Employees are the best, and Mr. Waddell and his son are great and one or both are always willing to speak to customers. Best place to take your scrap. Best prices in 3 countries or more. Only place I will go for my recycling of all types of scrap metal. Only reason I wouldn't take my scrap metal here is when they are closed for their annual vacation week around the 4th of July.

I can't say enough good things about waddell's auto scrap and metal recycling we've taken a lot of cans vehicles everything metal here has always been a positive experience every single time. The owner is very friendly and so is the staff all the way around.
To be honest. This place is second to none. They treat you like family and will explain the entire scrap process to you if you are a rookie like I was. Wouldn’t go anywhere else I tell you that. Go check them out today. You will leave satisfied and you will return.
ended up getting 90 cents a pound for number two copper when the going rate is $3. I'll stick with Edwards recycling where they pay more.
Update: they made it right when confronted with a receipt from another local scrap recycler for the same day. Had mismarked the copper as insolated copper. Ultimately a good experience in the end.
Very well organized, and upkept
Staff was very friendly, and knowledgeable were everything I needed was parts wise, and have a large selection from older cars/trucks to very recent ones.

Every time I’ve needed to dispose of my old worn out vehicle i always count on Waddell. They either pick it up or I’ve dropped off a few. The price for recycling was the best I could find and has always been. Even with COVID running rampant they are practicing safe habits. You’ll feel safe conducting business here they take the extra step to make sure you feel safe.

Not only is it clean and organized but the service is fast and friendly. Several times I have went looking for a specific part and they have known exactly where the vehicle or appliance was that had the part I needed. When I have been there to scrap they were just as amazing and the prices are always the best around!
Great people and business, great prices, I started taking my scrap here and now I won't take it anywhere else, everyone is super friendly and always willing to help when I pull in with either a car or load of scrap, highly recommend, iv never had a bad experience
