and try to be mechanics, They are not good at either. They did more damage to my car than fixing it. I had to bring him back six times within a month and they charged me almost every time for their own mistakes. They wasted so much of my time and now I have to go to another shop and pay more to fix their mistakes. They did not properly install a stem value onto two of my tires. When I took my car back to have them fix it they only corrected one and I had to take it back again. In the process of putting on a new tire, they did not balance it and my tyrod got damaged. They charge me for that as well. When installing a control arm, they damaged the ball joint in my car, which is now going to cost me more money. Please no one make this mistake of going to this location. I will definitely be filing a complaint with BBB. This place needs to be shut down immediately.

If you can, please avoid this location. I made an appointment for 8am, which was confirmed online, for an oil change and wheel alignment. When I reached, I was received with attitude because I wasn't able to answer the phone to confirm (even though I confirmed online). They said it'll take 90 minutes for the whole process, they didn't even bring my car back until 9am. 2 hours in, they had just finished my oil change and I can see the workers just taking their time, idling around. When I inquiry about the status, I received more attitude and I ended up cancelling the alignment. An experience for a service you are paying for shouldn't feel like you are asking for too much, or to feel guilty about, which is exactly what this location makes you feel.

The store manager Mike is such a gentleman and a gentle giant. I got 4 tires for my husband truck as a gift and asked Mike to take care of it without letting him know the cost and he did just that. Not only was my husband pleased with the service, now he wants to make this store his stop for future needs.

I purchased four new tires for my Tahoe last month, the techs didn't put my wheel locks back in my truck where they got them from, broke two of my center caps on my rims, which I was told would both be replaced at no charge to me, but again, it has been a month. I also had to get more air in my new tires when I returned to the establishment the next day to get my wheels locks that they didn't put back. Total negligence. Terrible experience. I definitely won't be back. As a 20+ year customer of NTB, this was really sad, sickening, and disheartening for me. I have no faith left in doing business with this company any further. The caliber of customer service and quality of work is deplorable.

Outstanding service from this location. They took care of my car. I gotten my struts and brakes done for under 2k. There was no pressure and the pricing is fair.

Service here and location is great! All staff really take care of you and your car. Prices are reasonable and they always give great service !! Always explain what’s wrong with your car in great detail and answer all your questions.

Good service. I would recommend them. Very knowledgeable staff. Excellent work from Will and Mike. Jake took care of my car and only recommended services that was actually need.

Had my battery die on me and had to get it fixed ASAP, since I’m on the road everyday with work. I brought my car into NTB where they fit me in same day and at the excatly the time that I would arrive from my destination since I had to jump it to get there. They tested both the battery and the alternator, showing me the results of both tests. Luckily, it was just the battery, and I was able to get it replaced right there. The total cost after taxes was $280, and they got me in and out within 2 hours. Hopefully I don’t l ever have to go back, but if I ever have similar issues or know anyone who does, I would absolutely recommend this place.

I spoke to the service manager. Although my situation was unique and awkward and possibly viewed by others as annoying. However he showed compassion and most importantly did everything he could to get me resolution. He dealt with my pain like a gentleman and made me feel like I had a friend.

I can only speak to their alignment work. While they did align my wheels, they did not lock the steering wheel at zero prior so now it’s no longer center when driving straight. I immediately returned to have it corrected and they said there must be something wrong with my steering column. Unprofessional to say the least. I’ll have to take it to another location and see if they’ll correct it.

These people have been the most kind to me. Any problem that I’ve had with this car Kwasi, Kevin, Joel, and Will were quick to find me an easy and affordable solution. These staff members were so professional and friendly so I’ll definitely be coming back, you can rely on them.

I had such a great experience at this tire shop! Kevin, Will, and Kwasi went above and beyond to help me. They were professional, friendly, and made sure I understood everything they were doing. The service was quick, honest, and done with real care. It’s rare to find a team that treats you like family, but that’s exactly how they made me feel. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending them to everyone I know. Huge thanks to Kevin, Will, and Kwasi for making what could have been a stressful situation so smooth!

Sooo, first let me say that the customer service here is TOP NOTCH! Things were explained thoroughly, the staff was caring and customer-oriented. Jake worked quickly with intention and courtesy. We will definitely return for all our tire needs!

