You say your open 24hrs a day. I've tried to call to check if your open and if you have a specific vehicle so that I can pic a part. NOBODY HAS EVER ANSWERED THE NUMBER YOU HAVE PUT ON . to call. Must be nice to have a business and have no need to pick up the business phone line. Business must be BOOMING..
Changing my review because the guy ended up being pretty nice. But didn’t like that I had to wait for the part to be pulled after talking with them for two days and driving over an hour for it. Still they delivered it to me after about 30 mins. Still got a 30 day warranty so not bad. I would shop again.
The staff is helpful here, but they are not able to investigate every query on a specific part's availability.
Most if not all the parts are listed with prices points via their website.
Go to the yard and get a list of vehicles that are compatible part wise walk to the location in the yard and check yourself if the parts you require are not picked.
Use your best judgement to determine if the parts salvageable will be viable or not.
Reached out to have my car picked up , no warning until 5 minutes before that they would not be able to make it. They rescheduled to Monday and then never picked up the phone. Not able to get in contact with anyone , no warning that they were closed on the day they reached out to me to confirm & schedule to pick up the car. But still expects to receive good business from people.
You have to find the right car on the lot and take the part you need off yourself. But they can help you figure out which cars have compatible parts. And how many of them are on the lot. When you need a part for a vehicle they are the cheapest option if you are willing to put in some labor for it. Taking a part off the junk car can give some insight into how to install it it your car, with less consequences for error. You can also sometimes find replacement interior parts that are hard to find new. I like the place and will continue to go there.
I didn't like the way that they did us they charged us 4.00 dollars to get in for 20 minutes being there and had to find the same truck to take starter off all in 20 minutes
This place takes catalytic converters!!!! They are the ones inciting the catalytic converters theft. There are many who live close by who steal converters and bring them here. I’ve mentioned them by name in two police reports
Came here to see why such low rating before I give them my business. Reading the owners responses to the reviews is the reason for my 1-star. I have never seen an owner of a company take such offense to his customers and potential customers. I dont get it smh. Your taking the time to respond and still choose to be rude and condescending. It almost seems fake. Its like a 12 year old and a few of his buddies logged in as the owner and responded. Lol.
Lady at counter was friendly, and helpful walked right where she said and there was the row of vehicles we were looking for. Prices was ok and they let you pull a buggy to haul tools and parts
Phone rings off the hook. May or may not get a answering machine to leave a message. Voice mailbox is always full. I don't want to sell a car, I want to buy parts..... NO phone number or information for that.......
Called Monday about selling my junk car. We agreed on a price and date and time to get it. The day came, and they never showed up. I called after them being about 35 minutes late and they said traffic. Given all the construction going on I understood and was ok with it.. After 2 hrs sitting around and waiting, I get a call from another towing company saying he was going to be another 45 minutes. Not once did I ever get a call from someone
Well i was in an emergency situation. And hurried to the address posted on the website. It was 15 mins till closing and i needed a tire and rim for my impala. But when i pulled up to what i believe was the correct spot the doors were locked.. I was sad becuase i wan a go home stuck here in indy for a longer then expected event i want to go home .. And now i see comments that ya dont even sale parts ect..

Long ago about 12 years ago I came here to buy parts but I guess they change it to where you can only sell your vehicle.
This place is a great place to call if you do not know what to do with your junk vehicles or car that's working but not drivable this place is nice because they will pick up your vehicle for free and they will offer you a deal that you can work with. Just to let everyone know even though that this place looks like a junkyard they do not sell parts they only buy vehicles.
Went here a long time ago and bought some parts. This place no longer sells parts. I did get what I needed years ago and some extra stuff I came across. Girl at the counter was very nice and prices were fair. No idea why they are still called pick a part due to the business model change; Im looking for body parts and thought 'hey this place was great last time I was there' and looked again. Its been probably 7-10 years. If its the same people as back then I had no issue with them or the service.
This is not the original pick a part that you think it is. This is a scammer that scammed the original pick a part out of their name. That's why pick a part is under a different name. U pull and pay. If this man will scam a big a company out of their name he definitely will scam you
Last year I got a part was wrong part went back to get right part and they charged me 3x more for it I have never had them do that before. not sure if I'll go back should be one price for what you pick but they charged me for each sepert part before then was a 5 star but know I'll give -1 star
I will follow up with an additional review after I receive my estimate later today. However, I think a lot of these bad reviews sound like they're reviewing a different location. THIS LOCATION DOES NOT SELL PARTS. THEY TOW AND PICK UP JUNK CARS ONLY. The gentleman that answered my call (there was no trouble getting through) was very polite and informative. I'm currently waiting to hear back now that I've submitted photos of my vehicle. Will follow up. Thanks Pick-A-Part!!
I came here to get reviews before calling and my 1 star goes because just by reading the owners response to alot of the comments I can tell customer service is lacking and I see it's starting at the top and trickling down. Very sad so what you are number 1 in Indy your primary concern should be to evaluate why so many people are saying the same thing and fix it not be condescending. I'm big on customer service and just reading the owner's response to 90% of the reviews is why I'll take my business elsewhere. But hey I'm sure you don't care because you number 1 in Indy!!
They have a number but no voicemail set up so you get hung up before anything happens. Why put a phone number if you cant call?? Yall been open for a good minute. Be willin to rate better if i could get ahold of someone.
I call the number listed on the website to ask for the price on a part and the guy that answered told me I have nothing to do with the parts and hung up on me before I could get another word out. I won't be going there. If I could give less than one star I would.
Asked the desk for interchange parts for my 2002 Saturn SL1 bumper, they have me a list of all the Saturn S classes and said that they will all work, get home and go to put it on and you guessed it, doesn't fit!
