I came for a car wash and vacuum. I don't expect it to be great because let's face it, it's only $18 and no appointment. But they missed spaces in easy view vacuuming and the outside looked like my teenager washed it. The staff at the counter inside was less than friendly and the swearing and gossiping I heard from the quick lube side while sitting and waiting was unreal.

Absolutely love my new, used, truck! It's exactly what I was wanting. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with making the deal with these gentlemen! Relaxing atmosphere, easy to talk with and Tony Lee and his crew were awesome. If you are looking for a new or used vehicle, don't buy anything until you go to Clinton Il and talk to these guys! Ill be back for all my service and business ..100% A+

Baum has been great! I started taking my Chevy there lately for service I don’t do at home (tires, alignments, etc). I have been nothing but impressed by them. They have been fairly priced, extremely kind, and on top of things. They seriously treat you like family, a rare thing nowadays. This is true for both of their locations, Farmer City and Clinton. I’ll drive from Decatur any day for them to service my car. They are much more affordable than other dealers in the area for tires and alignments. I had one quote from Baum for around $900 for tires and one from a Chevrolet dealer in Decatur for $1400+ for a lower end tire (General vs Pirelli). I highly recommend them!

Very poor. Upon my arrival salesman was to be doing his enservices, he voiced great disrespect about them and the company making him do them. He allowed his enservice to continue but turned it down and ignored it instead of pausing it and do the lesson appropriately. Salesman had a careless attitude and no respect for the company he worked for. I had worked with mechanics at this company prior and asked many times to check my headlight because I couldn't see the passengers side of the road which is what ended up causing my accident that lead to my car being totalled out. If they had just simply checked the headlight, I would not of had the accident. Even the mechanic that finally did check it stated that there was no way I could of ever seen the road because the headlight was pointed way upward and totally outward. It was in that position since February when I hit a deer. No one would follow thru. Now it was November of the same year, still no one would check the headlights. They called me after doing $4,000 repair work and told me my car was fixed. When I picked it up, the heater did not work and it's negative 20 degrees out. I heard a large amount of gurgling from my engine and it suddenly sounds like I got 2 motors not one. As I pulled up to a stop light the car teeter/tattered. It could not make up it's mind which 2 wheels were to take turns being on the ground while the other 2 wheels were on the ground. I promptly returned the car and stated that car is not right. I explained what I just experienced, and the mechanic state he even experienced that. Three days later they called and stated they are totalling my car. $18,000 worth of damage has been found. They wanted me to drive it home 3 days prior, putting my life in great danger. What was my life worth. Please learn from my experience; cherish your life. They won't.

After a deer hit my last Pacifica I went searching for a new-to-me one. I knew what I wanted and found it at Baum. We traveled two hours to get it. The guys there were super great. Tony and Jesse were nice, knowledgeable and made sure we were taken care of. We had some problems with the van right off the bat but they got us all fixed up and back on the road as fast as they could. The only reason I left 4 instead of 5 stars is bc I felt like after the problems we should've gotten a full tank of gas but I also understand money money lol....we would def come here again for sure! Thanks fellas!

I have purchased 2 brand new vehicles and 2 used vehicles from Baum in Clinton, IL, using varying salespeople each time. I have strictly used their service department for my service on all my vehicles, even ones purchased elsewhere. I also frequent their Quick Lube and have had several autobody/collision repairs done with their Collision department. I have yet to have a single bad experience with Baum. All of the staff has been incredibly helpful before and after the sale, during the process of having vehicles in for regular service or collision work. Today, we had a unique situation where the dealership did a buyback of a car for me that I had bought new in 2019 from them. They gave a fair price and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met in this unusual situation. They made it a very seamless transition. Customer service was exceptional yet again today.

The quick lube team at Baum was friendly and efficient. I had about a 25 minute wait for a bay at 1:30pm on a Tuesday afternoon. It's important to note that service is first come, first serve and that appointments are not available. There are only two available bays. The only weekday were they are open past 5pm is on Mondays where they're open until 6pm. Once in a bay, my standard oil change was complete in around 20 minutes at the cost of approximately $75. Overall, I highly recommend using the Baum Chevy Quick Lube service in Clinton, IL.

Dealership is always awesome when I deal with them and they jumped through hoops to get me the car I needed/wanted since I was without one due to a wreck. Finance was always amazing to work with and everything went flawlessly!

Baum is a great dealership. Their service department is five star. They are quick, helpful, and friendly. They fixed the sensor on our tire the same day we reported it. We have been very happy with our Equinox purchased from them three years ago. Our next car will be from here. Highly recommend them.

