I stopped by the store for a tire loosing pressure and these guys were a big help. They found a small slit between the treads and completed a quick plug patch, rebalance and out the door. Big fix for a small price, kind and very professional staff with a very clean store and restroom areas. I would recommend this store and thank you guys for all your help....

My husband and I were traveling through Kentucky when we realized we had an issue with our tire. We stopped at Ken Towery’s and found that the issue was much more serious. They took our car in quickly and at a reasonable price. We were back on the road in no time. We appreciate them working with us with such quick turnaround, obvious knowledge, and overall professionalism.

Went in for a scheduled oil change which was done in a timely manner. Staff communicated with me and were nice as well as professional. The lobby, waiting room and restroom were clean. I especially liked the new waiting room chairs and Halloween decorations!

I have recently bought and had 4 new tires put on my 2014 Malibu and went back today fir shocks, bushings and can't remember what else. They told me it would take 2 hours and they were right on time. Bruce that works there is amazing. Excellent service. I highly recommend them to anyone. Will definitely go back for all my car needs that they can handle. Great employees! Honest people.

Great service, my new "go to" location for auto repairs. Nice group of people to deal with. My only complaint is that they don't provide coffee while waiting for my vehicles to be repaired. It's just me. I like the "old-shool" experience of sipping coffee while having a panic attack about the looming bill that is coming, lol.

I've pulled into Ken towers on terrible road because I knew from a previous visit there that I had a foreign object in the sidewall of one of my tires. They're not allowed to make repairs to attire that has problems in the sidewall since that is the weakest part of the tire. So I left and put the old fix a flat in it waiting to get more wear out of the tire since the truck only has 22,000 mi on it it's a model 2019 GMC Sierra SLE. When I bought it it was absolutely in perfect condition. I have been looking for used vehicle like this in a truck for over a year. I was on there a lot looking at their inventory of used vehicles from trade-ins when I learned that there was a 2019 that had just been dropped by previous customer who came in to trade that truck and get a brand new one. I went back the next day and bought that truck. It had 7,450 mi original on it. The tires probably still had somewhere around 40% wear left, which made me think a better hang on to these tires as long as I can save some money which I did and was able to hang on to it with the aid of Fix-A-Flat. Then I ran to a problem with the tire pressure system. I found out that the sensor is in the valve stem which is in the stem of the tire and they have individual batteries that run down over a certain amount of time. When you realize that your truck was born in 2019 those batteries have been kicking along for a while. So I bit the bullet and bought four Cooper tires brand new with the understanding that they were going to be able to replace the TPS sensors when they replace the tires which would kill two birds with one stone. After I've been driving it for some time the tire pressure system alerted me that I had a malfunction of some kind still. It showed the left front tire reading at 30 psi and the other three had no reading at all. And they were done with the job the service manager advised me that they only have to replace three sensors that the other one still had at least 40 to 50% battery life left and I wouldn't have to worry about it for some time. That sounded great to me and I left expecting the TPS to work as advertised. It did not so I will need to return to see what else can be done. I expect they will have to use some kind of OBD checker to reset the entire system I hope I'm accurate on that assumption so I don't have to go back to the dealer and go through all this again. I'd already found out that the dealer's cost per sensor, was approximately 130 dollars each. Plus diagnostic time and installation. So as you can see I was happy that they were telling me that they could take care of the entire problem themselves and that I should leave with a perfectly working tire pressure system. I will follow up with my outcome and post it after my second visit I'm hoping for a positive outcome because the automobile business is fickle at best! I know this because I worked and fixed operations of several dealerships in Lexington and nicholasville Kentucky for over 17 years. See, all this was really in my wheelhouse. More to follow...

The young man that assisted me at my visit was very knowledgeable. He went beyond measures to tell me exactly what was wrong with my vehicle. After informing him of a recent motor replacement, other information was given regarding that. I had originally took it in for an inspection, due to a rattling noise, my vehicle was making. He knew right away the noise was coming from my motor(timing chain). He also investigated things further and I had no oil in the car, not even 3 weeks after replacing my motor(couldnt drive it much bc the rattling and other issues since replacing my motor...give or take less than 500 miles later once the motor was replaced). Was very satisfied with the oil change and service. If you take your car there, ask for Trenton. They are more than just a lube mechanics, they've helped me before with sensors and other things wrong.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is morally corrupt and has no regard for its customers. A family member brought their car in for servicing, and not only did they cause damage, but they also tried to play it off like it wasn’t their fault, instead of taking responsibility. Save yourself the headache and insurance claim—go to a shop that actually values honesty and quality work. I wouldn’t trust these people with a bicycle, let alone a car.

