We were stuck in a ditch and Wenzel happen to be passing by and stopped we didn't even call a tow company yet and he helped us It was a blizzard I was super surprised he stopped. We are so grateful. I'm not sure of the guy's name but he was AWESOME!!! 5 stars to him . You will be the first on my list to call for service if needed again
Nothing but good things to say the owner was on site quick and I will say that the guys in the purple trucks will not be on my call list

We cannot thank Jewel and his son enough for all the help they gave us when our 5th wheel's kingpin broke and we could not haul it. They used a tow truck and flat bed trailer to haul it from a RV park in Wisconsin to the rv repair shop in Dubuque, Iowa. Their professionalism and kindness will never be forgotten.

GREAT EXPERIENCE Our RV broke down in Dubuque. They answered right away and had us towed to a shop very quickly. Very reasonably priced. Everyone we dealt with was really nice and happy to help.
Best towing company in the whole state of Iowa. they will treat you like family, if you find yourself in their jurisdiction and need a hand give them a call and they will take care of you.
I have dealt with these guys more than once, and they are the best in Dubuque. Recently, I got a flat, my insurance company couldn't find any "in network" trucks, due to a severe accident. They found a tow service that was out of network called, Sunrise Roadside Assistance. After an hour of no truck, they called me and said it would be another hour wait and an extra hundred dollars. That's when I called Wenzel, he informed me that Sunrise is a scam. They are not a roadside assistance, they operate out of a house somewhere. Someone in need calls them, they call an actual towing service, and charge way more than normal, and take their cut for doing absolutely nothing except making a call. Thank you, Wenzel Family Towing, for saving me from being scammed out of $300.
These guys helped me out of an embarrassing stalled car in a busy intersection incident while I was passing thru town. He took me and my car to a shop that repaired my vehicle and got me back on the road within an hour! THANK YOU!!

Jewel and his boy were very professional and towed me back home from Hannibal Missouri 250 miles away touch pricey but i really can’t complain it was 9* out colder than dirt 19 below when we got back to iowa

Around 7:30pm on Monday, April 11th I have witnessed your big semi wrecker speeding in the excess of 75mph on the hills of northbound Hwy 61, heading towards Dubuque dangerously passing other motorists, including my car.
With this information it should be pretty simple for your management to figure out who was driving this truck and make sure this will never happen again. Had I have my phone with me, I would have called police immediately.

Pretty sure it was a black semi truck. It had some kind of recovery lift/mechanism at the very rear. It took the exit right before the bridge.
Even without this info you should be able to find out if your driver was coming back from down south on 61 right at that time.
I was stranded because of a bad starter, I called around and Wenzel made me the best offer, they were here in 40 minutes and friendly, if you need a tow, you can count on them.
Not often there’s something positive to say when you’re an hour and a half from home and your car is disabled. Let me tell you Wenzel Family Towing is 1st class ALL THE WAY! So glad I called them. It was so awesome, being a woman, seeing a woman do what everyone only thinks is a man's job. She was fun. The rates were fair, and it was done in a very timely fashion.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! These guys took advantage of our situation and charged us double of what we were suppose to pay because they knew they had the advantage over us. They’re not fair at all and they will do anything to milk you out of your money. We dealt with the two owners (husband and wife) and they’re VERY rude and unprofessional. I’ve dealt with plenty of towing companies since I’m in the trucking industry and i can honestly say that this is the worst towing company I’ve dealt with. So if you have the choice to avoid this company I would tell you from personal experience to go with another company if you can because there are many better options.

AMAZING SERVICE!!! We bought a tractor online that was way too big to fit on our trailer. As I write this with great joy this evening, it is Saturday, the day before Easter today and they didn't hesitate to help us out, regardless of the Holiday weekend. We called Wenzel Family Towing this morning at 8am and with in a couple of hours, our tractor had been picked up and brought to our front yard, which was an hour away, a total of almost 200 miles round trip. He secured the tractor very securely and we had absolutely no worries nor concerns. He made our day and helped us complete our task that we had been fighting so hard to complete for almost a week in just a couple of hours and on the spot, no waiting at all. Seriously, we wish we would have called them sooner. If your looking for a great service to tow your tractors or implements, or anything else you need towed, you name it, they do it, this is the family to go to. Very professional, friendly and always willing to help. They were fast and they have great competitive rates. My husband is so happy to have his "new" vintage tractor home.
