I’ve used Blue Eagle before and didn’t have an issue but this last time was a different story. I called around 5 pm to get a quote and was told it would be after hours and there would be an additional fee, I told them I would call back if I decided to get it towed. My car was coming from a mechanic that could not do the job back to my house. I never called them back to confirm the pickup, I just decided I would get it towed in the morning. I get a knock on my door at 10:30 pm and it’s the driver with my car on the tow truck in my driveway. He told me that if I couldn’t pay it would be impounded, that’s crazy. Luckily I was able to pay for it, but what if I didn’t have the money? The driver was very nice and I understand it’s not his fault, he’s just doing what dispatch told him to do. He did get them to take the after hour fee off.
This is the most unprofessional establishment-due to their operator- I have ever had the displeasure of working with.
My car was wrongfully towed on a Saturday evening by a company downtown (thats another review for another day).
I called blue eagle to ask if they had my car, through heaving sobs.
The "operator" on the other end scoffed at me when I told her I was confused because I was given permission to park there and I didnt know why this happened. She then said, "well you shouldn't park in stupid spots then". I asked her how much this would cost me and when I could pick up my car. She told me it would cost me 205$ and that they can release the car monday morning. I said thanks and hung up.
Flash forward to monday morning. We get there at 8am, only to be told they are CASH. ONLY. we could've gotten that over the weekend had we been told. It is also NO WHERE on their website they are cash only. The way she spoke to my husband when he picked up the car was reprehensible.
Now as I look over my receipt I was charged for storage (80$ for the weekend, 5$ for gas, 20$ for after hours, amd then 100$ for flatbed usage).
I would never use this company for emergency services after being treated this way by their operator. While I understand they were hired by the other agency to do this service, it does not change the fact that their patrons deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
I wish I could give less stars for this interaction with her.
Justin who works for Blue Eagle Towing towed my Jeep on a flat bed and he was very nice and professional. I appreciate the care he took in loading and securing it as well as unloading it. I would surely use this company again.
After paying extra for a tow to not be there with the key, the driver showed up and demanded the key from my wife. Told another driver since I want there he was going to jam a screw driver I to the lock tumbler and bust the lock so he could get it to turn over and get the car into neutral. Even after my wife gave him the key he couldn't shift the car and started doing everything wrongly to tow my vehicle. Told my wife he had to keep the key even though there wasn't anyone to give the key to at the destination so my wife was forced to follow this jabrone across town to drop my car off..... This place never used to be this unprofessional but they're obviously hiring anyone they can find to put into a truck just so they can bill you for towing your vehicle. IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! USE AS A LAST RESORT IF YOU HAVE TO BUT OBVIOUSLY AT YOUR OWN RISK! ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND TOTALLY RIDICU!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.. They drove my truck to their facility and tried to charge $2500 dollars for absolutely nothing. Put a flat bed fee and rotator fee on the invoice which they didn't even use. Then when we called to try and question it they said we "Insulted them" absolute low life's of people at this facility...
Last night I got off work at 11 pm. I work 3rd shifts. My truck would not start and I had no way of getting home to my family. I called Blue Eagle and had service right away. With in 10 minutes a driver named Art was there and helped me get my truck back up and running!! He was very knowledgeable and respectful. I will be calling them anytime I need help!!!
Tyrell with Blue Eagle did a great job towing my car. I was stuck at a driverthru window, and my car was locked in park. He got me out of there quickly and efficiently. I'm very grateful.
Absolutely incredible experience in a bad situation. DJ came out to tow my vehicle quickly and kept me in contact with timing updates the whole time. He was extremely helpful in what was wrong with the my vehicle and jumped it for me as well. He was so kind and trustworthy I’d call him anytime I’d need a tow! Definitely made an inconvenient situation much better. 10/10
Mike our driver was kind respectful professional and awesome but that’s about all the nice things I can say about this company. A “50 minute” tow to quote them directly. took 2.5 hours for our driver to arrive, the auto shop we arrived at wouldn’t take the car and told us to go to belle tire which was at the other end of the parking lot. The car was still on the bed, truck engine still running, and we were charged an additional $50 for a 3 minute drive across the parking lot. Dispatcher was incredibly rude and hung up on me. I’ll never use blue eagle again. Nightmarish. Mike was cool tho.
