The parts are over prices and the call line is horrible. The parts sight is not very through and if you call to check availability you won't get an answer they just say check the website

I love the antiques in the lobby! They have a service guy that will take the part off for you after verifying the vehicle. You can do it yourself but some people don't have tools and on balling on a budget. Great place and prices.

Pricing is high for a junk yard. Took my son with me a week ago, they allowed him in, today they said he couldn't go in, he is 15 years old. Rockauto is the way to go from here on out. Waste of a drive and time.

This review is based on the first time customer service. As a customer I walked in this place never have I been in a LKQ/picknpull establishment and was treated this poorly by the staff. Out of the three people I interacted with the first person I believe his name was Steve he said helped me with what I needed then Steve kept asking another employee who was wearing a fatigue army/hinting jacket with a steering wheel cover around his neck for help he clearly and loudly sad he not helping n he don't know or care I think this was the worst ever and they shouldn't be working at all I was almost going to leave then I asked Steve again can we try to find the part he helped n did all he could so then we located the part I left the tool I needed and a young man helped me out n said it's ok you can come back in don't worry about anything he allowed me to come back in after getting the correct tool. The one star is for the poor interaction I received and if I got treated like that for my first time I could only imagine how the person in the jacket with the steering cover around his neck treated other people and his co-workers 5star for Steve and the other guy. I hope the higher ups look at the video and do something about the other guy he has terrible customer service 11/2/2025

This is a well organized business. Walked in, told them what I was needing. They found 3 matches, printed off the locations where the vehicles were located in the yard. Easy access to retrieve the parts and was out of there in 20 minutes. Price of the parts more than reasonable.

One star? Seems drastic, right? There was a time when you would go here to get deals on good used parts, LKQ has done away with that. Several years ago I noticed that it was almost cheaper to buy parts new than buy from LKQ, I stopped going to LKQ. Today I went there thinking that a Civic radiator would for sure be cheaper than buying new...I was wrong. Yes the parts price was less but when you factor in at least 2 hours out of your day for driving and then pulling the part, not to mention the "warranty" that gets automatically added on it is cheaper to buy online. This particular trip the upper radiator support rang up over $30, it's $37 new, shipped. Initially the total was ~$60 then when I said I didn't want the warranty it went up to $90. I walked out leaving my parts on the counter, I didn't wait for an explanation. Back just 6 years ago this yard was full of people, now with the way Corporate runs it (no phone number, shady "warrantee" charges, etc.) there was only a few cars in the parking lot. Even 4 years ago you couldn't take a leak behind a car without someone passing you, now you could rub one off on the hood of a car and not have a care in the world. I almost forgot, that particular Civic...the cooling system was still full of coolant. IC 13-30-2-1 was violated when I pulled the hose off only to have a gallon of coolant come out, maybe with all of the cash Corporate is making off of their 15 customers per day they can pay that fine.

The outdoor tire changers for customers are falling apart, not securely fastened to concrete due to broken bolts. The units are so worn that they are barely useable and someone is going to get hurt using them. They need replaced!!

Came for a power seat. Brought tools and a jump pack so I could test the power seat and move it if needed to get to the bolts. Told I could not take the powerpack in, only a hot wired battery pack. Could I pull a seat out and plug it into my car to ensure it works? "No. To remove the seat" - if I can get one out - "is an additional $22 for a warranty (seat would be about $75)." Absolutely refused to allow a power up before removal, not allowed to plug it into my car without first spending extra $22 for even a 5 minute warranty to test in my car. I aksed if they had a cordless tool battery already hot wired? No. How about if they accompany me while I hook up my power pack? No. Guy at the counter was nice enough, though not exactly apologetic. Told him I knew he didn't make policies, but this was BS and I would take my business elsewhere. With a bit of understanding he said 'I get it'. On top of this they want to charge cash just to browse. Total price for a seat with warranty was just under $100 pretax. Businesses forget they are not the only game in town and the customer holds the money. As promised, I took my business elsewhere. Pauls Auto yard on Brooklyn to be exact. I called and got a person on the phone immedatelly. PYP does NOT have a local number to call. The only person their 800 number allows you to talk to is a call center in India whose only purpose is to give a quote on selling a car to PYP. Try all the prompts and try to get a human - you can't. I tried. So I drove a few minutes down the road to Pauls, paid $53 OUT THE DOOR with a 7 day warranty. Exactly half what PYP would have charged me. So yeah, would not recommend. This company does not treat people like they much care if they get you cash. I was happy to honor that.

