Not only did the tow truck get there way quicker than expected, but Ricky went above and beyond to get me back on the road. He was kind, competent, and instead of towing me, got a spare tire installed! Bobby Wells is the man! One of the best towers in the state. When my car broke down Bobby Wells came to tow it away with great precision and professionalism. He even let me borrow one of his 3 corvettes to drive for the week while my car was in the shop! Let’s Go Bobby Wells!!
We got stranded on 35 at night on Easter Sunday. Bobby was there in less than an hour and helped us out so much. Teah originally gave us the wrong price and called us back to let us know she made a mistake and the cost was half what she told us. A truly honest company with good people!
Very Quick service. “Money Mike” was my driver and he was very friendly and kept a conversation going the whole 1 hour 15 minute drive after I was really stressed about my situation. He even took the car to my exact parking spot for my apartment complex and then when I had trouble unlocking the door to my apartment he took his time to help me. Whoever was on the call when I called them was also extremely friendly and helpful. All in all excellent service.
On 3/5/25, with the heavy winds, one of our drivers with an empty trailer took a corner to an on ramp and inadvertently the trailer got pushed into a ditch. We called Central Iowa Towing at 0157 and got put on the list be pulled out after tow ban was lifted. Driver was told by local sheriff to get ride home as it was dangerous where he was sitting. Driver called tow company and let them know to give him call ahead so he could meet up. At around 1730 the call was received. Driver left to meet tow but when he arrive job was already done and tow was not there. When he called to pay, the invoice was almost $2000 for a 50 min job and 34 round trip miles. This was done with no driver on site, no estimate, no signature and invoice inflated (charged 2 hour minimum for “emergency” conditions). All tows are emergencies. When I called to inquire I asked for a call back and after 3 days did not receive any. I sent an email and got a response 2 days later that they would not adjust any amount citing equipment used (overkill for this job) and distance traveled. If you use this company, get an estimate first. If it’s too high, call someone else. This was predatory towing using anything they could think of to inflate the invoice.
Bobby was AMAZING and such a pro! I have only had fantastic experiences with everyone- they’re quick, polite, and they will absolutely go above and beyond and make sure you’re safe and taken care of. I will use them every time i need a tow.

Jake came to Bondurant this morning to drop off a car and received our claim in that area. Jake reached out when he got there. Called and explained everything. Then he had to do a couple more drops. Had a flat tire after a hockey game. The driver got a hold of us a few mins after calling in. I think the drivers Name was Mark. He was wonderful and great with being bombarded with questions from our kids. He even offered to help us air up our spare tire. 10 out of 10 recommended!!!
Jamie was fantastic! They towed my vehicle and kept me updated throughout the process. Since my vehicle’s parking brake was stuck, Jamie called to let me know they would use a dolly instead of dragging it to avoid any damage. They even sent me a picture of my car after dropping it off. Great service and communication! I’ll definitely use their services again if needed in the future.
Unfortunate to have my car broken down in the cold, but Bobby is very efficient and fast, got my car checked for battery and after figuring out that wasn't the problem have the car towed to the mechanic. The ride with him is also fun.
I want to give a big thank you and shout-out to Riley of Central Iowa Towing. Last night, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, part of this incredibly bitter cold snap we have been embroiled in, I received word from my eldest son that he needed me to come immediately to an address he was sending to me. His car was there and his keys were locked inside; meantime, he was hoofing it as fast as he could to an appointment across town while trying not to freeze to death. He had alerted AAA about his need for assistance--his keys were locked in his car--and they called Central Iowa Towing. My son needed me on the scene to meet the gentleman who would be helping to retrieve the keys. After about ten minutes or so I was very pleased to see the big tow truck turn onto the side street where I was waiting, and I flagged down the driver. He rolled down his window and asked if I was in need of an unlock, and when I said yes, for my son's car, he said he'd get turned around and meet me up in front of the car. This is how I met Riley, a very friendly young man, who knew exactly what needed to be done to retrieve those car keys. He had a long zippered kit that contained a variety of tools and mechanisms which he used in combination to literally pop the driver's side car door open. I located the keys in the ignition, removed them, and then provided my ID to Riley upon his request so he could verify who I was for his records. I had my AAA card ready, too, but he didn't require it. We had a nice brief exchange; I was glad to see him in insulated coveralls and a stocking cap and gloves considering the dangerously frigid temperatures, and I thanked him profusely for his help in such a timely manner. All of this occurred between 7:15 and 8 PM, and combined with the darkness and cold, it seemed very late and very bleak, but Riley was cheerful and took good care of us. I love these people! We have needed tows an unfortunate number of times since moving to the area. Each time they are prompt and kind. Today, John was the servicer. When I told him what happened, he popped the hood to make sure it wasn't just a quick fix, like a loose cable, before towing it.
Hopefully I don't need a tow again, but if we do, I'll want it to be Central Iowa Towing.
Bobby was a saint- he was able to jump my car that was stalled in my garage that another local company was unable to do. He even waited to make sure my car was able to drive out of the driveway. I would use him again anytime and will recommend him to anyone.

A Roadside Rescue Tale
Broke down in the heart of Iowa with a Penske truck and trailer en route from TN to MN – talk about a traveler's nightmare! But fear not, for Riley from Central Iowa Towing and Recovery came to our rescue. Not only did Riley show up earlier than anticipated but his friendly demeanor and professional expertise turned what could have been a disastrous detour into a surprisingly pleasant experience. With Riley at hand our journey was back on track in no time. Kudos for prompt and courteous service. Plus the three-hour trek from the middle of nowhere Iowa to Minnesota felt like a breeze with Riley's expert navigation skills. If ever stranded in the middle of nowhere, Iowa again, we know who to call!
Bobby arrived less than 30 minutes after being called to tow my car that had a passenger-side rear flat tire. Instead of towing, he put air in my tire that allowed me to drive to repair shop, which cost less!! He planned to follow me to the shop to make sure I arrived, but when I was uncertain where the repair place was, Bobby led the way. He also put me in touch with a shop that got me in immediately. If you have to have car troubles, Bobby is the one to call! He went above and beyond to help me.
