Junk paid 500 for a motor it's junk doesn't have another, warrant runs out in 2 days but that's ok I'm going to small claims court in morning. Do not trust him. Wasn't even the motor we were supposed to get. Hung up on us today. Very unprofessional Nothing but lies. Didn't even deserve a star.
We had a great experience at Clayton’s auto parts! They quickly got to work to find the part and brought it back in the same urgent manner. Will definitely remember them next time I’m in a pinch
Great place to go for parts. Even when they don't have the part I need they are helpful in pointing me to someone who might. Knowledgeable staff if you have questions and are just starting to dabble in car work. I do, and will continue to, recommend this place as a great resource for the city.
they never have any car parts when needed!! But super out dated as far as they only take cash.. they say go to one person then another.. super unprofessional and if you have more bosses then workers it just don’t make to much since. Things was better 9 years ago but it has gone down hill since. Sad to see a community place be let go like it has..

My friend had called them about a part, which they said they had. I drive down to grab it, since he was working. After I arrived with cash in hand, they said there wasn't enough time to pull the part, but come back tomorrow. The sign on the door said they open early, so I got there just after that time; no workers. They really opened 3 hours later. When my friend drove down later, they hadn't even pulled the part- KNOWING we were coming for it- stating they don't pull until they're paid.
This place is a joke. I stood there for 10 minutes while the staff took other newer arrivals and ignored me. They aren't the best to deal with, their sign is incorrect for times, and the whole practice is trash.
I wouldn't use them again if they were the last pick a part place in Indy.
Worst experience ever. We went to Clayton's Auto Parts Inc to pick up a part we travel for two hours both ways to get there and home and when we picked the part up They told us that the part was good and it was not good. So needless to say there word is no good. We will never be giving them our business again. And for anyone considering giving them your business I would think twice about going to Clayton's Auto Parts Inc.
Not professional. Gave me the wrong part twice in the same week. & didn't even give me my money back so this place I would not & do not recommend to anybody. & they are very rude!!
Customer service may seem a little gruff to sensitive people, but they are just old-time car guys that are pretty helpful. It is up to you to do your searching, but on multiple occasions Clayton has given me small parts for free and just asks me to "please come back again". So for that, I will always go there first. I have also received some very helpful mechanic advice from them as well as referrals to other businesses that have saved me money.