Mumbling old man takes pictures of your parts and runs them through Google Lens to figure out what to charge you. Told him the vehicle it came off of and what the part was but did not matter because "He hasn't seen one like this before" and "He has been doing this for 10 years". Rang up a cooling fan relay as a miscellaneous item labeled "igniters" and put some arbitrary value on it based off what he saw non similar parts for sale for on Google. Charged me 4x the cost of what it should be rung up as and what I've paid for this same part before at LKQ then tried to justify it by saying how the part he searched on Google was showing to be $100 and told me how great of a deal I was getting. Avoid this location.

Watch out for the 90-day warranty! They charge you for it without even asking if you want it! Charged me an extra $12.00 for a $39.00 headlight and $11.10 for a $35.00 grill!!! Now, why in the hell would I need a warranty on a grill and a headlight??? And the 1 time I had to use the warranty, they said it wasn't theirs!!! Even though it had the mark on the inside that they made when i bought it! It would've been cheaper getting original parts from amazon!!

Tryed to call to get a price on a part that was not listed in explained to the lady on the phone that the price wasn't listed she told me several times to go to the web sight I kept telling her it was there then I told her I'm not driving 30 miles to get a price then she hung up on me I won't ever go back there I'll find a different place to go even if I have to drive farther away...DONT RECOMMEND GOING HERE

Don't trust them I spent $400 on a transmission that didn't work and they wouldn't Honor the 90 day warranty. Because I can't find my receipt seed even though they have the receipt in their computer. And there's button button. The day approximate tranny is still on it. They told me i'm out of luck bullshit

Totally incompetent employees!! They posted an Expedition showing perfect condition running boards that are RARE! I called TWICE before driving 2 hrs one way to verify they were still available. When I got to vehicle the payloader had destroyed one of the boards! Glad I didn't give them entrance fee first!! Con artists!!!! Last visit to any LKQ ever!!!

Your prices are RIDICULOUS. No, there is NO reason why I should have to pay $70 for an interior dash panel. None. And you charge $3 to get in and have the audacity to have my tool bag checked? If you are reading this as a potential customer, let me give you a few pointers: 1. When you go to check out, make sure the older guy doesn't ring you up, he will OVERCHARGE YOU on everything. He tried to charge me $35 for a coil spring. A used coil spring is not worth $35. You can get one for maybe $10 at Paul's in better shape. 2. Don't expect them to honor prices listen online. $35 for a 1/2 seat? Forget it, you'll pay more. 3. I once went there reading that it was open until 5pm, got there at 2 and they said it was closing at 3 or 4, I don't remember exactly when. That trip was a while ago. The only reason I ever go here is if it's the only place that has a part that I want. Hint- "WANT" not "NEED". I may as well just wait for another yard to get the part. Otherwise, it's a clean yard. That's the only real pro going to this place. Two stars out of five, not worth the drive.

If you get a rear TV they charge you for a TV with GPS. You will pay almost 90.00 after part fee,core,tax,environment, 90 warranty fee. You mite be better off going online to ebay or dealer for part. Sad bc I liked this place but with charging for a part you didn't get bc they don't have prices for just TV knowing they have vehicles come in with just TV for DVD player (just screen). I think they need to update their parts and prices.

I am an ASE Certified technician. I have bought and sold with LKQ for 14 years. The staff was fine and facility was decent but parts are cheaper new. I grabbed a bumper today and stripped it down but at check out I was charged separately for each grill. I ripped them out and left them. Itemizing everything down to sprayer nozzles, hoses and harnesses on a hood may have been my last straw with LKQ. Check online before you go. Prime delivers next day most often. Your time is valuable and to strip things down to lkq’s content just to rebuild them is a waste of profitable time. It takes more time and money along with lowering the quality of an item due to too much tampering.

Don’t go to this Take A Part they look up prices on their phone and then charge you the most price that cost more than items on Amazon or the web. They’re very rude and always talking about someone stealing parts and searching your bag. I have videos and they do not have all the correct posters up about the prices for the motors that started at 399 like every other LKQ pick up part I have a video of that also, they do not have the posters to let you know the prices ,so they can overcharge you The worst Take A Part ever including a little rude guy Lee in the front and the older guy who always overpricing you charge me for A Part and I corrected him show him the web price and he said he never wrote it up that way, but it says right on their website, the price and the detail. Charged me for the whole back seat when I only got the lower half here is my proof ..