Sick and tired of the way these guys drive. They are constantly doing 10mph+ over the speed limit and drive super aggressively. This guy was going 10mph over on Ardmore by Portage Middle School. There was another driver in a RAM flat bed a few months back that was doing almost 60mph up the hill where Ardmore turns into Hiligas just to get ahead of everyone. A few weeks before that there was one of their largest trucks doing 15mph+ over the speed limit going down Coliseum hoping lanes driving super agressive, dude about caused a huge milti-car accident. I even saw one of them wrecked in a ditch over the winter with a car on the bed. I have called multiple times and nothing seems to have been done. One of them is going to kill someone eventually with how they drive. Do yourself a favor and avoid them if at all possible and make sure you call in and report their driving before someone gets hurt.
Art is awesome. He showed up extremely quickly and got my vehicle loaded up and on its way. Art was very friendly and made the whole situation a lot easier and less stressful.
A driver showed up unscheduled to get my totaled vehicle when an appointment for the following day had previously been set up. He ignored the appointment time and tried to bully his way into taking the vehicle even though I hadn’t had a chance to clean it out. He was extremely rude to me and my mother who was at the house at the time with my children. Avoid this business at all costs.
Didn't catch the guy's name, but whoever came out to jump my bike at 4 in the morning was great. Friendly, great service, good knowledge, and came an hour and a half faster than progressive said he would.
Had a blowout on Moeller and was quoted about an hour wait. Driver showed up in 15 minutes. My car was loaded very professionally and quickly. I will absolutely be using Blue Eagle the next time I need a tow.

My car stalled leaving Fort Wayne so I gave them a call for a tow. It took about an hour for someone to arrive - called around 8pm. The following morning I did notice oil or something all over my driver's seat door panel though.
Called to have my tire changed guy didn't have the tool so I got towed 3 mins down the rd. I was still charged for a tire change which wasn't done! He scraped my bumper going on and off the truck so I came out $85 less, still a flat tire and a scratched up bumper. The office lady was rude and condescending and would barely let me speak. Customer service sucks and I wish I never would of called this company! Honestly dont even deserve 1 star!
Called for a tow very professional on the phone ask for address telephone number they would be there in between 12 and 1pm they called back and they could get me in at 10 AM so I was excited about that. The gentleman came very courteous and polite. Ask questions what was going on he helped me jump my car it started so I could drive it myself without being towed so that is a ++ for me. (He was problem solving on site.) I think that show a lot about a company..
I had a tire blow out this evening. Called the service team, they were very informative and connected me quickly with someone that was able to get to me quickly for help. I was outside the standard service area, but a technician was there at the scene within 25 minutes. The communication throughout the process was great. The service team and technician were outstanding. Thank you so much for coming to the rescue. Appreciate the service and the great people that helped me out this evening.
Do not use as they will bring the wrong equipment and damage your car. Unfortunately, we had a less than stellar experience with this towing company on a Saturday afternoon. It is evidenced in the improper handling of the vehicle in the photos and video attached which resulted in body damage. Our mechanic shop called to have our car towed because a repair they had just completed that day failed on the drive home. Blue Eagle towing was sent out by the shop to collect the vehicle and return it to the shop. Blue Eagle did not bring the proper equipment to tow a car with a ball joint failure. They did not bring out any skates, instead, they attempted to jack the car up and yank it onto the flatbed a little at a time (see clips of 6 minute video with air jack sounds). Additionally, they had the car owner sign a damage waiver when what they should have done is have the auto shop signed the damage waiver because the tow was scheduled by the auto shop. They might as well have had a random passersby sign a damage waiver. Blue Eagle should have called the shop back and let them know that they did not have the capabilities to properly tow the vehicle without damage.
Drove my sons older model vehicle to work when the engine started making noises. Contacted blue eagle towing since they were the 1st towing company on google. Initially they dropped my car off at the wrong house…really?!? No call or confirmation of the drop off. Contacted them, the contacted the driver, and my vehicle eventually got dropped off to my home but not before he damaged my parked equinox in the driveway. Mind you I don’t drive the equinox. It still has snow on it from the storm we had a couple of weeks ago.
Do Not use this company, it’s not worth the headache. I hade to contact them, my insurance, and file a police report on the Hit and Run done to my vehicle… and he left my vehicle on! The radio was still on draining the battery because he turned the key past the off position. Never again!
This company is TOP NOTCH! We had a mishap with a car coming off the car dolly we were renting one wheel landed in the middle of the Dolly while the other was in the wheel well. When we called at around 7:30pm, we were asked to send pictures of the situation. Then we were told they could get someone to us but it would be a little wait….A couple guys from Blue Eagle came to our rescue! We couldn’t have asked for a better company! VERY professional, caring people who definitely knew what they were doing! Thank you so very much!