Was in Danville for a funeral and the morning of I had a leak in a tire, After the funeral I ran by to see If they could check it out. They did a remarkable job and really helped me out so that I could return home. I highly recommend them. Good people

Lady there was complaining the entire time ended up calling the manager to complain some more… couldn’t relate they gave me exceptional customer service and got the job done on my car in a timely manner. Also, I made an appointment originally at another Ken Towery but ended up at the wrong location. Instead of making me drive to the other location they fit me in their schedule, saved me a few hundred more than I would’ve spent at the other location and insisted on doing this all for me even though they clearly had a busy schedule that day. Highly recommend this specific location.

I needed an oil change. The guy working there Scheduled it for 7:30am when they open. I get there at 7:20 and no one gets there until 7:45. When I go in and talk to them, they tell me there’s no one there to do an oil change until 8:30am. I tell him I had an appointment and he says “okay well we will get to you at 8:30” I have to be at work by 8:45 at the latest. They were kind of rude about it. This isn’t the first bad experience at this specific Ken Towery’s.

Just dropped off a set of tires for my lawnmower and they got me in and out in less than 30 minutes, and didn’t charge me to put the new tires on. I tried to pay but they wouldn’t let me. Another great experience at Ken Towery’s. Thanks!

Talk about a positive moment of truth, got a flat on Labor Day. Everyone was closed for the Holiday except Here. Had an odd size: (245-40R-19). Low and behold, fate moved its huge hand and James Walters, Asst Manager intervened. Not only did he find the correct tire by size and brand at another sister store, but he personally installed it. Gave me a great deal and I made my trek home back to Indiana, 5 hours away, without a snag. Super impressed. 5-Stars all the way.

We limped into Ken’s with a massive puncture. Bruce immediately took care of us and got us back on the road, and charged us almost nothing. And all this while we had our pot bellied pig in the back of the car!!!

Absolutely, the worst experienced I’ve ever had including misdiagnosis, total incompetence and sloppy handling of scheduled appointments, which I had several. I spent almost $6000 repairing items when all i needed was a $400 repair. They finally fixed the problem and threw away the under-tray for my car. I was not offered a replacement had to threaten small claims court to get action, additionally they overtightened and cross treaded the lug nuts. I still have not received my replacement part the under tray, beware. Also, the entire staff has been replaced including the manager. No one is aware of Any scheduled appointments, you might as well just walk in. But please don't. Trust me.

Had an 8:30 appointment and I arrived 10 minutes early. I learned that someone else's vehicle was taken in right before I walked in. Personally, I didn't care too much for that when I had scheduled an appointment. I stated to the manager that there was a vibration in the steering and I needed my tires balanced. He said they would get on it, as soon as they got the other vehicle before me done. later I over heard that the vehicle in front of me was a family on vacation and they had a flat. Then i had to agree with managers decision to put that family in front of me. It stinks to be on vacation and broke down. When my truck was finished and I got to drive it, i was impressed by the fact that the vibration was gone. I hope the young man, that balanced my tires, knows how much his work is valued. I am a highly satisfied customer and will recommend this store to anyone.

Edit: I had already gave a rave review about how awesome this store on Thoroughbred Drive is (2022) needing car repairs presently brought me back again and of course I had an amazing experience with Morgan (great customer service skills) ! I really appreciate him getting me in and out quickly and at a reasonable price. As I’ve said before in my last review : My household will continue to be loyal customers as long as we have vehicles! The survive was great. My car was in and out quicker than expected. My only issue I had was the serviceman got grease all over my visor and left a footprint on the inside of my door. All and all I enjoyed my visit and will return.

Very happy with my service visit! I appreciate their early opening hours. They quickly helped me out of a time-sensitive jam and got me back to work and on the road. It’s really nice to be able to talk to a real person on the phone, explain my situation, and have quick suggestions offered to me as well as friendly, capable service. This is my go-to tire place in Danville!
