Somehow I always find something I like at this place. It's a true hit-or-miss; you never know what it'll be. Sometimes it's super-stocked, other times it seems a lot of sections appear sparse. But it's clean and bright. Clothing always clean. I just wish they'd open up the fitting rooms again.

Very average. Clothing sections are fairly well maintained, everything else is sparse and haphazard. The staff are polite but not overtly kind. I didn’t find anything worth buying and I was broadly looking for bags, bakeware, shoes and women’s clothes.

Online hours for this Store says open at 10am so I drove all the way to this Goodwill and they are closed as the sign on door says 11am now for Sunday!. They NEED to update the hours on this site what a waste of my time!. Companies these days are getting LAZIER AND LAZIER I am so tired of it!. I remember as a Kid in the 1980s and early 90s stores actually opened at reasonable times!. Stop hiring lazy people Goodwill.

Employees are helpful with unloading. However, due to bar up the other end of the shopping center the alley is blocked. Also no donations on Monday and Tuesday.

3 years ago: This store generally has a full stock and lots of deals. They sometimes have quality clothing and always have low clothing prices. Occasionally there is decent furniture. There is a large book selection. However, the store is often very dirty: do not look through the bin of men's ties as it is full of roaches. *** Update: I'm really disappointed in this Goodwill location. People donate items to them for free. They can make a decent profit selling things at low prices, as they used to do. Now, however, they have separate sections for "regular" and "designer" items, and much higher prices for the good stuff. The fun used to be in hunting to find a bargain, clothing with tags still on, a nice purse, etc. Now, everything has different price-points, like a department store, which is ridiculous. The "designer" clothing isn't really designer, anyway, it's just nicer, such as Talbot's, Coldwater Creek, Ann Taylor, etc, or a used Vera Bradley purse. I used to find Vera Bradley bags there sometimes for $5-15... now they're marked up to $20-50, worse than eBay. I get angry when I see that they've gotten in a shipment from a store closing, such as a craft store, and the store pricetags are still on the items, reading 50 cents, $1, $2. Then the Goodwill pricetags is added, reading $3-7 !!! That's really crappy, and greedy. Additionally, there is still a large book selection, which I love. But when the sign says " All Children's books $1.00," and I take my selections (hardbound and paperback) to the cashier, and they tell me, "The hardbound children's books are $2.00," that's just wrong. They have a *posted sign*. If I'm buying 20 kids' books for my job, I'm not going to pay double for the hardbound ones - they're all used!! - when there's a posted sign for prices. Goodwill is a THRIFT SHOP. They receive donated items to sell; they are not subject to inflation. Their prices should not be massively increasing. It's very annoying, the store is still dirty, and I rarely go there anymore. They also have far less decent wood furniture now, mostly broken plastic crap, or pressed wood. Disappointing. There are quite a few rude, argumentative, foul-mouthed employees working there now, too. They ended their once-a-month Saturday half-price sales a few years ago, and haven't brought those back. It's all gone downhill. What a shame.

Good store, great finds, kind associates, plenty of parking and the pricing is fair.

Poor experience trying to donate quality kids clothes. Pulled up at 9am to find an employee sitting in a chair with the rear donation door wide open. It appeared that he was open to accepting donations, although a sign did read 10am. I offered my 3 bags of clothing and he refused them, stating I was on camera and he couldn’t accept anything until 10am. I said I didn’t need any receipts and just wanted to leave the clothing for them. He restated the same line, and said I could put them in a dumpster instead. While I know I was early, I don’t understand why he was attending the door to begin with at that time, or why he didnt accept the clothes early anyway. Seems ridiculous to me. I’ll look elsehwere when I donate in the future.

