they always give pretty fair prices you are not going too get every penny out of every item it is a pawn shop at the end of the day but i would give it 5 stars because of customer service

Been here a few times, but actually sold something of my own today and was a lil nervous to do it but the employees, especially Amy ?, made it all a very easy process. Got a great price on the item I sold. I will definitely be back there.

I Paid $1232.96 for a female wedding ring set and 3 weeks later the biggest diamond fell out. I am now stuck with a ring set that is useless and you might as well say i threw money away.

This Pawn shop if that is what you call it. Well there very rude and unfriendly to most everyone who comes in to there store. If they know you well it shows. It's obvious they have there picks. I've been to the location and felt very uncomfortable with the entire experience. I will only return if I could not go any other pawn shop. Thanks.

Updating due to new year and newer workers. Upon entry, we were not greeted. For 20 minutes we had no one come over to ask if we needed help or just to check in with us. The men behind the counter were talking and cursing very loud. I walked to the jewelry section where a woman was, and was still ignored. The establishment use to be neater, but now it looks like a junk shop. Disappointed in how low its came from 5 years ago.

You have a good business and reputation. I’ll spend my money and buy things here every chance I get. I’m disappointed that other people say bad things about your business. I’m saying that you have a good broker running this place.

Typical for pawn shops but longer they have been open the less they care about public and give people less and less and charge more and more.. This place goes the extra mile to take advantage of someone's bad situation. Case and point after loosing my job i found myself in a bad situation and took a $1,500 JL Audio 5 channel was $1,500 and up everywhere online max they give was $125 and was no budging on that amount on it at all.....

Make sure you test everything in store. They sold me a broken ps4 and then when I asked if I could exchange it they said no because it’s broken and they won’t buy it. They are Hilarious

This place caters to Methican Americans, they’ll offer you next to nothing for stuff you’ve paid hard earned money for and act like you owe them a favor… not only that but they love to treat you like a third rate citizen but treat obvious meth heads like kings… Stay away if you can.

This people will low ball you so dam herd its not funny my wife tike a 120$ fishing rod in and a 140 fire stick in for a TV and all thay cold do is 40$ like really thay will low ball you so dam herd so if your reading this don't go to them at all and if I had it my why I will put them out of business and thay Supposed to do 30% of what the item is worth but thay dont

Purchased a HP laptop for $199.77 said on the label it states it's a 128GBSSD. It was real slow so I took it to computer solutions they stated it was not 128GBSSD but an HHD not SSD a lot slower when I took it back they offered me 60% of what I paid I said no I want my money they said no so now I will take them to small claims court they think I won't ? just wait.

No matter what you bring in, especially to carbondale, the entire chain has this shtick where they ask what you're looking to get out of your item, then give you 25 percent or less of the retail value regardless. So why even bother to ask save to promote a false sense of value. Would rather any smaller pawn broker than this chain of thieves. Who don't offer a receipt when you sell your items to them. Just that you can take a picture. No itemization. Makes the he said she said easier so they can defend themselves.

Went and bought an amp from this place they tell you to aunt works fine you get to Aunt you’re right or shut off text Aunt back I told you didn’t exchange it for something that I want to buy it back in charge of a difference in something the same price as you paid for the amp Very unhappy with the service

BEWARE!!!! I recently purchased some firearms buying them outright. As it is a new law to hold firearms for 72 hours after doing your background check upon me picking up my firearms on one of my riffles there was a missing clip. I called to inform them of my missing item only to be told “I’m pretty confident that riffle didn’t come with an extra clip” I responded that the extra clip was one of the reasons I chose the riffle. He was in denial that I had a missing clip. Then he asked if there was anything else he could help with. To carry my firearms out of the store in safety I purchased some cases that weren’t in the best of shaped to only find out they were sold to me full price as in store. I asked him about it and he said they sell the cases for half price and I told them they were sold to me as if they were brand new. The guy was useless. UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR ITEMS MESSED WITH AND STOLEN FROM YOU DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I spent a lot of money with them but they will not get my or my family’s business anymore!!

