Dirtiest Advance Auto I have ever seen. I don't think the floor has ever been washed. The local prompto oil change is cleaner.

I ordered battery online and I just had to wait a short while until they installed it in 5 minutes. Terrific!

Went in today to exchange a starter and was told limited lifetime warranty only covers one free replacement. Then warranty is void after. That is highway robbery considering the starter costs over 300 dollars. The workers are not at fault, as a matter of fact I would give the workers a 5 star rating but the store warranty is flat out ridiculous. Ripping off the customers is Not the way to get returning ones. It should be warranted for life of vehicle not starter! Time to look for a better store for auto parts!

I had a great experience today at Advance Auto Parts on Upper Main Street in Waterville. I usually never leave reviews but this was great. My Corolla Sport needed a new battery and the employee Tyler I believe (according to my receipt) was fantastic. He was very helpful in selecting the best battery for my needs and was super chill and personable while installing it for me. I highly recommend this business and will go here in the future for my automotive needs. Thank you Tyler!!

Just called waterville store and guy named shane picked up the phone. Immediately i could tell he had a attitude and i proceeded to ask for the parts i needed and before even searching he said "we don't carry specific this and that" and was almost unwillin gto even do a search for me. then he asked me for a part number which i had to find that took me about 5-10 seconds he then stated "the phone are ringing off the hook and a customer just walked in, so if your not going to give me the part #, i'm going to have to hang up" like okay bro. I gave him the part number and SURE ENOUGH you guys had the part that he said you guys didn't carry! Shanes customer service is horrible and should really find a job where he's not so miserable at!

This is a great place to buy necessary auto replacement parts. The staff is very knowledgeable and helped me to avoid unnecessary costs in repairs to my vehicle. They could have easily sold me parts to make sales, but they didn't. Their honesty may have cost them $5, but it has guaranteed them future business. I have the responsibility of maintaining 6 vehicles for myself and family. They have gained my trust and I will shop there for all my vehicles needs. And they are open until 9pm... Huge selling point. I get out of work after 8. I can buy what I need and not have to wait until a day off which isn't always easy. Cannot give enough praise for this location. They went out of their way to pick up a part for me at another location rather than just send me there. Best customer service in this field.

I was 2 hours from camp when my battery died. Lucky I got a jump start ,and was told how to get to Advance Auto.Shane checked my battery and alternator. Battery didn't have enough life to start the truck anymore. He changed it for me and off I went.Thank you ,I have made it back to camp.

Purchased some parts for my truck, and was given the wrong brake pad (was not even close). Upon trying to return the item, I was turned down due to the condition of the box, even though it was completely intact with all parts inside in their original packaging. Out 60$, I’ll go to VIP next time.

SUPER HELPFUL!! Went into this location and asked a worker if he could possibly help me with my cars hood as it wouldn’t fully shut Tyler came right out and helped me solve the issue right away definitely will be coming back for all my auto needs, amazing service.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. A simple windshield wiper blade exchange has turned into nearly $500.00 in repairs to my car. This was due to negligence from the staff, that claims they are “experts.” The staff member switching out my wiper blades said more than once that she was trying to break the old wiper blades off my car, as they aren’t allowed to use tools to remove them. Once I realized my windshield wiper wasn’t moving, I contacted the manager of the store. He tried to cover for his staff, saying that I told him myself that my windshield wiper wasn’t moving, and I needed new blades to fix that problem. Who needs new blades for a windshield wiper that doesn’t move? I certainly wasn’t born yesterday, sir. Looking forward to chat with the district manager.

Very helpful and had a good attitude towards customers

Very knowledgeable counter person last night. This guy should be a manager. Got cv shafts for my 2008 VW GTI. He also helped me with engine codes and engine oil. Dexos verses conventional oils.

I was on a 17 hour trip in Maine and got off the interstate in Waterville for gas. As I was coming down the off ramp, both of my mufflers fell off at the inlet. After gassing up I saw an Advance auto and decided to see if I could do a quick and temporary fix on the exhaust. Angel and James were both ready and willing to assist with my parts needs to repair my exhaust. I had minimal tools but was able to get it slid back together well enough to get me back to Burlington VT without going deaf. Angel and James are part of a great team in Waterville and should be commended for their great service.

If you're going to shop here you better know what you're looking for. The associates have no idea what they're talking about most of the time. Or they straight out lied to you. At least at the Waterville location. I hear the other stores in Winslow in Pittsfield are way better. And I am never going to take the chance again.
