Ty is very unprofessional about carrying out his business. My car had a bad hose on the heater valve, that I had to bypass to get it over to him. After dropping it off after hours because I didnt want to burn up the engine, He told me he didn't want to replace the valve because he didn't want to go behind someone's work. Then I told him I needed to fix it before I could drive it back home, but he wouldn't even let me fix the hose in his parking lot so I could drive it back home. What a total jerk Ty is, I'll never bring anything to him again or recommend anyone of his Services! I hope people read his reviews before making that decision. Stay away!
I’m fairly new to the Zachary area and I needed to find a shop close to my home. I stopped at Supreme Car Care spoke with the owner Ty about an AC issue and I was advised to drop off the following day for diagnostic. I dropped my vehicle off and my vehicle stayed there the entire day. I received a call from Ty the owner of the shop later that afternoon stating that he performed a diagnostic and found that there was a low Freon issue. He said that he put Freon into the system and that should fix the issue. No other issue was found. That evening I picked up my vehicle and my AC was blowing cold. The very next day I noticed that it was blowing hot air so I brought it back to Ty and immediately I detected a shift in his attitude. I explained to him that the AC was not cooling and that I paid him over $200 for an issue that he said was fixed. At this point I felt played. He then asked me to drop the vehicle off the very next day again and leave for further diagnostic. Got a call from Ty around noon stating that I needed 2 lines and new AC condenser for a total of $2200. I got off work asked him to show what I would be paying $2200 for and he got an attitude. He told me that he already explained why it was that price but, when I asked to see the faulted parts he refused to show to me as if he was hiding something. I then told he to pull my vehicle out of shop because at this point I didn’t want to deal with him. I feel that when you are the paying customer you have the right to see EVERYTHING!!! He refused to show me but, instead was pointing down into the hood. Ty is not an honest mechanic and my advise to anyone thinking of coming to Supreme Car Care DONT !!! Red flag he’s the owner and only mechanic running a big shop. Please stay away!!!
What an absolute unprofessional jerk!
I went in Monday, June 17th and inquired about a front-end alignment as I had just rebuilt the front-end of my truck. Ty told me that he couldn't get to it until Friday and told me to be there about 10:30 Friday morning. He also told me to go ahead and get new tires on the front before the alignment. After replacing the tiles and anxiously waiting all week, I got there about 30 minutes early. I could tell by his expression something was wrong. And of course, he tried to blame it on me. He said, "Front-end alignment, right?'. I said yes, that's correct. He then asked why I didn't get there early. I told him I'm 30 minutes earlier than what you told me on Monday. He then admitted that he had forgotten about it and probably wouldn't be able to get it done today. When I commented on his lack of professionalism, I was told that he didn't need my business. Say what?! Now, I understand things happen, I'm self employed and work by appointment as well. But, if/when I make a scheduling error, I do everything I can to make things right. What a complete and utter jackass! Incredibly rude, unprofessional and from what I've heard since, does absolute second rate work! I then went across the street to Complete Automotive where my business was appreciated and the work was completed in a timely manner by professionals. Don't waste your time/money at Supreme Car Care!
The work and price is always better than dealerships. Work is always done in a timely manner. I have been going to Supreme for about 4 years now and I have never been disappointed.
DO NOT GO !!! Very RUDE ! Customer service was horrible. Owner said he hires people off the street and couldn’t give me their names. Advised me to call my insurance.
Had 2 tires mounted and balanced at this shop. I noticed a vibration when driving highway speeds on my way to work the next time I worked. When i went back 2 or 3 weeks later to try to get tires rebalanced he said he had never had a complaint in 5 years. I told him well I guess u were due for a mistake. He would not rebalance, unless I let him test drive(diagnose) vibration and I would have to pay diagnostic fee. I wish i wouldve read the other negative reviews about this place before I brought my business there. This shop is very close to my residence so it wouldve been convenient to have a tire shop I could use so close. Guess I'll be bringing my future needs elsewhere.
Ty treated me very well. I had an emergency repair that needed to be done in one day so that I could get back to work and he was able to get it done and back to be before the end of the day. The rates were reasonable, and he worked with me to find ways to reduce the cost of the repair. I intend to come back here again when I have other repair needs.
I had my car towed in to have a diagnostic check to see why it keep stalling on me. The owner Ty told me he would check it and give me a call after he checked it out... Well after waiting a couple hours I called him back. He told me my transmission had gone out and he could get me some prices together. And if I decided to get the work done there I would need to bring him a $500.00 before he could start the work. I called him back he gave me some prices I told him we're to expensive that I'd take my car else where... Well upon returning to Supreme Car Care Mr. Ty had already proceeded to take my care apart and demaned it pay him to put my car back together. I offered to pay for the diagnostic check but he demanded I pay him $2600.00 to put my car back to the condition it was upon arriving to his shop. I called the police and he stated to police that we had a verbal agreement and I could not remove my vehicle without paying him $2600.00!!! Well I'm now faced with the options of paying him $2600.00 for a car still needing a transmission job or hire an attorney which I can't afford right now, but need my car asap!