Been going to this place for years buying parts and have usually got pretty fair service up until the last year or so it has went downhill. The icing on the cake was a couple days ago when I pulled a wheel off a 2007 Pontiac G6 and priced checked it before bringing it up front. Website shows $34.99 for the polished aluminum wheel plus $15 for core if you don't have it and $15 for warranty and environmental fees on top of that. So, I'm figuring $50 since I had my core plus fees. The grumpy guy that's been working the register tried telling me a polished wheel plus having to dismount tire was going to be $105 plus the $10 for dismount. I tried showing him what the website said and then the other guy working came over and got crappy talking about environmental fees. I was prepared to pay the fees and dismount but told them it doesn't add up to $115! They wouldn't even look it up or look at what the website said when I pulled it up on my phone. I sadly had to leave the wheel, but I went to Paul's Auto and got the exact same wheel for $45 with my core for exchange. I can't believe what LKQ has turned into but I think I'm pretty much done with them unless they start treating customer's differently. I will never pay $115 for an old 17inch G6 wheel either that I had to find and pull myself.

Horrible service and pricing. Staff did not assist in movement of items to ring out and was charged for 2 seats when I only purchased one! Buyers beware! Shop a Pauls salvage yard in Waynedale. A much better experience for customer service and pricing!

Horrible experience!! I even told them it was my first time there. When I called the lady I spoke with was very nice and told me the door was going to be $30. I tried explaining that to them but they were rude and told me I couldn't have called them. He said they have a call center. So I asked do they have your inventory and he said yes so I said same thing then right? He agreed and was just being rude! So we had to pay 6 dollars to get in. We go get the door which had no mirror on it. So we take off another one from the same kind of car. We get to the counter and they tell me it's $160. 100 for the door. And 30 for the mirror. They wouldn't give me the mirror even though the one was gone from the door we got. They were rude and told me there was no way I could have been told it was only 30 dollars. They said maybe for the unit. Whatever that means. So I only got the door. And they also add fees which I was never told about either!!!! Will never return!!

I’m from Oklahoma and I travel for work. I go to pick and pulls all over the United States. This is the absolute worst one I’ve ever been to.. I go I take an entire sync radio out of a ford fusion which can’t screw together til it gets into car so there’s 3 pieces even though if you buy it online they come together. Well this place will charge you each one separate because it ain’t put together. Even tho you can’t screw them together til they go in car. Worst place ever. I didn’t pay for it I spent 3 hours taking it out and the whole wire harness just to leave it. Worst pick and pull ever. Don’t go here. Prices are crazy anyways

I've visited this location several times in FW; I'm not sure if I'll go anywhere else. Mainly because I haven't heard of other places that have a similar selection or online setup. Their selection is pretty big, and I absolutely love that they implemented a digital presence. This is where a lot of businesses fall behind; it's 2024, and a digital presence is the first impression for a lot of people searching for car yards. Most of the population has a smartphone; being able to go on their website and look for parts is awesome. The best thing about their online tools is that you can find the row/location of specific makes or exact vehicles. It makes finding parts/cars so convenient! I do recommend going on dry days, it can get very muddy here. It's not a huge issue if it's a light rain, but I've gone here when some parts of it are flooded and it's not always the best time but that's nothing against them. I was aware of what I was walking into. Wear the appropriate clothing and you'll be good! Keep providing the best tools and resources for your clients!

Not the most helpful staff. They couldn't really answer any of my questions. Was in the yard browsing. Saw a pickup tailgate panel that I've been wanting but didn't have the tool to disassemble it. Came back the following morning, asking about this particular truck. The woman said it was not yet available, but maybe in the next day or two. Why not just let me take the panel, pay you for it and be on my way?? It would have taken a whole minute to get. I just thought that was kind of ridiculous. Also, for a junkyard, prices are high.

Tried calling Fort Wayne Indiana yard to get part and price. When you call the recording tells you to h go to their website. The website is supposed to have list and price. After putting in all info year, model,type and then part. Comes back nothing in yard? Put in different part same answer. Put in multiple different parts and nothing. Called again this time went to sell vehicle. Lady answered, not the Fort Wayne Yard..told her what I wanted she told me I had to go through website. Told her what I did and what happen. She said to leave yr out just put in chevy truck and look at inventory list. Will that give me parts and prices? She said no just vehicle. So I can't get get list and price of parts for type of vehicle I need.she said no. I live 40min away? Well I must be doing something wrong on the website. Waste of time I'll go to other yards that can afford better web designers or people that can answer phone to help customers.
