Every repair I have had has been fairly priced and explained to me thoroughly. I’m experiencing a period of financial hardship and without knowing, they took checked over my car today and made sure they weren’t preemptively fixing something that would put me back before I needed to.
I always hear back in a timely manner as well. It is so easy to get taken advantage of and I have dealt with some terrible mechanics in the past, but my car is in the best hands here. I highly recommend.
Needed a front wheel bearing on my Vibe. Turned out I needed both sides but they were nice enough to only charge for parts on the other side. Never given a break like that before. Super clean shop and great work with a bid of compassion mixed in. Would highly recommend !!!!
Auto Clinic My daughter's car was towed there and they told me the engine was blown. Turned out they couldn't fix because the motor had to be taken out from the bottom. I had to have the car to the dealer. For their time and trouble of finding out what was wrong, I was told there would be NO CHARGE. Nowadays you hold your breath and hope you don't get screwed over when you get your car repaired. There are not a lot of places that have as much honor and integrity as Auto Clinic.
Always great service and a fair price. Got our back brakes replaced and they still sounded a bit rough. Gave it a couple weeks to wear in but still not sounding good. Took the car back in and they were able to grind the rotors down right away and everything is going great! Definitely would recommend.
I'm from Las Vegas having a clicking noises when turning the steering wheel. It was a bad time rod they ordered the part in a couple days they replaced the bad one gave me a loaner. Said it would be fixed by noon it was and they re hallinan the front end and I was on my way. Very nice people
These guys are awesome. I take my SUV and Jeeps here regularly. As honest as the day is long which is the most important thing for me being a woman with limited knowledge of auto mechanics. They're very fair on price and get it done quickly. I'd recommend them to anybody who wants a competent mechanic who turns your vehicle around quickly at minimum cost. Oh, yes, cleanest garage EVER!
I blew a belt on my way to Chicago...talk about stressful!! Dale reassured me that I would be back on the road shortly! He fixed the belt, after tracking down what has to be the hardest to find belt EVER!!! Highly recommend this shop. It has got to be the cleanest most organized garage I've ever seen!

Have to shout out and recognize Auto Clinic in Downtown Chesterton. They service my company trucks and work on my Corvette and always have been fair and honest. i had an issue with my BMW and the dealership told me that the repair not under warranty would be over $700.00 Dale and Butch got it done in 15 minutes with some ingenuity and got the corroded sensors unstuck instead of replacing them. They are true mechanic's and not parts changers. The bill- $48.00, 1.25 of Penetrating oil, some heat and a little elbow grease. Use them with confidence!!!!!
I'm usually skeptical when I have to have auto repair done, after being burned a few times over the years. However, I can't say enough about Auto Clinic. Just had my '08 Trailblazer repaired here & I was shocked - the final bill was less than the orig estimate. I don't think I've ever had that happen before in my entire driving life. What's more, the mechanic (Dale, I believe) was kind enough, prior to the repair, to let me know if the "funny noise" I was hearing would prevent me from driving it. Even took time out of his day, during my pop-in visit, to put it on the lift to check it out. If he's not the owner, he certainly exudes an ownership mentality. I was extremely grateful for his knowledge & willingness to assist me so quickly, as I was planning to head out of town in my vehicle, which could have become a major problem.
I'm also in awe of the cleanliness of the shop - virtually spotless, seriously! A definite selling point on the decision to get work done here. Very happy w/the service, and thus far, the repair. Extremely thrilled to have found a new "home" to rely on for future repair needs.
