Doug's Towing and Recovery is an automotive shop and a heavy truck shop, with over 50 trucks to suit all your needs, including two rotating wreckers. Have some pretty good drivers that will drop anything even family events to get to their customers to help them out and do it with professionalism and very good at what they do I've seen them load vehicles that I would have thought just loading the vehicle would have left it in way worse shape but not even an extra scratch.. this guys run there butts off they are respectful to u so please if u have the unfortunate event where u need to call there's guys in please remind your selves these guys are always on the rd away from there families and doing a an extremely dangerous job..
If you have to deal with these people, and your vehicle is impounded and they quote you a price over the phone, BRING EXTRA MONEY! PRICE WILL CHANGE WHEN YOU GET THERE!
My daughter's vehicle was impounded and taken there. Upon arrival, the Windows were all down and raccoons had been inside the car. There was a defect on the passenger side and they claimed it wss already in there but it wasn't. They acted somewhat racist as we were black and they were white. No great customer service.
Very scammy asked the tow driver to meet at my house he insisted on meeting at a gas station n then waited 5 minutes for me before he left and impounded my car very rude too told me to ‘shush’ while asking a question as he shoved his finger in my face and pretended like he didn’t see me when I first enter the store I had to yell over 3 times before he decided to come to the front and I was over charged for my vehicle being towed barely 5 miles. If you can I’d call another tow company this one’s definitely only worried about getting car in there lot .
I had a great experience when it came time to tow my 1965 Plymouth home from storage. They were extremely careful with my classic car, and took their time making sure not a single scratch, scuff or ding resulted from moving the car. The operator was friendly and very well trained. They were very reasonably priced for the task. I will definitely be a return customer if the need arises.
I got something in my tire, and it was after normal business hours, I called, and the dispatcher was very friendly and professional. I was fairly close to the office, and she said I could bring it to the shop, and she could call one of the guys to come there to fix my tire. The guys at the shop were fantastic, they repaired my tire and got me on my way home for a great rate. I would definitely use them again for future needs.
We were on our way to my family’s in leitchfield for thanksgiving when our engine blew. We live in Louisville so we were nearly 100 miles from home. Shawn came and got us originally dropped us off to Darius and he brought us home. Both were very accommodating, they were prompt and they got us home safe. Would definitely recommend
They towed my semi and i left my 500 dollar gps in there thinking the semi would be out quick well someone took my gps a long with my chargers and window mounts for the phone and the gps if you get towed by them take everything with you
Granted immediate access to my totalled vehicle. Only issue was my vehicle was placed incredibly close to two other vehicles, which kept me from getting into the vehicle easily. Staff was courteous and even offered a water after I was suffering a bit of heat exhaustion. Very professional and nice.
