The office staff was very attentive and listened to my needs. They performed the work necessary and identified items I asked them to do, but were not needed.
I was very pleased with there work and the cost for the repairs was reasonable.
Foltz automotive is the best place by far to take your vehicle for any problems. I love them they only do what is needed and they dont tell you other stuff needs fixed just for a money grab i will always use them

Folz automotive was great. I had a problem with my brakes on my Highlander and they were able to get me in on the same day. The price was great and the service was fast and professional. I will return to them the next time my car needs repair.
I purchased a new vehicle from out of state and had it inspected. Foltz Automotive, it was very thorough and reasonably priced. I enjoyed dealing with Mark and Andrew.
My son’s car needed a ball joint replaced which meant that I had to replace both and not just the one that needed to be repaired. The dealer quoted me a price and I felt like I needed a 2nd option. Searched Google and selected Foltz Automotive because of their high ratings. The reviews did not disappoint. Mark said I could bring the car in at my earliest convenience (I brought it in about lunch time). By the end of the day, I had a work order texted to me with all the details along with photos and a video. Our car was ready the next day and they saved me $500!! Everyone I came into contact with was friendly and professional. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer (hopefully not too soon).
I had an oil change, I was out within the hour, they also replaced my back turn signal and added air to all my tires. The employees are very nice, they take the time to explain. 5 stars!

I decided to take a chance on Foltz Automotive about 18 months ago because I was tired of constantly having to chase down information about the status of my car from the shop I was using previously. They were honest and fairly priced, but sometimes I couldn't even get anyone on the phone because they were so busy! I'm pleased to report that I've had the opposite experience with the wonderful folks at Foltz every time I've brought my car in for maintenance. They're extremely proactive about communication and really take the time to listen to you when you ask questions or express concerns. I always appreciate the detailed estimates of identified issues, because they're always accurate, and I never feel pressured to have the work done immediately if I need to plan it out with my budget. I won't take my car anywhere but Foltz!

(Dec 7)ANOTHER UPDATE! Went in again for a slight leak they discovered coming from my oil pan. Left the vehicle with them under the permission to change the entire pan. They discovered the issue was fixable and did that for me! Kept everything above board and let me know that it didn’t need replaced and that they fixed it, saving me HUNDREDS of dollars. Will continue to not only go here but encourage all others to trust them with their business. UPDATE!! I went back after saving up some money and had Andrew assist me this time with all my repairs I opted for. They have a very straight forward pricing system with your consent and questions being held at the upmost importance. I got a power steering pump replaced along with my starter. There are other things to get done with my car I just have to save up more money. Will be coming here for ALL future repairs and recommend anyone to come here. Went in with questions and issues, was scheduled to do a diagnostic. Hearing the concerns I had Mark was a genuine human and suggested a specialist because that was the direction of the issues (transmission). Great guy great ethics would come back 10/10 times.
The staff at Foltz Automotive is kind and professional. They offer a clean, inviting waiting area with seating. Communication through text is provided. A detailed estimate is also provided. The first time I went here was for a noise. Another garage charged me $1,800 for a new battery and supposedly fixing the noise. Andrew Foltz found the problem, and I was only charged $91. My next visit to Foltz included an 18 point inspection, oil change, new air filter and cabin filter, new tire sensor, and new serpentine belt. The serpentine belt ended up being defective. Bill at Foltz drove me to work, they replaced the belt, and surprised me by bringing my car back to me. I couldn’t be happier with choosing Foltz Automotive!
I have spent a lot of money here trying to revive my first car. Had this Pontiac since i was 20 years old. I am now 34. Did really know much about the shop except it showed good reviews. A lot of good reviews.
The customer service is great but the parts are cheap quality and double the price (insuring that you come back) I guess thats how you stay in business in the car repair industry.
I brought my car in to get a small overhaul. $4000 cash to be exact. Thats how much the first bill was. I went back for more work than the problems started.
Faulty radiator cap. Like so cheap it broke off in the engine. I went to auto-zone got a $13 one that was solved. Then my water pump went up. Took it back charged me again to replace that. Then my car overheated again. Took it back said the radiator went up paid to get that replaced. It was very frustrating. I asked well why didn't you replace the radiator the first time when the pump went up. I was told because it wasn't a issue at the time. All these repairs were done within months of one another mine you. I have all receipts to prove it.
Car overheated again February of this year. The waterpump again. Its all good tho im the stupid one who continued to go back. Plus a paid the first bill of $4000 in cash so they made sure i came back.
Now im getting a new engine put in my car. Who ever thought i would have a blown head gasket 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. This is my first car my baby took care of her and made a bad decision in the long run.
On the brightside Foltz you taught me alot about this car business. Every smile isnt genuine. Every carshop doesnt do whats right for the customer it's about money.

Recently performed minor repairs on my used car and then completed the MD State Inspection. Took care of everything quickly. Excellent customer service. Reasonable price.
I was very impressed with the overall experience I had visiting Folts for the first time. We brought in my wife's CRV which needed a full set of brakes and rotors. In and out the same day with text message alerts which included quotes and itemized breakdowns so it was very easy to confirm exactly what was being done to the vehicle. What I really liked about the text quote and alerts was that they included photos showing the owner first hand what the brakes and rotors looked like. They also made a number of other suggestions which I had the ability to either select or deselect. The employees were very friendly and professional.
Extremely professional and used technology effectively. However, the good review ends there. The estimate to perform all recommended repairs seemed shady and over priced due to the fact they were just serviced. The AC was just serviced and tires were rotated after a recent oil change the week prior. My daughter struck a curb and her control arm was damaged. Foltz recommended a full repair of multiple parts to the tune of $1100. I said thank you and I paid for the diagnostic fee of $89 and was asked sarcastically if I was not getting the work done! I said I don’t make decisions based off one estimate (that’s a sucker move). I took it to another shop. The other mechanic tightened the control arm and replaced the bolts and asked me to drive it. It drove like new. The total cost was $75, that was less than the diagnostic fee. I’d get a second opinion from another mechanic before overpaying for unnecessary work at this shop.
This was my first visit to Foltz. I brought my vehicle in for routine maintenance and to have a problem fixed. Everyone was friendly, communication was great, as was the pricing (below a previous quote from another place), and all work was completed on time. I definitely will go back.
Brought my vehicle here for a persistent metal clanking noise. I was told I needed my struts replaced and paid $1,200 for this service. I picked my car up and had to immediately bring it back because the noise was still occurring. I was then informed it was my "tire pressure sensors" making the noise and that would cost me another $400 to fix. They did not offer any type of discount or compensation after charging me $1,200 to fix an issue that they clearly did not fix the first time. Overall, I felt very scammed and did not appreciate the way this establishment conducts business.
I’ve always trusted Mr. Foltz for any of the work he’s done for me. And his son Andrew has followed in his dad’s footsteps. Andrew is very trustworthy, honest and does excellent work at a fair price. If anyone’s looking for the simplest or the most complex auto repair You must give Andrew at Foltz auto a chance, you won’t be sorry.
I had the best first experience at Foltz Automotive. Using an after market warranty turned out to be extremely frustrating. Marc at Foltz Automotive was extremely kind and professional and made sure that I was taken care of despite these frustrations. Could not recommend this shop enough!

Amazing experience at Foltz Automotive. Called lots of local spots and from the second they answered the phone I knew that this was the place I wanted to do business with. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable it truly feels like you're apart of the family. As for the actual repair of my vehicle I had a fair estimate in just a few hours after dropping off. Work was completed fast and efficiently and now my vehicle runs better than ever. Found my new repair shop!
