My truck was in need of new tires and an oil change. The staff at Ken Towery by Sonic was awesome! They were able to get me in quickly and did a good job. I would recommend their services.
I was at Harrodsburg Tire and Automotive and was told I needed tie rods and wheel bearings before I could get an alignment ($1,400) I stopped at Towery's having had a great experience in Lexington once.
Sure enough, one of my tie rods was a little bad but the wheel bearings were fine! I got my alignment and almost cried when I got the news.
Thank you so much, they got me right in and saved me over $1,200 by being honest good guys. I highly recommend.
When I have an appointment with them they were right on time!! With 2 vehicles I have let them service both for over 10 years and they have kept records and the service has been excellent sense they were able to find quality mechanics!! My car started having antifreeze issues and they were able to immediately replace hoses and thermostat !! I always refer anyone who has a problem don’t wait until you are stranded!! They usually check other parts and check for any issues!! I know that today it’s hard to find good mechanics!!!??
We have done business with Ken Towery for many years . I had an issue with the vehicle I felt needed to be addressed. I took it there and Justin said they would take a look. As my luck would have it there was something that had to be fixed right then. They got be in and fixed it . Thank you Justin and team for your kind service .
Good service, and fast. Sent someone to put my donut on, cuz I couldn’t even find the jack-points on the newer fiberglass cars, then led the way to their shop. Two tires replaced in less than 90 minutes, although the price was stiff. ($900?!) Took longer for them to get my info in the system than it took to do the job.
Phillip took the time to explain things in a way I could relate and understand. Justin was very friendly when he called to inform me about services. The double checked their work. I will definitely return.
I was on hold from Walmart while my friend drove me to the store. No customers there waiting when I pulled up and walked in to hang up. Was priced a tire in which I was ready to pay for then at $114. Was told I pay after the service of the tire replacement, which was fine until the total price was $171.00. If I knew before, I would’ve just bought the tire only.
Came in for an oil change and they spotted an issue with a brake. And I was very thankful that they did they were able to get it fixed while we were there. Total of about an hour between oil and brake and the issue was solved and I want to thank them deeply. Justin is a very good person thank you

We brought our 2026 Tesla Model Y in for a tire balance and rotation. Bruce got us taken care of in a timely manner! We are so glad to be able to bring our cars to somewhere local, rather than drive all the way to the Tesla Service Center in Louisville.
Ken’s was so accommodating when i had car trouble this week and worked me into their busy schedule! Super friendly and kind staff made all the difference for me ! The price was even cheaper than the quoted amount when they finished ! I !would highly recommended going here for service and i will definitely go back ! 5 stars Ken!
I walked in and spoke to the guy at the counter. I told him what I needed they immediately said can you come back at 4:00pm. I said no because I was having a flat tire due to a leak and he says "I would suggest going to the other Ken Towery." Very unprofessional. I would suggest avoiding Ken Towery in Danville Kentucky. I went to a Mom and Pop place and see immediately.
Had a flat tire and was towed in. They got me me in a reasonable time. Good overall experience. Service was great. While I know the economy sucks right now, I do think their overall pricing is higher compared to other shops in the area.
It was awful. They quoted me a price of $1609, of which $1,000 was the parts. I did some research on trying to buy the parts myself and got every one of the parts for $384. I didn’t took them the parts and paid them for the labor, which was $600 and the car still had the check engine light on. When I pulled the codes, it was the same exact codes that it had before they did anything to the car. After putting $1000 into the car, nothing was fixed. Car still won’t run and they told me to take it to a mechanic that was more equipped to fix it.
It’s actually crazy that this company is still in business, There’s no telling how many women, both young and old, who have been taken for thousands and thousands of dollars over the years of them jacking up prices on parts, charging massive amounts for labor, and swindling people who don’t know any better.
It is criminal doing this type of business. Nasty work!!
Phil and E. Cornett were great! Gave thorough explanations to help me make the best decisions for my situation and got me the best price possible, as well as correcting an error from my previous visit that I wasn't even aware of! They were honest and so nice, with patience of saints dealing with my questions and indecisiveness lol.
Took my toyota in for an oil change and a balance and rotate . They called back saying I needed new front brakes- taking my total from $300 (oil change and balance rotation only) to $900 for ONLY the front brakes. Im not sure if they were trying to take advantage of me because I'm a woman or if they rip everyone off. I took it in to J&K and they did it for a fraction of the price. I will NEVER take a vehicle here again.
I had a flat tire was from out of town. I asked AAA to just put some air in my tire so I could drive over to Ken’s and the best thing I did. These guys took really good care of me and I appreciate the personal service and candor and honesty. That was at the Danville location - couldn’t find a better bunch of guys
My technician was Phil, he was absolutely awesome! I don’t go to many auto shops, but Phil was extremely professional, personable, and took his time explaining everything in detail. Even went above and beyond fixing things I didn’t expect free of charge! Would highly recommend Phil to anyone needing auto maintenance in Danville, he did a killer job.
I ran over a huge bolt and just knew the tire couldn’t be plugged. I even said to Justin that I’m sure I’m going to need a new tire. Nope, it was plugged. Now they could have very easily told me it couldn’t be fixed and I did need a new tire. I would have never been the wiser .This is why I always go there and have for years…. I wasn’t sold something I didn’t need. My vehicle needs have always been taken care of in a timely and honest way.

Stopped in to have my brakes checked as Nissan dealership was pushing for me to have them done. KT scheduled me quickly and showed me that my brakes are still good and at half life. I will definately come back when I do need brakes! Great customer service!!
Let me first say that I have been to this location 6 times in the past few months. I have spent well over 8 hours in this store and have driven over 180 miles total during this terrible experience. I would like to say that this store has been a great help in warranty issues with Cooper tires, however the help in this store was horrific. Every time I have picked my truck up I have had to take it back the same day or days later because of balancing issues. (Tech not knowing their machine mechanics) I have also had issues with the Technician not taking the time to not damage my wheels. Every rim on my truck has been scratch. I am totally disappointed with my experience with Ken Towery in Danville Ky.
I'm an old white haired lady now, but I have worked on cars since I was 14. Brought my 2000 model car with only 50,000 miles on it in to have the tires checked. One tire on the front of my car was looking low and I just had it plugged 2 months ago so I was concerned. I personally checked my tires about a month ago and filled them to the proper 35 lb of air pressure and have driven it about 25 or 30 miles since then. I asked if the tires had any leaks or were they low and he said no they were not leaking but each had about 24 lb of air pressure.
Logically, this doesn't make sense to me, so I asked where could the air have gone? He began to explain because the tires were wearing on the edge and the car was out of alignment that I guess my air disappeared from that? How? leaking from magic osmosis perhaps? ...but they just told me the tires weren't leaking? I'm feeling confused at this point. They then told me I had a worn out tie rod on the passenger side and that I needed two new front tires because both the front tires were wearing on one side. Then said they could fix the one tie rod and replace the two front tires for around $500 it was normally over $700 but was going to make me a deal! I just wanted peace of mind and the "Free" check on my tires for leaks. I'm going to get a second opinion from a trusted mechanic.. however, Little old ladies and unknowledgeable people beware! Nothing is "Free" not even Air for your tires! Maybe wifi was really "Free" I didn't check ?
