i have made a review over a year ago hoping something would change, but things have gotten worse. they told us to call and when we did they ended up giving us a $50 credit. but that $50 credit has never been put on a bill or anything. we have called multiple times for no pick up and always received a email stating that either trucks are down, short staffed, someone called in, this happens, that happen. but would see trash trucks out and about all day long going everywhere but our house on tuesdays - but no response on how them as a company can fix it. they just say will pick up all the trash you sit by the can the following week. okay cool whatever, next week rolls around and our trash is double in size and again, no pick up. finally they pick up our trash regularly for a month and goes right back to this bs. we haven’t had trash picked up in 2-3 weeks, we started storing trash bags in our garage to throw away when they come pick up, and we have 3 trashbags full in our house because we are running out of room to put them in the garage.
it doesn’t help that we know that they are getting paid regardless if they do or don’t pick trash up because they send the bill every 3 months and charge us for every Tuesday.
How about getting your hours straightened out. One website says hours are 8-12 on saturdays but your website says closed on Sat with a pic of the building with a sign in the window that says “Sat 8-12 .” Then the sign out by the road says Sat 12-4 on one side and blacked off on the other. So frustrating. The hours are inconvenient for those that work that need to use the dump since it closes at 330 during the week and not open at all on the weekend ?!? 🤨
Literally the worst company our town has ever hired. Never picks up recycling. Wants to charge $50 to come back and get your trash if you miss but can’t pick up In the same day or don’t have enough workers or the trucks down or whatever the Excuse is . Then our town has a rule that you will be charged $25 if your can consistently sits by the curb but yet our trash and recycle don’t get picked up when they’re supposed to🤔🤔🤔 Also, you can never talk to anybody directly that can give you any kind of help.
Worst garbage company I have ever encountered! For weeks now, they either pick up days late or don't pick up at all. You can't reach anyone on the phone. They removed messaging from Facebook. They also have complaints against them at the Better Business Bureau. We tried calling corporate office but got nowhere there either. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO!!!
Misses pick up all the time. BE PREPARED TO SIT ON HOLD FOR OVER 45 MINUTES! So dissapointed worst part is they bought majority of the businesses up around so not many options when it comes to waste service if I could rate lower I would. One of the worst companies I have ever seen.
I got to deal with them starting 2023 first quarter. I was so happy I got rid of WM the most liars. Until now, today, Jan. -7, 2025 every time I call them they don’t answer we leave a message they never call back. They do not care one lady in Rosemont office yeld at me and said we have thousands SS of customers.
Have skipped my house 4 times in the last two months even though they’re supposed to pick up trash once a week. When I call no one answers. Submit an email and get no reply. Terrible service, go elsewhere
I don’t know exactly who’s responsible for my trash pick up since Jackson disposal sold out, But whoever it is is absolutely the worst. Lakeshore recycling is the name that’s on the ACH though, so they get the review. they have come and picked up my trash, maybe once in the last month, while jacking their prices up to the highest in the area. Spending my time picking up filth in the front yard that the raccoons get into as I live in a rural area. If I could give them zero stars I would. it was worth the $30 to stop payment to them. If the receiving center in Monmouth doesn’t want a bad name, I suggest they quit doing business with whoever it is.

Absolutely pitiful. They used to charge for yard waste, then they didn't, now they do again. Get it together. Also, every single trash day, I have to pickup all of the trash that fell out when dumping the can. Not to forget the amount of recycling that they just leave lying around, because they are too lazy to do their job.
I am disabled and have asked them to not put my cans in front of my driveway. It is too hard for me to get out of my vehicle to move them when returning home. It got so bad that one time, I watched one of the drivers get out of his truck just to put my cans in front of my driveway (granted this was a bit ago). One driver even got a sharpie and wrote on my can to tell me that they needed to be facing forward. I reviewed my camera and my can was slightly turned to the side. Not enough to affect his job, as he still used the truck to dump it. However, then he got out of his truck and left the note.
Bottom line, they are a trash (pun intended) company. I have no idea why Montgomery goes with them when the reviews for every single lrs location has less than 3 stars. My business uses Flood Brother's. What a difference a local owned company makes. Super friendly and never fails to do a good job.
Ok, rant over. Just avoid them if you can. Montgomery seems to love throwing money at them.
Reckless driving when in town. Will blow through intersections. Almost hit me a couple times because they don't pay attention. If you live in aledo and you see them driving, be careful. They do not care about other drivers on the road
They empty the dumpster every Monday, but our bill keeps going up, up, up!
For a company with "recycling" in their name, it's strange that we're not offered the ability to recycle. We have to send cardboard boxes and everything to the dump.
What a horrible company to do business with. They deserve 0 star rating. Drive right by my house their name is on the dumpster and still don’t pick it up. Horrible horrible horrible company , Don’t waste your time leaving them a message they won’t call back. Sure do miss Jackson disposal!!
Very dissatisfied with this company and annoyed we have no choice. The man who picks up has yelled at me because a car was parked too close to the garbage cans. Today another car was parked in the street near where the garbage was sitting for a full extra day longer than planned by the company so they left the can sitting in the street as retaliation. I attempted to call, but no one is available. In this town, we have no other options for garbage pick up and it has been terrible service since LRS has taken over.
Really wish Jackson disposal didn't sell out to a company that doesn't care about service or people. For God's sake do your job and take pride in what you do. It's a valuable service that many people need. We don't need a shoddy company to take care of our needs. Do you? Get the roll off dumpster out of my yard please!
The LRS Monmouth TRANSFER station is where all the regional trash ends up. They have nothing to do with the pickup schedule or billing. We just accept trash brought to us.
This company is THE WORST! When they do show up they leave a mess. You know where they have been since they leave broken glass. You never know when they will show up. My garbage can has been out since last night for pick up today....its now 6:45 and it's still sitting there full. You can't get ahold of them. Their recording says they open at 8am...but it says that ALL Day they never answer. Their corporate office sets holiday schedules then this facility does what they want.
Feb 19th 2022, loaded up the truck to take items to the dump. Got to the dump at 10:15am and it was all locked up. I called and talked to a lady who told me there was an issue and someone else would be there in 30-40 minutes to open it up. I went back at 11:05 to see the gate still locked. A gentleman pulled up to me to let me know he was there to let people know that the dump would not be opening because he doesn’t have a key. Now I have to unload the truck back at my house, frustrating. Very bad planning by LSR. I hope the original person that was to open is ok, and that LSR will get their plan B together.
We’ve been using Environmental for about 2-3 years now. They’re consistent and take the extra items placed out with the cans. Also the lawn waste pickup service is great!
Despite the bad reviews I decided to give them a call to get a quote on a rollaway. I had to leave my number to get a call back from someone else. When he called he didn't pronounce my name correctly and then asked what I needed because for some reason the person I left my information with didn't relay the information. He was extremely rude and acted as if I was bothering them. The reviews are accurate and I'm sorry I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt.
Environmental is horrible, they break village codes by coming into residential areas before it’s permitted. They don’t care, they do what they want. The driver is rude, he flipped me off when I told him he was here before code aloud. The staff in the office don’t care and seem to turn over with regularity that nobody know what’s going on. This is the most absolutely awful company out there. If you want the worst, cheapest trash collection services out there, you’ve totally found them. Be prepared to be disappointed in everything this company attempts to do.
A rock flew out from the back of one of their trucks and damaged my car and windshield. While they were polite, they refused to do anything about it because I didn’t have a truck number. It was all I could do to stay in my lane amid heavy traffic, let along start reading anything more than the name of the company and the phone number. So much for happy, family owned businesses doing the right thing.
