Got a quote from another shop for my AC and they quoted me $4000. Although Donovan’s was a month out on getting my car in, I waited. They were able to fix my AC for under $600! They were honest and had my car fixed in a day. We will not be going to any other mechanic!

After getting quoted 4,000 for ac repair I went to Donovans they where honest and.let.me.know what they thought was wrong and gave me options ac is working and saved 3,500 honest mechanic hard to find will defiently be back thank you very much

Another garage in town kept my car for two weeks without even looking at it. As an educator I had to start school and was stressed about renting a car I couldn’t afford. I called Donavan’s, had it towed to them and explained my situation. They had it repaired in time for school at less than the price quoted by the other garage. I’ll never use anyone else for anything! So grateful!

If you want an honest, fair mechanic, this is the place. They won't tell you to fix things that do not need to be fixed. I'm almost 60 years young and this is the first mechanic shop I have ever used that is honest and reasonably priced. You may have to wait a couple of weeks but that is the proof they are good, if you can obtain an appointment with any professional in less time, it is because they are NOT good.

They are honest and really know their stuff. No wonder they have such a great reputation. I'll take my car nowhere else.

I AM SO GRATEFUL TO DONOVANS!!! My front lower ball joints needed to be fixed. My Jeep was totally undrivable and had to be towed in. JEEP had quoted me $3703 for the repair after already paying them $1500 for repairing the power steering pump. I didn't have the money to do both, so they just fixed the pump. Donovans fixed the front lower ball joints for $2700 LESS!!! If I had taken my vehicle to Donovans in the first place, I could have afforded the pump and the ball joints and had the vehicle fixed properly. Instead, the Jeep dealership whom I had trusted with my vehicle for 18 years, let me drive away in a car that could have caused me to have an accident all because they value money more than giving their customers comparable pricing. I am eternally grateful to Donovans for fixing my Jeep, not only in a timely manner, but also at a decent price! I will continue to bring my Jeep to you in the future. Thank you, Donovans!

I had multiple issues with my vehicle including a bad alternator and vapor canister. During the repair of these issues there were some other codes that tripped. It would have been easy for them to recommend replacement of more car parts and I wouldn't have known any better. Instead, they brought the car in and found that these other issues were simply tied to a couple loose connections that they tightened up for me. I'm appreciative of their honesty, quality of work, and fair pricing!

Great Service! I had my Toyota towed there over the weekend, and they were able to get it in and fixed. I'd highly recommend this shop- good people and excellent work!

I had pretty good idea of what was wrong with my vehicle, and they confirmed and fixed it promptly without issue. Luckily it was a fairly inexpensive repair compared to the alternative, which was a new transmission. They were honest about what was really going on with it and didn't try to scam me into a lot of unnecessary repairs. So I know they're honest. Only issue was it took three weeks to get my appointment. But this tells me they are very busy, and for good reason. They are trusted and do good work.

Needed a new starter and called for an appointment. They are very popular as they do excellent service at a reasonable price. They do not gouge their customers. They do not up their prices because you happen to be a woman. They do explain just what they will be doing. The person who answered the phone said they were booked until 10 days out. I made that appointment as I won't go anywhere else. Here's the reason. (Last year I had received a very high quote from another shop for "extensive brake work." A friend recommended Donovan's Service so I dropped off the car the night before. I was stunned when the next morning I received a call from the shop to say that my brakes were fine and did not need any work. That's why I won't go anywhere else.) "The next day I called the shop to ask for an estimate for the starter so I could see how much I could spend on a rental car. I think I spoke to the owner. He stated that the job was only an hour and if I had the car towed to his shop he would fit me in, which he did. I was very thankful.

All I can say is thank you. I had such a wonderful experience at Donovan's after first going to a local Honda dealership to get a diagnostic done. The dealership gave me a laundry list of "things" that needed to be fixed and quoted me $2,500 for parts and labor. I ended up shopping around and through word of mouth heard about Donovan's. Long story short, Kyle took great care of me. He told me what was actually wrong with my car, they fixed the issues, and charged a very fair price. They run their business with ethics and integrity, and it's a breath of fresh air especially in this industry. I saved a whopping $2,000, and they earned a new life-time customer.