I came in for a flat tire repair at the Towson location. They did a comprehensive check on my car and gave me suggestions to have a few things have addressed. This was really helpful. There was no upsell pressure to have the repairs done. Kevin meticulously look over my tire and found the leak on the valve stem which he replaced. I would certainly return to this location for the friendly and comprehensive service.

I came in for 2 tires plus install, and the process itself was fairly quick I was there about an hour and a half. The actual work was done well: they put my tires on, balanced them, and even placed my donut back where it belonged. However, the customer service was disappointing. The gentleman assisting people was rude and acted like he didn’t want to work that day. I explained that I was paying with my Mavis card but didn’t have the physical card, and that customer service told me I could provide the reference number. Instead of helping, he acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about and seemed aggravated the entire time. If you know you have to deal with people daily and you’re not a people person, maybe this isn’t the job for you. Overall, I’d rate my experience a 5/10 the 5 is only because of the quality of the tire installation. My mother recommended this location since she’s come here before, but after this visit, I won’t be returning. Thank you to the men who serviced my car I truly appreciate their work but I’m big on customer service, and this fell short.

I'd choose a different NTB location then 704 York Road location if u have to use NTB. Had an appointment set up after they offer me a decent price and when I showed up one car in bay only other car in lot was a worker's car (car never moved). I drop my car off for two tires. I am told about an hour. I get back 1 1/2 hours later and my car wasn't touched. They took care of a walk in who came in after me. I told them to pull my car out and left. Very poor customer experience. Poor training poor communication poor service. Avoid 704 York Road location. Hopefully another location might do better

PLEASE READ!!! I never write reviews but I just feel like I have to because I'm so frustrated. I have spent almost 1.8k on tires this past year for my mid sized sedan on under a year. I went here about seven months ago to get all new tires, an alignment, and an oil change. It was something like 1.3k. I thought everything was fine, aside from the fact that they didn't turn off my oil change light haha, but was happy. Then, now, my tire pressure on the left front side was low. It was at 20 psi and not 32psi like it should have been. I made an appointment for another tire shop for the next morning. When I was getting in my car to go to the shop to get a patch on what I thought was just a nail or a small hole, the psi was 15. I filled it up and went to the shop. They told me that the wrong tires were put on. They were too big and were destroying my rims and could blow out any second. This explains why I'd hydroplane when it rained. The hole was from around the rim and it was dangerously close to blowing, same with the front right side tire. I have to replace all of the tires I just got for 677 dollars. I am absolutely so so upset. They put tires on that were 3/4 in too big and were wearing unevenly and about to blow out. NEVER go here, but if you do, get a warranty on your tires and make sure you double check that they are the right size. Edit: originally, when I first got my tires, it had also taken them 3-4 days to get my car back, which seems like a super long time, which sucked big time. Take your car someplace else

Got off work at 6pm and needed a tire before I got stranded on the road. Everywhere I looked at online was closed. They were open! Quick service. Got me on my way quickly. They are open later than the posted hours, glad they were open!

Thank you so much to the staff at NTB (York Road, Towson)! Unfortunately, I forgot to grab the names of the two gentlemen that helped me but both with very polite, welcoming, and focused on meeting the needs of the customer. When I arrived, I was able to pull in and get serviced almost immediately which was great. I initially thought I would have to get a new tire which I was dreading but they were able to patch it up perfectly & send me on my way. I’ll have to go back to grab the two employee's names that helped me to properly shout them out because they really saved the day. Definitely recommend!

They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I felt confident in the process. The new crew they have here since Mavis took over is on the ball! Despite their POS system showing that the tire I needed was discontinued, William helped me get a replacement Continental DWS06+ fitted on my Tesla to replace the one I had with side wall damage, quickly. Very pleasant experience. Thank you gentlemen!!

Nation Tire & Battery (NTB) is a chain of auto service stores that is convenient and reasonably priced. The location 704 York rd, Towson MD. might be an exception but when I have needed service NTB is a good option. Each time the outcomes have been stellar. The team of Sharif, Bak, and William were helpful, professional, and responsive. Thank you Gentlemen!

Friendly staff, professional service at a good price. Can’t ask for more !! Told me it would be about 45 minutes before they could get me in, and they started working on my car in exactly that amount of time. Had me in and out fast with no appointment. Will be a returning customer and would recommend to everyone.
