We have been dealing with Shawnee Mission Ford for years. They are very easy to work with, highly professional and they keep you informed while the vehicle is being serviced. I would highly recommend working with Brooke one of the service advisors at Shawnee Mission Ford. Very nice, knowledgeable and keeps you informed while looking out for your best interest.

I am extremely disappointed with the recall repair performed on my F-250. The repair was not completed properly. Only two rivets were installed, and the protective shield is now hanging loose directly over the engine exhaust. This level of workmanship is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the quality and safety of the service provided. If this is how the recall repair was handled on my truck—where the issue is clearly visible—it makes me even more concerned about the work performed on my wife’s Ford Expedition, where the transmission was replaced. Since that repair involves internal components that I cannot visually inspect, I am now questioning the overall quality and attention given to our vehicles. I expect this matter to be addressed promptly and professionally.

Absolutely terrible AI agent tries to "help" you make an service appointment. Took me three times a long repeating myself with "Brooke" and just confused why Ford has become dedicated to replacing their workers with BS tech customers HATE. Pick one, AI or your customers.

My service advisor was great. She told me over the phone to come in for an oil change and that they would be done in an hour. 45 minutes later I was out the door. I will use them for all of my F150 service.

Recently, I was working with Jordan at Shawnee Mission Ford. I needed to replace a vehicle in a hurry and had some very specific requests. Jordan contacted me regarding my inquiry. He was very adept and extremely professional! While I was not able to locate a vehicle in their stock, based on the experience, I would choose to use and recommend using Jordan for future vehicle purchase!

Great experience. Our salesman, Ralph, was so knowledgeable and super friendly. He gave us a run down of nearly every feature of the vehicle before we ever left the lot for the test drive. The process was simple and they worked with us on our trade in. Definitely recommend!

I cannot express my gratitude enough for the care and support I received from this dealership! Our advisor, Danielle, went above and beyond for my family last Saturday 1/3/26. We had 3 play dates scheduled when my car was breaking down and we did not miss a single one of those playdates thanks to her wonderful customer service and attentive team of mechanics! Her patience and understanding while I had two very young children with me (during lunch/nap time) was truly comforting. Her communication skills were timely and efficient. I cannot thank you all enough for your service! Thank you for being a role model for what outstanding customer service should look like! Very refreshing to see that still exists!!

The service was not started at the appointed time twice. Not started until the next day after drop off. Parts identified needed for my service not in stock when I brought my truck in to complete the installation. The discount coupons offered for the service provided were not honored/received. The service scheduled was not completed as scheduled. It will be service appointment #4 to complete the work identified during the first appointment and required. I have not been notified if the missing part has been received yet. Have not heard back from Dealership after notifying them that I did not receive the discount for the service as offered by their mailing. Will be using a different dealership for future service requirements.

I recently had mobile service completed by Shawnee mission Ford. Communication in scheduling was great. On the day of service the tech communicated regarding his arrival time. He was punctual and courteous. Once the work was completed he even heated my car for me so it would be comfortable for me to drive it back into my garage. (It was a very cold morning.) The service provided was a 10 out of 10.

Looked at a nice used maverick. Gary was very helpful. Test drove on Saturday, came back on Tuesday and we hammered out the price. I was happy with the price and thought it was a fair deal. Got my financing in order through my credit union and came back the day after Christmas to purchase the truck and trade my old car in. Everything was set to go then this Shawn character comes over (apparently he's the lead sales manager) and tries to welch on $118 that we already took off the sales price. He gave me some ridiculous story about how he was going to pay the $118 difference out of pocket (which is clearly a line of BS) but his ex-wife's car broke down that morning and blah, blah, blah but now he was broke. He proceeded to open his wallet to show me it was empty and then tried showing me some texts messages to which I told him I would prefer if he got his phone out of my face. If this all sounds exaggerated or like a cartoon, you can only imagine what I was thinking sitting there listening to this crap. We are talking $118 on a $30k sale and the pettiness was enough to make me get up and walk out in the middle of the deal. Im not sure what sales tactic they use here but it came off as really corny and honestly kind of offensive that someone would try running such a comical angle. Truth be told, I'm relieved Shawn tried this angle because it made me think of the trouble I would have dealing with them in the future if they are this petty and dishonest. I dont have to spend my money here and I won't, good luck if you decide to try this carnival out!

