Nice people to work with.

Haven't even used them yet, but they are the only place that will take an old refrigerator and dispose of it properly. So just for being damn helpful in that regard I gave em 4. Might upgrade em to 5 if they're decent people when I drop off this fridge. Idgad about getting paid for it, so the payout doesn't much matter to me. I am just appreciative that when my fridge died they will get rid of it. Nobody else will take it, and so they're doing me a solid.

Seems like they know their stuff, but sometimes it seems like I get shorted on my weight ..

Got weighed in and had to wait for the operator to warm up equipment then “clear a spot”. Hesitated to even get in there as the cost of two sliced tires isn’t worth a trailer load of scrap. Backed in then get told it’s the wrong spot. Can’t read the operators mind or understand prison hand gang signs as instructions. Ended up just pulling off and going to redball.

The entrance is a little rough but not too bad

Worst place ever to go to take your scrap I've been there they've ripped me off they used to be up there in New Albany down from the boat the casino and they ripped me off there too now they moved to overhear in New Albany to another location and they're still ripping people off do not take your medals to Riverside Meadows you will get ripped off it's not worth it they ripped my brother off they ripped me off I went to Red Ball recycling with the metal and stuff I've had and they've paid me twice as more That's the place to go

Worst place I've ever seen my husband took over 300 pounds of scrap up there in brass steel and copper they gave us our steel weight but said that each of our plastic grocery bags weighed two pounds so everything else was weighed less than a pound this place is a SCAM..........PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GO TO RED BALL WHERE THEY ARE HONEST AND ONLY 5 MINS AWAY

Very fast and easy. Get paid cash, not a check. Will definitely take my scrap here from now on.

Always a great place nice people

Very disappointed!! Showed up at 11:45am and was told we were too late and to come back Monday. Website says open til 12:00pm. Made 20min. Trip there for nothing. The employee that turned us away was staring at his cell phone while we were pulling off. And there was one customer there they had just finished with. There was no line and they were not busy. Considering take my scrap to other companies!!

This place is awesome the guys are friendly and out going if you need any kind of help they will help if you have copper, aluminum, or any kind of scrap or recycled materials this is the place to go I will be back

I'm glad NEW ALBANY has a Great place to scrap, easy in and out for the most part. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Great place to recycle & good people to deal with.

A little rough on an old woman. Cart was heavy and lot was rough. Cash out was at the opposite end of the parking lot

First time there and everyone was friendly and professional. They explained everything to me and made me feel at comfortable.

Very efficient operation and friendly staff who are very helpful.

I am a novice scrapper who has learned a lot from Ron, TJ and Tyler at River Metals. They are some of the hardest workers in the area and took the time to help me identifying metals, especially brass and aluminum. All the employees are professional, helpful and I feel, honest. That bloody money machine gives me fits, but it is what it is. If you are thinking about a side hustle give scrapping a chance at River Metals. I like bringing coffee but the outside crew doesn't like coffee, maybe those energy drinks. Again, it's an enjoyable experience.

Totally left off my aluminum cans. I didn't look at my receipt until I got home, because I left my glasses at home. I had 5 -50 gallon bags worth of semi-crushed cans. If they correct their mistake, I'll change this review. I'll post what the outcome was. Update: I was told that Mix-up was due to Covid-19. Cans were on a separate receipt. Due to the error, I had to drive back to pick up money for 50lbs of cans. I was notified very quickly by management and compensated for my troubles. I've never seen such a quick response before, but it was good to know that the company took measures to make things right. Update... Second visit was another rippoff. I will not be back. Is just assume to throw my recycle material away, than take it to a place the person operating the scales sees fit what to give you. I took in about 50-60lbs of#2 copper wire. Receipt showed 19.60lbs Circuit boards were about 80-90lbs. Showed 19.60lbs. I see how they are able to but out the composition now. I will never be back...

Will not go back couldn't drive over the scale had to unload by hand what on them to take it to scale then get a ticket and then go to office. And $50 a ton not worth it