They will sell you something that is broke. Then they will want to escort and or call the police on you when you take it back and voice your opinion. Also the employee that sold you the broke thing will clock out and fight you instead of making it right.

This Pawn shop used to be amazing for finding great deals on hard to find items. The staff was always friendly, attentive, and kind. However sometime early 2020 I noticed that there was a complete change in both the management and staff of the store and honestly I can't believe just how fast this location has gone down hill. Anytime I go in there now I'm met with blank confused stares by the employees or I'm completely ignored. None of the new staff seems particularly knowledgeable or experienced. I'm truly saddened by the sorry state of this once great pawn shop it's clear there's a severe lack of leadership present.

You use to have excellent service now I am ignored all the time. I also know most if not all the marion staff is on drugs. I have literally seen crumbs falling from noses. I go and wait and stand there and get ignored and I see this happen to many people

Midwest Cash is the best-operated chain pawn stores in Southern Illinois. Every time I've needed some extra cash or had an item to sell, Midwest has always treated me fairly and with respect. I highly recommend. Thank you for what you do.

I just wanted to sell a item last week and was confronted by a short, chubby, pale-skinned young lady. Not friendly and very rude. Said that you do not take smartwatches, and to leave. Acted as though she did not want to take the time to answer questions.

The only gentleman that would even pay me any attention at the counter after standing there for five minutes, kept turning his back while eating his sandwhich behind the counter. I asked about a step ladder. He walked outside, said it was $89 dollars. I inspected it and said that it was heavily worn. He walked off and got into his car and proceded to leave. It was a very strange encounter.

Went to sell some items I had received as a gift. New blu Ray dvds. I had been into this business to sell them things before. As the young lady went to write up my ticket I was informed that my account had been blocked by management. A man named Danny came to the counter and insinuated that I had stole these items, Saying that he had gotten a call from Walmart being told people have been stealing dvds. I WILL NEVER do business at this pawn shop AGAIN! Treating customers like criminals Is no way to do business!!!

My son went here to pawn his laptop for a few bucks to hold him over after he just got out of the army. They dented it and wouldn’t help pay for it. I’m a witness that he just bought this thing brand new and didn’t have any damage to it at all. So if they treat veterans like this who’s to say how they treat normal customers. Will never do business with these people and you shouldn’t either!

Went in to sell some stuff today and I was told I was banned for giving them a bad review on the internet. they don't give you a pawn slip when you renew it ,they just give you a receipt with no information on it it's very confusing. if you're going to use a pawn shop don't use these guys very dishonest very disappointed in service. I will never do business again with these guys I recommend you don't either!!!!!!!!! they also smoke right by the door and I brought my autistic son in there who's not supposed to be around smoke last time I checked the smoking had to be 15 feet away from the entrance manager you need to check yourself

Store has wonderful staff. We love buying Black Hills Gold here. We found a wonderful cross and men's ring!

If I could give zero stars I would. I walked in with my Vox mini G2 and the guy behind the counter quoted it new for $80 bucks, Yet the model I had was bought new for almost twice that. I made it aware to the sales associate that they had made a mistake and did not enter the correct information and that they were looking at a different product. The only reason why I hadn't even considered selling it was because me and my family were completely out of gas traveling to Florida to get home. I had let the man know my situation and they still tried to tell me that the price they previously quoted me was the correct one, so I pulled out my phone and showed them. The sales associate did it like being proved wrong so he told me instead of $18 he be willing to do $15. I told him that's not how that works, they stayed firm on the price even after I had brought up their error. I am absolutely disgusted and out raged that anyone would try to make a Buck on a family that is living out of the van and trying to get home before the holidays.

It's a nice enough pawn shop but beware of the female workers cuz they WILL cheat you regardless of your gender. The men working are awesome and fair so I give the place 4 stars. Would be 5 stars but the dark haired female workers is rude and doesn'ty give you a fair deal like the men. For the best experience deal only with the men.

Have the dates wrong in the system. They put my beats pill out before 4 months was up. Said I got the loan in July but didn't get it till August. And I can see if it was just one piece of paper but the dates are wrong on my receipt from yesterday.
