My first time here since moving to the area. Everyone was friendly and helpful and I got some great deals

My favorite grocery store to shop. Great deli with friendly and helpful employees. I have known several cashiers for many years; I also knew their Mother.

We found it very disappointing. They hardly have any GF products and we were directed to Galesburg to find some. Yeah but not at 10pm. The only reason I'd go back is to get garlic and herb cheese curds cause their the best I've ever tasted but otherwise I won't.

The older white lady tonight was extremely rude to a Hispanic customer over him wanting to take the shopping cart outside I believe she was a manager we was so disgusted that we left our stuff on the belt and walked out

This store used to be good, but not anymore. You have to watch stuff for mold, plus advertised sale items rarely in stock. On the bright side, the cashiers are friendly

The cashiers were friendly and courteous. The store had the right amount of products and well organized for a first time experience I was able to find everything I wanted without asking where anything was. They have a kitchen with hot food that is fresh and cheap as far as price goes but good sized portions.

I love going here and never buying anything other than the deli chicken strips. 10/10

I was shocked when I saw the affordable prices. This is in Illinois so I thought everything would be expensive buts it wasn't. The prices were better then Walmart and Hy-vee put together.

Unwelcoming environment, often poorly stocked and always over-priced compared to alternatives. You're better off driving to Galesburg to do your grocery shopping there. The staff are always kind though!

Traveling and seen this store. I asked for a club card as we see this market everywhere. No one in the store knew how to do this. Not even the manager smh. However the manager gave us a discount on each item that was on sale. Seemed like alit of trouble and time for us. Might need to do a training session on this one. Cashier and manager were both very pleasant just didn't know how to do a key factor to getting discounts.

Over the years it's just gotten worse and worse. I picked up A bag of potatoes didn't it realize They were rotten.The lady had check out didn't say anything Got to my car and they had pooled a rotten puddle into the bag and all over my other veggies. Both times I've gotten meat there it's been bad , just got a pork butt and it's so rotten I've vomited over the smell for an hour. Really they've gone so far down hill it's sad. There managers are rude and now I know why no one wants to work there. What a sad story for a store that was so great back when they had managers and workers theater cared about the store. GET WELL SOON COUNTY MARKET! I WILL NOT BE BACK!

Store has always been very clean & easy to shop. They carry items in store that I can't find/buy in Galesburg. It's worth the drive.

Great as always, friendly staff, polite customers, same great range of products. Only 4 stars though, and not entirely their fault I guess, but the cost of everything has gone up so much. I understand inflation and stuff, but do they have to put up their prices by a higher percentage.

The employees are very sweet and helpful. If you need spices or mixes, this is the place to go. They also have the best Chester Chicken around! Prices are a little high, but that's all smaller towns.

Some of the people are good out there don't get me wrong. My last interaction with the service desk employee has left such a sour taste in my mouth I will be going to fareway or Walmart from now on. I felt ripped off due to the digital coupon thing they have going on there. They were very blunt and offered no solution. I also see a lot of the older service desk people be pretty mean to the other employees there on more than one occasion. I have shopped there since the place has opened, but will not anymore.

Great local store. The prices can be a bit higher than other places, but the produce is amazing! They also have great weekly and monthly (Penny Pincher) sales. There is a kiosk as you come in where you can load online coupons to your Max card. Friendly and helpful people!

They were always friendly and helpful when I went there. Good local place with a decent meat section. Highly recommend the marinated pork chops if you want something quick to throw on the grill.

Visited after bowling (when most of Monmouth's streets are rolled up and packed away for the evening). They had two really impressive items for a small town store: decent chicken with skin-on (yay!) and organic romaine lettuce hearts. They have some low-carb breads I might try, too. Was wowed. Staff was friendly. Will have to sort out what a Max card is and what it can do. Future adventure! Nice store.

Yes, indeed the complete store has gotten a even more convent and impressive look to go with it! I haven't been there in about 3 years! Was completely different so I decided to ask were the ? is! After I went to where it was first!'

Update: If you arrive after about 7pm they lock the main automatic opening doors and you will need to enter from the far left manual push exit door. I almost left the first time I came at night shortly after moving in to town. Good thing I saw another person go in that other door. Not sure how many people just drive away or go elsewhere as there is no sign or other indication stating to use the other door. You look in through the windows and it's dead inside. Apparently there is no worry about losing business after the 9-5. Original Post: Okay for a small town. A bit pricey. Polite staff and decent selection (produce section is a bit sparse). Make sure you check expiration dates, small town means less product turnover. I've bought items several times here that taste okay, but were past their best by date. Probably only a 3 star experience, as I'd prefer to shop in Galesburg, but it's great for when I need things late in the evening and don't want to drive out of town.

We’ve recently moved to Monmouth and just love this store! The deli and hot foods are a great option for when you don’t want to cook. The fresh fruits and veggies are plentiful and a great variety. Oh and the meat counter is fabulous!! The store is easy to navigate and always clean. The staff is friendly and willing to answer questions about the community to newcomers like us.

Good store...always clean. Employees are always nice. You can pay bills at the banking counter, and there's a US Cellular inside as well. One of the butchers, older guy, is one of my favorite people to deal with. Very polite.

Sub-par at best. The food here is expensive, less fresh, and less appealing then Groceries in Galesburg and Macomb. If you have a vehicle, try to get there instead. It's cheaper and your taste buds and body will thank you later!

County Market is full of friendly employees and definitely represents Midwest hospitality. They may not have everything you're looking for, but they have a great grocery selection. It's the only place I buy meat and produce. Great product, reasonable prices, friendly service.

Pretty good store, pretty much the only one with a decent selection in Monmouth. Nice staff. Decent selection of Organic offerings if you are into that. Great deli and meat products. They rotate lunch and dinner offerings if you are wanting something prepared. Great rotisserie chicken and Pot Pies.