I purchased a truck on December 6th of this year. During negotiations, I was told I would receive 3.9% financing and $3,250 cash back towards the loan. When I signed the paperwork, I did not realize it reflected only a $2,750 Ford rebate instead of the $3,250 that was promised. I initially spoke with the sales manager, but the issue was not resolved at that time. A few days later, the general manager of Shawnee Mission Ford contacted me and explained that there had been an error on their end and that I should have received the full $3,250 rebate. He was very apologetic and mailed me a check that same day. I truly felt that he cared about the situation and made a genuine effort to make things right and I think that speaks volumes.

I highly recommend Shawnee Mission Ford it’s an excellent dealership. Reached out to Adam Fanning he invited me down to test drive a few new Ford trucks took time to explain the different options styles etc. Once I decided on a truck Adam and his team at Shawnee Mission Ford searched for my future Red Ford Ranger Lariat had it delivered to the dealership fully detailed and fueled up. Adam had paperwork ready and he and JJ had me on my way in less than an hour. Terrible service. Truck was in their possession for 6 months for a recall. They gave it back multiple times in worse condition than when we dropped it off. Would go weeks or months without updating me on a solution or what was going to be done. Eventually called and said they were going to trade me out of it bc they couldn’t fix it. Then a month goes by and they call to say they have it fixed. Issue is resolved now, but when I picked it up I got stranded in a parking lot because of a dead battery and it needed jumped. Will be choosing a different dealership for any future needs, absolutely inexcusable customer service.

Inquired about trading my car in and Immediately was contacted by 3 different people. After a bunch of back and forth on price and apr rates. I finally got my credit ran and approved. It all came to a halt when the finance manager Shawn wouldn’t give me the bank buy rate when I asked. He gave me the sell rate and the run around. I’d advise everyone to avoid places that refuse to give you “the buyer”. The information when asked. Shawn really lost this one for the team. Plenty more places to shop around at.

The staff is friendly, helpful, and patient — they answer all questions clearly and never pressure you. The entire buying/service process is smooth, fast, and transparent, with no hidden surprises. Poor communication throughout the entire experience. Service advisor often does not answer the phone and even less often returns the call. No updates or communication were provided on the progress of the scheduled maintenance. While I understand that timelines can vary depending on the work required, basic transparency and responsiveness are essential. More concerning, the vehicle was brought in for a windshield wiper recall in addition to some other routine maintenance. Shortly after the service was completed, the windshield wiper detached while driving the vehicle on the highway. This raises serious concerns about the quality and safety of the work performed. The poor communication and faulty windshield wiper undermines the trust I have in service at Shawnee Mission Ford. I will not recommend anyone to this location. I value reliable service and transparency, and in my experience, these qualities were sorely lacking at Shawnee Mission Ford. I haven't heard of this happening at Bob Allen Ford... However, the shuttle driver was a bright spot in in an otherwise frustrating experience. They get the 2 stars. The Shawnee Mission Ford service department and the service advisor get 0 stars. I would give the shuttle driver 5 stars. However, I do not want the 5 star rating to be misleading and take away from my complete dissatisfaction with the service provided by the service department and service advisor. I won’t be returning to Shawnee Mission Ford, and I’ll be advising others to stay away as well.

Ernie & John are superb, Ernie especially. Not knowing i’d end up having to leave my car with them for 3 weeks, I was thoroughly kept up to date along the way. I truly appreciate everything & couldn’t ask for a better service advisor. John is a great shuttle driver and nice to chat with along the way. If I ever need anything else repaired (God forbid), i’ll make sure to bring my car back here. A+

I came to Shawnee Mission Ford to buy a Maverick hybrid. There was a mix-up with VINs that initially led to some confusion when I showed up to take possession, but the dealership owned it, made things right quickly, and got me into a hybrid Maverick the next day. Even though it was not the exact green one I had my heart set on, they went above and beyond to rebuild trust by including a nice tonneau cover as a goodwill gesture. In the end, I drove away happy in a great truck, and I appreciate the way they turned a frustrating situation into a positive outcome. Mistakes can happen anywhere, what matters is how a dealership responds, and Shawnee Mission Ford proved they are willing to act with integrity and go the extra mile for their customers.