We were saying how much we liked this particular goodwill, until we got to the line and had to wait while it apparently takes two people to handle one customer and ignore the rest. I only had one item, and we needed to get on the road, so I put it down and walked out. As we were leaving finally another associate came from the back and did absolutely nothing, but managed to say something smart and walk my item back to the shelf. My husband heard something from the cashier along the lines of, “this is the north,” like geography matters that she is too slow and and inept at her job? Bc we aren’t from Baltimore but live in MoCo, have a southern accent, we don’t deserve customer service? Why did us leaving and saying nothing to her warrant a smart retort? The man behind us said they were talking smack, but I took the high road and left bc see, my mom IS from Baltimore. She a Marine though, taught me respect and courtesy. Seems like you werent. Your chip on your shoulder is unnecessary. Get over yourself and do your job. I was there 12:18 on November 14th.

You would think if you are giving valuable free items to Goodwill the people on the dock accepting those donations could be a little friendly. The Goodwill in Perry Hall is the complete opposite they actually make you feel like you are bothering them. I have given under armor shirts and expensive items to Goodwill hoping that someone else can enjoy them but there are other places I can take my items that are a lot more friendlier. I won't be returning to the Perry Hall Goodwill.

Staff is friendly. Went in for some jewelry finds! Um, so the associate said "You have to go online and it's a bidding war." Excuse me😲 I find it odd that the jewelry is AUCTIONED online. Imagine that. GIFTED jewelry pieces are up for auction and only online. What kind of foolishness is that! Absolute greed on the part of the goodwill.

Best Goodwill I’ve been to! Clothing options for men were not the best en masse but there were some incredible finds to be found. Got a good deal of clothing and also found an early version of RISK the board game. Could’ve spent more money than I did! Nice, friendly staff. 10/10 for those looking to thrift in the greater Baltimore area.

Unsure if this is her name but she rung me up at this register today and the name at the bottom said (Dairra) needs better customer service she is rude and unprofessional. I asked about the The Goodwill card when I first got to the register because I am unsure how to use it she didn’t say anything so I asked her again about the Goodwill card because I thought she didn’t hear me instead of her politely answering me She gave me an attitude and rolled her eyes not once but twice. Attitude like that do not have returning customers. No one has to deal with that when buying something.

I did not have a good experience earlier this week when attempting to donate items at a Goodwill within Baltimore City, and I really wanted to give my new and like new items to a Goodwill in the City. The customer service over the phone, accurate donation drop-off times online and over the phone, and clear directions to the drop-off lead me further out to this location. Their donation drop-off is located in the rear (a sign on the front door also lets you know if you forget). The employees were great with unloading items and the line moved quickly. To get in line to drop-off donations drive behind the building to the rear. The rear is one-way only… so only enter at the opposite end of the shopping center by Looney’s, not Advance Auto. I did observe a person pulling out what looked like a very battered bird house that should go in the trash. Let’s all be mindful to donate items that someone can use. If you need some new ceramic bakeware, I just dropped some off. Hopefully they find a good home! Last, I frequent this Goodwill when I have time and have never had an issue. The employees have always been great and they explained the return policy to me each time. It may not be my favorite return policy, but they do explain it to you prior to purchasing. Happy hunting!

Workers were nice but the store was so dirty when I first walked in I almost walked back out. Multiple aisles stunk because of dirty clothes or shoes. Not a very sanitary store. With how much they charge I think they can afford to sweep once a month and not put up smelly clothes . Also dressing rooms are closed!

Im not sure if I just happened to get lucky but I went last week and bought several jackets here for $7 or $8 each. It’s too bad they don’t let you use the fitting rooms anymore though, I’m sure I would have bought more. One of the nicer goodwills.

It’s been YEARS since I walked into a goodwill because of how they hiked prices for donated items. I was looking for a specific retro glassware and decided to pop in. I thought the prices were ok but the staff omg…..this young girl, first register when you walk in in your left was extremely rude. Pursing lips, huffing, throwing my items around. I try to have grace for people that work with the public but little girl, I was having a really good Sunday morning until I crossed paths with you. You should have a different job. If someone rubs you wrong you don’t have the right to screw up every other customer’s day because of it. Back to not going to goodwills.