Baums always has been, and continues to be the best dealership around! Scott and his teams don't hesitate to go out of their way to deliver all around excellent service and experience. Vehicle dealings can be frustrating and stressful at times but Baums has a way of putting you at ease, and instilling trust. I live over 1000 miles away, 8 months out of the year, but come back to Baums to buy and service my vehicles. My recent purchase of a new truck was a very smooth, easy, and no pressure process. I can even say it was enjoyable with the Baums team. Thank you Baums, keep up the good work!

Not that Baums needs another good review, and I’m surprised I hadn’t left one before but today takes the cake. I bought my truck from them a little over a month ago and just the other day started noticing some issues with my rear brakes, I don’t drive my personal vehicle very often so I hadn’t noticed it prior. I called about it Saturday, dropped it off this morning and they had everything finished by the afternoon. My family has been buying vehicles here for years and this is my second purchase from them, something had been overlooked when the truck was sold to me but the honesty and determination of Scott Baum and all of the guys in the service department blew me away today. I understand as a business owner myself that things happen sometimes and mistakes are made, but the honesty and integrity it takes to make those things right for the good of the customer is the reason I will go to Baums for anything I will need in the future!

Tony Lee was my Sales Person and I couldn't have been happier with his professional courtesy. He went above and beyond to get me the vehicles that interested me, drive them, and that I could afford. When I decided on which vehicle, he was very patient with me when explaining all of the features and helped me set up everything. I also want to mention Mason in the financing division. He was also a great help in deciding different options and he explained everything along with answering any questions. Both men are very personable. Being a female in what is a predominantly a male (not always) culture, they didn't make me feel any less of a person. Thank you to both of you. It was a seamless and positive transaction. You are both a great asset to the Baum dealerships.

Totally awesome. Staff is great as always. Tip of the hat to the entire staff but especially Shawn who took our sport loving 8 year old grand son into his office and let him watch the NCAA Tournament game as we did paperwork. You don’t get this from a large town dealership.

Bryon on the sales team is so helpful! I needed to trade in a beater car ASAP and was ready to take a step towards a larger vehicle & he was so quick and easy to work with. He has also checked in with me a couple times after leaving the lot to make sure I am fully happy with my purchase. Friendly and consistent people!:)

Our salesman, Travis, was wonderful and a no pressure salesman. He took on the challenge of finding us the perfect truck and provided us with timely updates on the sale. We were able to take advantage of some rebates and got a good deal for our trade in. No deal Nick wouldn't budge on negotiating...not even for $300! That's the only reason we didn't give 5 stars.

Really great experience before writing my check, terrible experience afterwards. Story is sort of long. Purchased a used Chevy Bolt 2023 here late July with under 100 miles. Was skeptical about the manufacturer warranty start date since the Carfax shows the first owner reported on 02/24, but the GM website warranty status says the warranty started to count down from 01/23 (this technically means this car has been sitting there for more than one and a half year). Brought up this issue to my sales person and their finance manager BEFORE I write my check, they assured me the warranty started counted down according to Carfax date (02/24). I chose to trust their words since they must be more experienced on this than I am. If I were to know the half of the warranty period already elapsed, I would not even consider it. Followed up with them on this issue but they told there is nothing they can do about it and the car is "as is". They have another identical Bolt on the lot, which on the same boat as this one. So think twice if the manufacture warranty is important to you. What's more skeptical is that I noticed the door sticker was gone for some unknown reason. This might already say something.

Baum Chevrolet and Buick is worth the drive to Clinton first class service friendly employees service shop is top-notch Scott Baum goes out of your way to make you feel at home. Bryan Lewallen was my sales person for both my trucks I've bought . Bryan lets you know up front what things will cost if you build your vehicle for your taste as I did for my '18 and '24 Silverado. I've got over Kelly bb value for my trade for my new truck. Baum Chevrolet is worth the drive at least to feel the family attitude from a dealership and not just a sale.

Drove from Cincinnati to purchase a vehicle from Baum Chevy Buick. Delores was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and professional from the beginning to end. Mason worked quickly and got paperwork together. Was in an out of the dealership within an hour or so. Definitely was worth the 4 hour drive! 10/10 would recommend!

Good looking dealership. Very clean. I just stopped in to charge my rental car. They just charged me for free. Their charge station wasn't working outside so they charged me from one of their repair bays. Super nice folks. If I was in the market for a car and I lived near Clinton Illinois, I would give them first chance to sell me a car. Super clean service bay. Thanks Baum for getting me enough juice to get to my son in Bloomington. Decatur Illinois has nothing for charging a vehicle. So 😢
