Mason went above and beyond helping me get the right parts for my vehicle and even installed them for me too. He was very kind and made my experience so pleasant and easy!
The staff were extremely helpful!! I was from out of town and my car had to be jumped. When I arrived, they checked my battery to determine it was bad / in need of a new one. Mason replaced it for me without any complaints (it was freezing cold outside!). He also spent time trying to replace my headlight, which he figured out it’s more complicated than just simple bulb fix. Very appreciative of his help!!!
My husband only goes to the one in Clinton because they have a csr named Owen who goes above and beyond to explain things or find something and he's very polite and knowledgeable. He read directions on things to better help my husband most people would just tell you it's not in stock or give the run around but Owen cares and it shows. My opinion he would make great manager
Owen Hunt was a great help and installed my battery. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in really cold temperatures was great. Brock Newberry was great came to my house with a jumper pack and got my car started so I could get to my Auto Zone to get a new battery. O’Reiley Autoparts refused to install a new battery. I won’t go anywhere else for parts then my Clinton Illinois Auto Zone
Had a kid named Owen Hunt help me finding parts for my 1961 thunderbird. He did a great job. Our Clinton store is lucky to have great staff. I will never shop napa again just from the service alone....
This place is horrible. I hate coming here because their staff never seems to know anything about anything nor is anything ever in stock. Today I was sold the wrong part at the autozone in Decatur and didn’t notice til I got home so I took it back to this store in Clinton and they told me that even though I paid cash I could only get a store credit refund since I bought the item in Decatur! So ridiculous!! I will never come back again. I’m so glad they built an O’Reilly’s here. They are so much better in every way and their prices are lower too!
Younger lady with dark hair and bright red lipstick was really weird and rude to myself and customers she was helping before me. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless she’s not working

Good place when your looking for common car stuff. But if its car parts there's usually a wait and they have to order it because they don't have it in the store.
Checked for needed parts online and their system says they have something in stock at local store for pick up. Yet 15 minutes later when I get to the store they were out of stock on one item and the other was just laying on bottom shelf all mixed in with other parts. Yet 2 employees standing around doing nothing when they could have been fixing their shelf displays putting parts back where they belong. When telling the employee about inventory online being incorrect, he gave the excuse that the online inventory shows just company wide. But the online screen said my local store showing their address had them.
I'm on the road working in Clinton and the windshield wipers needed replacing so I pulled into AutoZone they helped me pick out the right blades I paid for them and the kind gentleman at the counter came out and installed them on my car what a great place
Started off slow with little assistance, but about 10 minutes into the experience the associate became very helpful and ended up getting me the parts I needed. She had to go to the back room to find them. Worked out well in the end.
AutoZone has always taken great care of my shop. Whether it's my personal Vechile. Or customer vechile's they have always delivered great service. And always ask about the shop.

After 10+ minutes of waiting for them to find the part, I was given a regular oil filter instead of a hydraulic oil filter for my tractor. Luckily, I noticed the difference. I'll be trying napa next time.
Tried to order 2 screws that were supposed to be in last night and they were sent to a different town and then was told this morning to contact them after 8:30. Because of issues with my elderly dads phone, I drove him out there and the man working was very rude to us both. Almost noon and still no screws.
For years I have chosen Auto Zone here in Clinton over the competitor for their friendly staff and helpfulness. A few weeks ago my car was acting up and we decided it was time for a tune up. Went in and got Great service getting everything I needed. With busy schedules we hadnt put the parts to use after 2 weeks. I just happen to go through a local dealership and got a great deal on a new car. But of course they took my old car in on trade. No longer needing the parts, I took them back to the store. You would have thought I had robbed them. The Mgr said woowee when he saw the amount they had to return to me. Mind you he didnt bat an eye when I spent that money at the store. They handed me the cash, didnt count it out, only said here you go. And walked away....not a have a nice day or anything. Guess I wont be returning there. Sad how a simple have a nice day or is there anything else i can help you with would of or could of prevented this negative review. Customer Service basic rule in retail .
I Bought some wiperblades 6 months a go now they are falling apart when back to trade them in, but there not under warranty, had to buy another pair. Now it cost me over 65 dollars for 2 pair of wiperblades in less than 6 months.
Needed front license plate holder for a plastic bumper, service rep saved me over $20. compared to other suppliers, he offered to install the bracket, but had left his tool kit home
If i could give a zero star rating i would. Customer service sucks, they give you the wrong parts all the time, and the Manager named Kyle is by far thee worst. Very rude and cocky.
On Thursday, the helpful service at Auto Zone was stellar. He put in my headlamp on my truck and was swift and courteous. I highly recommend this business to others!