I used to love this location and half priced Saturdays. Those are long gone, as are the days of fitting rooms, and decent customer service. It's unfair to expect us to purchase clothing we can't return without trying it on. My solution is to wear leggings. I pick an aisle, and try things on. Inspect for holes/stains/etc and make decisions from there. Was doing my thing when I noticed a store employee lingering in the next aisle. I became uncomfortable as he watched me like a hawk. Im sure he thought he was being inconspicious. Like some kind of terrible spy. A real Ace Ventura. Smh Luckily, I was down to 3 things left to try on by this point. When I finished and started for the front, same employee fumble/ran to the front to beat me to the register. Idk if an employee of the month was up for grabs or what, but I don't appreciate being treated like that over second hand clothing. If you're that worried about theft, hire a loss prevention team, but more importantly. We need our fitting room back. To ya know. Decide if things FIT!! Thanks.

went with my sister to get a stuffed dog, we got 3-4 stuffed animals that were all 3$. the dog happened to have its tag ripped off, we offered 5$ for it and she snatched the dog, started screaming and called the cops. if you go here just know the manager is EXTREMELY RUDE. never going here again.

Horrible, inconsistent “policies” about how things are priced. And will not sell you items that don’t have a price even though they have signs that give flat rate prices for hats, scarves and beanies. Been there multiple times and different managers and employees proclaim completely different “policies” that Goodwill has but are not actual policies. OVERPRICED “boutique” items.

Won’t go there anymore. And I was a frequent customer for years. They have no fitting rooms for customers to try things on. Bought two brand new bras, each with three tags on them. They did not fit and I tried to return them less tha 24 hours after I bought them! Well, the manager dismissed me without even looking me in the eye and said no returns on new goods. They had a whole rack of these bras twenty feet away from me. Ridiculous. Don’t buy anything you cannot try on!!! Terrible customer service. I called another Goodwill and they said with a receipt, they would gladly accept the return. If the manager at this first location would not have been so rude, she would have known that. But she would not listen.

Unfortunately one of the employees, Michelle was very rude and unprofessional at the register. Im only giving a 4 star because Shamiaha (im sorry if spelling wrong) was so kind and helpful😊 thanks to her I left the store with a smile on my face.

My pregnant wife urgently needed to use the restroom. The clerk tells us due to covid (remind you Maryland is no longer under a state of emergency) they have the bathrooms closed to the public. So my wife had no other choice then to humilate herself and urinate in her cloths, since she couldn't hold her bladder. You readers be the judge and decide if that is a humane way to treat a person. I just don't understand how businesses are getting away with treating people this way

Always can find great bargains here. Bought 3 shirts at a very good value. Love the new Goodwill Club program too! Store is always neat and organized. Would recommend them to anyone trying to stretch their budget in these trying times.

Went in to look around. I found a small wooden toilet paper holder. It was on display for purchase. Took to the register to purchase the item. I was told I couldn’t buy because it didn’t have a price on and it would have to go in the back. I asked the cashier if she could or have someone else come up to the front and take it in the back and put a price on it. The woman snatched the item off the counter and toss it in a bin beside the counter and said no she could not do that. It has to go in the back to be priced and no one was back there to price it. The cashier also said well there was a price tag on it. I was also told just come back tomorrow after it’s been price again and I can buy it then. I told the cashier I don’t live around here I’m only in the area now because I was visiting someone and was head home. The cashier replied yeah right. If this is how Good Will allows their employees to treat customers. I’m truly surprised they are still in business.

Huge selection. Everything was very organized and the store was clean. Employees were friendly. There was a long line at 7pm and just one cashier - he was great. Even with the never-ending line and customers annoyed there weren't more cashiers, he had a warm greeting and a smile for every customer, thanked them for coming in, and wished them a pleasant evening. He's the main reason for the 5 stars. Will definitely return!

Customer service has always been great and they have a lot of good items. I got a brand new carpet cleaner in the box with all parts for $40 and it works great. Your not always going to find things like that but every now and then you get lucky.
