During a baseball tournament, my friends and I were walking back from a McDonald’s near our hotel at midnight when a car threatened to shoot and run us over, attempting to hit us three times. A Allens Towing and Service employee, “Scooter,” had earlier helped us order food when the inside of the McDonald’s was closed but the drive through was open, because we did not have a vehicle and walked. After the incident, Scooter then heroically gave us a ride back to our hotel, ensuring our safety as the threatening car lingered nearby. Despite sacrificing his sleep, money, and safety, Scooter’s kindness and quick action made all the difference. His outstanding character reflects the quality of Allen’s Towing Service. Scooter deserves a raise for his exceptional service. Highly recommend this company for their caring and reliable staff! Thanks again scooter
If I could put no stars I would for customer service the guy was extremely rude to me on the phone and had the worst attitude. The guy I spoke to is what’s wrong with the world he was so cold and seemed heartless just money hungry and greedy people.
My car broke down while trying to deliver medicine to my daughter. I was 30 minutes away. Billy from Allen’s Towing and Services is the best! Very professional and kind! Towed me back to Lexington! I locked my keys in my car, and I have road service on my vehicle. Unfortunately, my insurance company was not in "net work" are. However, Allen's was dispatched to the rescue. For their company to be located in Danville Ky. I was impressed with the reasonable time response. I was impressed with the driver's demeanor and curiosity. His name was Justin." The critique I would give the company is to have some uniform shirts for or drivers. With logo and some type of reflective vest with logo. Because you have a nice-looking decal scheme. charged 365.00 for a three mile tow and 20 hours on their lot. Given the run around in the phone when called to arrange another mechanic picking up the car. Thieves
Came out on a cold, rainy Sunday when I couldn't get the lug nuts off of my car. Got to me very fast! The nicest young man was driving the wrecker, got my stubborn lug nuts off and put my spare on. Highly recommend!
Called told em I needed a tow that my alternator was bad he tightened the battery terminal nuts said that was my problem didn't tow it and still charged me 60 dollars wouldn't recommend
These guys did an incredible job getting my car out of a really tough and dangerous spot. If you are in this area use this crew. They know the area well and are excellent at what they do.
Fantastic team at Allen’s. They were recommended to me by a friend when I got locked out of my car in the dark, in the rain, with my dog stuck in the car. They arrived so quickly and charged half the price of the big name locksmiths.
Called them on Friday night after my husbands truck broke down, they remembered all my information when I called back on Sat. Morning. Very promptly they had Nathan @ Allen’s tow our truck from Lancaster back to Perryville. He went out of his way to come by our house get the key and save us a trip in meeting him there. He was very cordial, did a great job and placed it exactly where my husband asked him.

I was driving home in the rain, hydroplaned, hit something and blew out my front left tire. I called Allen's just after 10 pm, the call was answered almost immediately and I explained my situation and what I needed. The gentleman on the phone was pleasant, concerned about my safety, and clearly explained the cost of the service and that someone would be there within 30 minutes. The price for the services was very reasonable, especially since they encountered issues, secondly the 2 gentleman arrived in less than 15 minutes to provide the service in the pouring down rain. I was not charged anything more than the original estimate despite the issue they encountered. And they did a visual inspection of my remaining tires as well. They were pleasant and provided a clear and concise update on the issue and I was back on the road in about 30 minutes. I would not and do not hesitate to recommend Allen's! Improperly towed van from back causing exhaust damage. We had proof (pics & statement from a mechanic) and he just laughed at me and told me to sue him. The second I started my van, I knew something was wrong so I went back in and had him ride with me. He laughed and said I couldn't prove it was him. I then took to a master mechanic who verified the damage had just occurred, who also took pictures for us. I sent the evidence to Troy Gerlach, the owner, who then proceeded to laugh, told me to sue him, and hung up on me. We have many mutual friends and he had mutual relatives to my husband, and he still treated us this way. So imagine the lack of integrity he has.