Brought truck in for a tailgate recall. First time the truck was dropped off the truck was there for 2 days and they didn’t have the parts. Two months later the parts arrived and they cut the reverse camera wire and just returned the truck to me. Now the service adviser will not return my calls. Brought the truck in for a safety recall and the tuck was returned with more problems than when it was dropped off at the dealership. Very disappointing to see a Ford dealership treat customers this way.

I had the pleasure of working with Mike Alzatar at Shawnee Mission Ford, and I can honestly say he made my first car-buying experience exceptional. From the start, Mike was incredibly nice, quick to respond, and provided helpful advice about both the vehicle I was interested in and any secondary accessories I was considering. As a first-time car buyer, I was feeling pretty anxious about the whole process, but Mike's patience and understanding really helped ease my worries. I didn’t end up purchasing a car from Jordan this time, but I was very impressed with his service. He was extremely efficient in providing all the information I needed and was always polite and respectful. Even after knowing I didn’t buy from him, he still followed up and kindly thanked me for giving him the opportunity to help. That level of sincerity left a great impression. Next time I’m in the market for a car, I will definitely look for him again.

I recently had services done at Shawnee Mission Ford, and I was thoroughly impressed with both the communication and the quality of service provided. I had the pleasure of working with Brian and Amy as my service consultants, and they were both outstanding! Brian handled the majority of my vehicle’s service needs, including brake and rotor replacement, an alignment, and an oil change. He even went the extra mile by purchasing a part outside the shop to ensure my vehicle was ready the very next day. He kept me updated throughout the entire process—understanding my separation anxiety from my truck—and even took care of pulling my door keypad codes. Amy was also fantastic. She called exactly when she said she would to let me know when my vehicle was ready for service, and there was no long wait time. She followed up afterward to confirm everything was to my satisfaction after replacing my turn signal lamp, which had started to go bad. Both Brian and Amy encouraged me to reach out if I needed anything further for my Expedition, affectionately known as “Journey.” I was initially hesitant about going to the dealership for service, expecting sky-high prices, but I was pleasantly surprised. The cost was reasonable, and the warranty coverage and customer care far exceeded my expectations. A big thank you to Shawnee Mission Ford for taking such great care of me and my Journey—and a special shoutout to Mrs. Rita for being so kind and pleasant as well! I highly recommend this team to any Ford owner looking for trustworthy, top-notch service.

03/12/2025 Update: Initially, I had concerns about the service I received, but after following up, I’m happy to say the dealership went above and beyond to make things right. I was scheduled to bring my truck back in, and the team took excellent care of the issue. They ensured everything was properly fixed, and now my bumper looks just as good as the day I first brought it in. Their professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction have truly impressed me. Because of this experience, I’ll continue using this dealership for all my future service needs—I may have finally found my go-to local dealership. Original Review: I’ve ordered parts from this dealership many times, but this was my first experience having major work done. I purchased a tow package for my Ford Ranger—something I would normally install myself, but due to a recent back surgery, I opted for professional installation. At first, I found it odd that I was told my spare tire bracket needed to be replaced for the tow package to work, as this wasn’t mentioned in Ford’s official installation documentation. Upon inspecting the work, I was disappointed to find that the fender near the newly installed 7-pin connector was melted, as if it had been burned with a soldering iron. I wasn’t able to check under the truck immediately due to snow, but I was concerned that there might be issues with the spare tire holder as well. The bumper damage alone was already frustrating, and overall, the quality of work didn’t seem up to the standard I’d expect from a Ford dealership. Thankfully, after reaching out, they took the necessary steps to resolve the issue, and I truly appreciate their commitment to customer service.

Update: 01/13/2025 I called this morning to get an appointment to service my truck. They got me in, and out in an hour. Great customer service, thanks again for taking care of my truck. I called Shawnee Mission Ford the other day talk to them, made an appointment with them. Brought my car in 8 AM yesterday, they had my truck done by 10:30. They did the recall on my 2014 truck for the downshift in first gear. Change my oil, rotated my tires, and topped off all my fluids. Total wind done was $97. I can’t thank you enough for getting it done in a timely manner. So if you were looking for somewhere to take Ford vehicle, Shawnee Mission Ford has a great group of mechanics. I will be back again when it’s time to change my oil.

Chris Galvin was extremely helpful in finding my Bronco hard top. Knowing he didn’t have what I wanted in stock, Chris found one in another location. It was here within a week and it took less than 24 hours to put the leather seats in that I wanted.