First time going to Donovan’s. (It’s only been around for nearly 87 years). Extremely professional, knowledgeable and fair (which is difficult to find in vehicle service shops from my experience). 4th generation owner/operator. I will not take my vehicle anywhere else now. They had one chance to convince me to do business with them and they succeeded. Personable and friendly. Felt like an old fashioned service station (in the best sort of ways). The staff is very professional. I had my brakes and rotors replaced here. (Works great) They are great at fixing pretty much any car problems you have at a affordable price. 5 stars for me.

We were sensing something was not right with the brakes. This place was recommended so we set up an appointment. It was going to be a 2 week wait but that is due to today's economic climate. That is just the way it is today. But we were asked to bring the car in the next day for a test drive so that they could get a better idea of what was wrong. Two weeks later, we had the front brakes done! They informed me of pricing before the work started and the time needed to complete. Car runs great. Thank you Donovan's!

Love the work that Donovan’s Service does for my truck. They are reliable, hardworking, and honest individuals. I recently went in for a big service. The dealership quote was a lot more expensive than what Donovan’s charged for the honest work, parts, and labor. It’s nice to be able to save a bit of money and receive a quality service. I know Donovan’s Service stays really busy and schedules appointments a few weeks out. Definitely, worth the wait to get my service completed. Thanks!

Absolutely outstanding service by automotive experts. Being from out of town I made an appointment in advance and they were able to find time to help me out, even though they were extremely busy. Straight shooters here, no games or questionable practices. They may not give you good news, but you can count on fair, accurate information from them. They charged me for one hour of labor instead of 1.3 like "the book" says, because they finished in an hour. I highly recommend this establishment for your automotive needs! If I know I will need my vehicle serviced I will try to schedule a trip here to get it done.

I found Donovan's 3 years ago when I moved to Shawnee and they are hands down the best. They have the best service, the best prices, the best people. They will talk you through your options and help you with timing of what urgently needs to be taken care of or what could possibly wait to the next visit. They're honest and up front about any issues or potential issues or if there's a problem and not a known fix, they'll talk you through what can be done. The prices are even and fair. I will always 100% trust them with my car and any work that needs to be done. Plus the people there are so incredibly nice. They have helped me with bubbles on the inside of my tire, figuring out if I could go on a road trip with my brakes, and even taught me how to change my windshield wipers. Hands down 12/10 would suggest.

My husband and I have used Donovan's for years now. I was put off by another service provider because I know enough about cars to know they were being dishonest. A friend recommended Donovan's and I can tell you, the integrity of their service is first notch, you will never be mislead. The prices are reasonable and their professional, friendly service is very down-to-earth and real. There's no trying to get you to buy what you don't need, in fact, I've thought a few times our repair was going to be crazy expensive, only to find out it was something simple and easy to fix. Donovan's Service is THE place to go to get your vehicle serviced, repaired, or simply inspected if you have doubts about a new purchase. I've taken my brand new Chevrolet truck to be serviced, a family members car with a fuel issue to be repaired, and my 1997 truck to be checked over before purchased. On each occasion, Donovan's provides unequivocal feedback and prompt service. They really are the definition of a local shop that cares about their customers. On my last visit for a routine service, I sat and listened to Pat explain to a customer that a repair on a thrown code was not necessary to improve the function of his particular vehicle and then went on to explain the particulars of why the code was being thrown in the first place and potential solutions to fix the issue. What an example of customer service. Try finding that at your big dealership service departments. Do not let the negative reviews sway you from coming to Donovan's. More likely than not, the customer themselves were being rude or had an expectation that they were the only customer of the day that needed a repair. Trust Donovan's - they'll treat you like their own family.
