Went for a weigh in for my PCS. The guy working the scale was pretty helpful and the weigh in was free which was awesome. Only downside is the scale is set on a dead end path so be aware when you go there to use the scale you'll need to shimmy yourself around and drive back around off of the scale.
If you take items to recycle ♻️ and they put a hold on it to come back get your money 💰 you can leave a name with your ticket if you can't come back to receive the money yourself. As long as you have the ticket, it's legible, and your ID. Just FYI
This place I don't recommend to anybody. Every time I go here it's not good . If you are taking aluminum or anything to scrap don't take it here. They have there scales off and 2 the screw you on weight, and on the price. They ought to be in the diamond business they are so tight! Time before last they tried shorting money ticket said 38 bucks I looked at ticket and counted the money they only gave me a ten a five n some ones I turned around and said something. Got my twenty

I met these folks when they first moved here back in 85 or 86 and we became friends ever since they have always treated me good and far as I know they do good business they will help you anyway they can.

Best place in the area for used parts, as well as if you need extra metals for your side projects. Mr Thomas and Gerald are always welcoming and willing to help a person out!
Their yard is an absolute disaster but the staff are very friendly and prices are good if they happen to be able to find what you are looking for. It would help their business if they were organized with cars in rows so they would know what they have. They also buy scrap metal if you have any junk that you need to haul off. If you have Junk cars in the city limits they pick up for $35 and pay you what is left.
This is a wonderful place of your thinking about learning how to deal with scrap metal their family from the long grain good church group people there They never treat you wrong They always look out for you and give you free advice I'll be one of their law customers until I stop scrapping on the side of the road
Always easy to do business with Harvey's. The hands in the yard are helpful and courteous. The prices are competitive and current with the market. I've never had a complaint other than having to wait 5 days to be paid for copper. But I think that they are required to do that.
