Do not I do repeat do not give them your business they are crooks. Charged me 400 for an exhaust job. A week later the x pipe welds busted and cracked the owner cussed me and refused to fix it. And l then tried to charge me extra to replace.
I will not be going back here. I got cussed and threatened for no reason. The couple that own this shop also own shady hill RV park. I got laid off from offshore and behind on bills but before I did I had bought a lift kit for my jeep and asked how much it would cost for them to install it. All I needed was labor and was quoted $300 or $400. I left it with the shop and when I came home from offshore it cost nearly 2x the amount as quoted. They said the mechanic worked on it for 12 or more hours. The kit had every nut,bolt,washer,everything a home mechanic would need and only 4-6hrs to install. Once I got it then it is worse than what it was before. No alignment. No nothing. They said to bring it to them and they only threatened to "ruin my life" and to get off the property. They will never do any more of my work. They will rip you off at any chance they get. I am still trying to fix my vehicle and all that they messed up. I am a mechanic myself and will never let them do anymore of my work. I'll also pass the information on to other people and company's to what they are doing and what they did to me. Worst shop ever!!!
The exhaust work is great here. I’ve had hit and miss with shops doing exhaust work so I was a little hesitant, but once I’ve seen the work of this shop I would highly recommend it. The welds and the placement and bending of the pipe is excellent. Truly professional in my opinion.
I love taking my vehicle to Sandy Hill Automotive. I can trust their work and Mr. Robert does a amazing job on exhaust. His exhaust work sounds like no other around here. Thank y'all very much
Hands down friendliest staff and amazing customer service. Replaced my exhaust in less than two hours. They had multiple exhaust options and great prices.
Their hourly service rate is pretty good. Probably the cheapest in town. It's better if you go here already knowing what you need done. That being said, they don't try to up sale you on unnecessary repairs or anything so I really appreciate it. They'll have my business for as long as I'm in the area.
Do not go there!!!! These people are thieves. You gonna be overcharged. These guys not honest. They charged me 58.04 after having changed a bulb. 2003 dodge ram 1500 bulb cost like 5. The task took like 10mins. So guys stay away from this shop they drink like money they vampires
Do not go here!!! We were told over the phone it would be 45 for a diagnostic and when I dropped the car off and I told them we think it's the fuel pump. We got a call from them saying it was the battery. We went in the next day and they told is its 145 for the diagnostic. We got a new battery for the car and it broke down again. We took the car to a different mechanic and guess what, it's the fuel pump like we said. We will never ever take any vehicle to them again. Do not go here they will tell you one price then it's actually another and they clearly did not figure out what was actually wrong!

Went in as a customer to have a time done on truck, explained to the man we were getting ready to move to Colorado and need to make sure his truck is good for the long drive, my husband said yes we will eventually get transmission checked. Anyways the man quoted us 125.00 for tune up so we left truck there thought that was a great deal. Go to pick up truck later that day only to be charged 227.. for transmission fluid/filter, air filter and oil change....that’s not a tune up no spark plugs nothing.... and oh we gotta order them and the blocks and it will take aabout another 300 in labor hours.... so instead of first checking everything then calling me and to inform me of hey we don’t have these parts and would u like to wait till they come in or double charge for double labor!!! I talk to owner about it and he clearly isn’t understanding so I proceeded to inform him that I will spread the world of how bad they screwed us in money and his response was lady I’ll tear u alive and hung up on me!!!

My husband went here to get his gas leak in his car fixed. They told him he needed a new fuel line. They quoted him $300, ordered the part, for the wrong part, reordered a more expensive part. His car was in the shop for a full week. They charged him $400. The day he got it back, when he got home he realized the problem wasn’t fixed. It was leaking gas even worse. When he called up there to tell them, the mechanic that worked on his car said “Oh that sounds like you need a new fuel pump.” Meaning we paid $400 for a part and labor that we didn’t even need. They expect us to pay another $200+ for a fuel pump now and said they will not reimburse us at all for the labor or cost of the part we didn’t even need to begin with. We seriously paid $400 for no reason at all. We’re not about to go back there for the fuel pump either, because from what I’ve read they’re better with breaking things worse than fixing them.
This place is a shitshow. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. They blamed us for the problem not being fixed when they were the ones so adamant that we needed the fuel line not the fuel pump. The mechanic got super defensive and aggressive saying he fixed the part. Then how is my husband coming home smelling like gas even worse every day? They just made the situation worse. Wish we could go back in time and never have gone to this place. Such a discouraging experience, and it was unbelievable how nonchalant the my acted over the fact that we’d have to spend another $200+ with no guarantee they’d actually fix the problem the second time around without making it even worse. They should be called Shady Hill Automotive. Just a bunch of thieves and untrustworthy characters. Will definitely be spreading the word to all of my connections here not to do business with them.
The best exhaust shop in the area. They were very helpful, professional and friendly. I called and asked for a certain exhaust for my 15 Ford 150. They had exactly what I wanted. However, they had others that were a little less, but efficient. I ended up getting a custom exhaust for less money. Most businesses would have just taken my money. The owner wasn't money hungry at all. He was more concern about getting me the correct sound. Overall, I am very happy and I will only go to Sandy Hill for all of my repair work in the future.
I brought my car here because they had performed good work once before for an emissions problem. The second time I brought my car there, the mechanic admitted to me that he had broken it further and that it would no longer run.
I asked the person at the front desk if I could speak to the owner. He became agressive and said I couldn't and that he wouldn't give me his name. I looked it up at the courthouse and found that the person I spoke with was the owner. When I called him and confronted him on this, he became more aggressive, telling me I couldn't have my car back until I paid in full for the damage that was done.
Knowing what had happened from the mechanic, I didn't want to, but I did want to report this to Fort Polk so that this shop would be banned as a result of this behavior if they wouldn't refund my money. The mechanic I brought the car to afterward had diagnosed the original problem, and then told me the vehicle was not driveable as a result of the new problems.
It was upsetting to have to be ripped off, but hopefully the process will warn other soldiers of this shop.
