They are helpful and provide a good service to the people of Ames.

The facility is clean and well organized. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend using this service.

Friendly Staff. They take pride in their work. I appreciate that they are doing a public service for the citizens of the county. I appreciate them. They work very hard to keep items that are hazardous out of the waste stream. Items that can be recycled are placed aside. Thank you for your hard work.

I dump here Monday thru Friday for work

Disposal fees for 1 Mattress: $25 - if you bring it in a Truck $15 - if you strap it to the roof of your Car $10 - if you park on the street and carry it in on foot! Which one would you choose?

Staff is courteous and keeps driveway free of debris to save your tires. Civilian fees are reasonable. $25 for as much as you can fit on a truck. INDIVIDUAL CHARGES FOR APPLIANCES, TAKE TO SALVAGE YARD INSTEAD. Other pricing is available online, something other reviewers weren't clever enough to Google...

Mark was the guy that answered the phone. He told me, like a good friend would, to bring my cargo van down with the 5 TVs and a computer monitor - and that it will cost me ten bucks!! I pulled in no sweat; threw it over the wall and I had those babies finally out of my hair. It was great - thanks a lot. I would have given it 5 stars but it's only trash after all.

I'm new to the area and the customer service is awesome. Had no idea Ames was trash to steam. So much better than shipping materials to foreign countries! FYI trash to steam is one of the best environmental comprises.

The charge a flat fee for pickup trucks of $25 no matter how much you may or may not have I would of saved money by taking the load I had to a landfill
