I had complete engine failure in my 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 (6.2L). I contacted Abe the day after it happened to explain the issues I was experiencing. Just by the symptoms I explained, he already knew the root of the problem. I felt reassured to pursue having Bob's Imports fix this for me. From start to finish, the communication was exceptional. I was told best and worst case scenario pricing and I was able to see my truck torn apart to see broken pieces inside the engine. In a bad situation with my vehicle, Bob's Imports made me feel like they went above and beyond and made this as painless as possible. 5+ stars & HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!
Very bad business. Sold my daughter a bad car. 2 days after purchasing it. Check engine light on. Took it back. They erased the codes. And said it was no issue. 3 days later my daughter drove it to work. Broke down on the highway.
Engine stopped. Had it towed to a shop. Catalytic converter had been altered and engine bad. I called and they said they would not help us. So basically we thru $7000 dollars in the garbage for a week. Who has that kind of money to thro down the drain. All my daughter s life savings.
The mechanic we took it to At a Kia dealership Stated they knew it was a lemon. I wouldn't trust buying ANYTHING from this shade tree lot!!!
If you are considering getting a car from here and you are a young adult do your research on the car you’re looking at and look at the car thoroughly.. Got my car a little over 2 years ago and this has been the worst experience I have had with a car. They listed the car for way more than what it was worth and 3 days after getting the car my engine light turned on, when I brought it to them because I was a issue prior to it being in my possession I was told “it’s a used car, it’ll have problems” which is not an excuse, they also sold me a car with THREE oil leak… now I’m trying to get rid of it and the detailer told me there is super glue holding vinyl together, electrical tape where there isn’t supposed to be along with many other things … now looking back as I am dealing with the things I have and how it all played out I feel like me being a young and by myself I was taken advantage of and I wouldn’t recommend this this place at all
Very nice people, but make sure you get the car looked at before you buy it or buy an extended warranty. Had my 2018 Hyundai Kona 3 weeks and it now needs a new motor and Bob’s is no help.
Absolutely best mechanic in Dewitt County.
They got my car done faster than a F1 pitstop and at a reasonable price. I had to drop off and pick up after hours and they took care of it smooth as silk. Nice, friendly customer service that was much appreciated.
I recommend them to everyone that needs a good, honest mechanic.

I have been traveling to Clinton for work for most of the year and been broke down a hour away from home twice and these guys took care of me both times! Great service department, honest and fair. Highly recommend them for repairs!
I’m a teenage girl and know nothing about cars, so I struggled to find a mechanic I can trust for the longest time, but I feel great about taking my car to Bob’s. Abe is fantastic and never overcharges. I would recommend Bob’s to anyone!
Abe is the best to work with! We purchased a truck from him and got a great deal.... and I have taken my Jeep into his shop for repair and it was a super fast turn around. Great people to deal with!! Definitely recommend and we will be returning ☺️
We had a wonderful truck buying experience. They made the process easy, helped us get with a bank that could get us the best rate around in a not so great market. We did have some minor issues after buying, but Abe was more than willing to take care of the issues and made the situation right. Wonderful customer service and we won't hesitate to look at their inventory when we are in the market again.

If your looking for a dealership who is willing to be negotiable these guys are not it !!! Tried negotiating and had no wiggle room whatsoever, would not come off Price at all not even a cent . You would think you would price your vehicles where there is room to negotiate with your customers but all he did was sit behind a desk and not work with me on price , wasn’t even asking for thousands off just a measly $469 needless to say second time looking at that certain vehicle and walked away I’ll find somebody that has better customer service !
I would not buy a vehicle from BOB'S import. My wife bought a 2016 Chevy trax and 2 months later had to buy a new engine for it . They would not back it up.
Honestly amazing. Our jeep had a flat tire and we couldn't really go anywhere to get it fixed. Luckily they had a tire that fit and was in better condition that my other tires and they only charged me $20 for the tire, to dismount my tire, mount the new one on my rim and put it back on. A year later, we could have easily been swindled into a $600 replacement part on a van, when a repair was under $100. My father also bought an amazing truck from them. I could keep going. Thank you guys.
It is rare in this day and age to find a mechanic shop that is honest. This is a honest and upfront mechanic shop. The guy that runs it won't bs you at all. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Update 2020: service is still as good if not better than when I first started using them.
I bought my truck at bob’s import/body Worx on June 13th. I was pleased with the customer service that I received from the people that worked there.
The warranty that was given to me came in handy. I had a couple of issues with my truck and they were Absolutely wonderful. They took care of problems right away.
I would recommend them to anyone That is looking for a vehicle.
They are very personal people.

Had an amazing experience. After a long day of truck shopping in several cities we stopped in here to look and within an hour we were out the door with our new truck . Abe was a straight shooter and took care of us . We will definitely be long term customers.
Ben is very knowledgeable and good work. We had an oil leak and he did a great job diagnosing the problem and getting it fixed for us at a reasonable price. We will be back
Drove 3 and a half hours to buy pickup, got there and not at all what we were told! Said no rust, but rust. He said I guess I didnt see it. Offered gas money for our wasted trip but that didnt happen!
What a no stress awesome experience I came in there and knew what exactly what I wanted and they made it happen I had a few small issues with the truck I called them and they took care of it free of charge and payed for my gas for travels! They definitely have a life customer I’ll be going back for my family’s vehicles down the road I definitely recommend them! Thanks again!
Bob’s was able to fit me into their schedule, quick and easy. After taking my car to the dealership several times and being given the grocery list of “issues” that were going to be very costly, these guys listened to me and actually pin pointed the true problem. Very reasonable and great service.
A good place to go to have repairs done unless the vehicle is still under factory warranty I will take mine there to get it worked on. Never bought a vehicle there but I would Abe is a straight shooter.
