This is the best auto parts store not only in Columbus, but in the entire state of Indiana, for European auto parts. Dave has had this shop longer than I have been alive, has a wealth of knowledge regards euro cars more than anyone I have ever seen, and is all around a great guy. Columbus Import has the best prices around by far, and has tons of parts on hand. If he does not have it in stock, he can typically get you what you need by next day, sometimes two. I have been coming to Dave for years, and he is always my first stop for pricing, or questions. Truly one of the best gems in Columbus.
Broke down on the outskirts of town, went to 3 different parts stores before finally finding someone that actually knows about Audi & Volkswagen. These little spline keys are so hard to find, and for him to have a variety of them, and he wouldn’t accept payment for letting me borrow them. Need more businesses like his around Columbus! Started what I hope to be a lasting business relationship.
Been going to this part store with my dad since I was a little girl for VW parts. Been a few years since I’ve been in there now, but called up Dave today for some parts and he had exactly what I needed at a great price. Small personable shops like this just don’t exist anymore. A real hidden gem of a VDub shop!
Very knowledgeable man. Also has great access to Parts that no one else can get. And he charges an honest amount, even for parts, that seemingly don’t exist anywhere else. He can get them. He can get them quick. And he doesn’t price gouge for this ability. Very honest friendly man. I will definitely be doing business here in the future. He was able to get many Voltwagon Parts the others told me they could get, they excepted expensive charges for faster shipping, and then told me they were unable to get the parts, and that they were on back order after they were supposed to have arrived. Columbus import auto never even said the word backorder. They got the OE correct part with no issues at all. I found my main source of European and other import car parts!
Had exactly what I needed when I called when no other place did ! The Parts are priced right and are factory. Dave the owner is a very nice guy and knows his stuff!! Will go back for Vw parts again
The owner is very knowledgeable about VW and Audi cars. Being a new owner of Jetta, this is valuable to find out. Not your typical auto parts store. The owner carries used parts as well and they are on display inside.
Owner was very helpful and understanding. Also had a lot of answers for me about my vw. When he didn't have the answers who knew an experienced mechanic I could talk to.
Very helpful and willing to help me find a part that this store doesn't even carry. If I ever need a newer part, this is the store I'll be doing business with. Great customer service!!
Great place for your VW and Audi parts! The owner is very knowledgeable and is able to offer tips and tricks for your diy excursions. Parts prices are also comparable to online sites!
