This shop is fantastic! We were traveling to St. Louis & broke down at the Litchfield exit. We got towed to their shop and they worked us in & got us back on the highway. Very friendly & great customer service. We highly recommend them!

Brian goes above and beyond for his customers. He came out in the freezing temperatures and switched out a battery for one of our truck's that were stuck on the road. It's no surprise he has been in the industry for over 40 years. Great service! I would highly recommend.

Called to ask questions and the lady who answered the phone was rude and completely hateful. She kept accusing me of being in her yard, raising her voice at me. When I told her I had drove by over the weekend and was just wondering about the work they do, she cut me off and hung up after calling me an idiot. Would not recommend.
Car died on the hwy nowhere hours from home and hours from destination and in the middle of dense fog late evening. We called about possible towing and ended up getting a tow through insurance roadside assistance. Hindsight, should have used Brian's. I give 5 stars because he called us back to check on us to make sure we had something and weren't stranded. No one cares like that anymore. If I'm ever in need of his services again and am in this area, I will be calling Brian's Auto!
Update: After waiting 2 hours for insurance roadside assistance and then the told it would be another hour, canceled the tow from insurance and called Brian's. Very prompt and kind, great service!
My motorcycle died 40 miles from Litchfield due to a bad battery connection. He brought a replacement battery and installed it. Then he followed me back to Litchfield. Very helpful and fair priced.
Reliable, friendly and expert service. Not only a tow company but auto repairs! A tow service dependable on a Saturday late afternoon when no other options are available. They are the best!
This 5 star review is long overdue in coming. I fell asleep at the wheel last April and ended up in ditch south of Litchfield on route 55. The tow truck driver that came to my rescue was very prompt, thorough and caring as he towed my vehicle out of the ditch. He made sure my vehicle was drivable and that I was fine and able to complete my journey home. I would give him more than 5 stars if I could!
Brian's Auto offers a wide variety of services. I have had them take care of a lot of different needs. I trust them. They never try to upsell me with anything I don't see as necessary.
Great place, I definitely would recommend to any ody that needs their vehicle worked on. My Durango was in and out quickly and the price was half the amount I thought I would have to pay. Very thankful for the service I received.

Great service! Broke down 20mi. North of Brian's. He was on scene in 20 min. Broken belt & pulley. He had parts ordered while we were towing back to his shop. Parts came before we did! Mechanic Josh went right to work, and from the time I called to the completed job in just 2 hrs!! Amazed how fortunate to have found their help.
Brain is a very nice man! After sitting for hrs and hrs (via on star) they first has someone coming from edwardsville after speaking to him and telling him what is wrong he canceled on me bc he said my car was disabled and i need someone who had tow dollies bc my car was not going to move…so i had to call onstar back and request that and they sent brian and all that it was …. A battery! Such a great guy wnd very helpful!
My partner broke down on the side of the road and we realized that his alternator went out. They came out fast and charged us a fair price. If I am ever in the area again and have problems I know where I'll be going!
Very Rude!
I just called to ask if they would add transmission fluid to my Porsche. The woman that answered the phone was rude and told me to take it to a "Jiffy Lube" if all I needed was transmission fluid. I explained that it's a sealed system and requires an actual mechanic. She abruptly said, "NO, I'll pass on the Porsche!" and hung up. Thanks for being a professional (Sarcasm)
Brian went over the top to pull our 39’ Motorhome out of the mud —twice. He arrived quickly, no grumbling, got us out, left, and turned around and came back just to check that we were okay. His wife answered the phone with a smile and understanding. We had been waiting for three hours for our roadside service to send a towing company out to rescue us. Once Brian received approval from them he arrived in 15 minutes. I should mention this all happened at 9:00 pm in the evening. Brian definitely earned his five star rating in our book!
Brian hauled a vehicle from Mt. Olive to Granite City for me and charged a very reasonable price. He is also a super nice guy, always a pleasure to chat with.
These folks were very friendly and down to earth. I came off the highway with a smoking car and they were able to send me on my way without too much frustration but also with a few more interesting stories in my pocket. (Ask why they are called 23 hour towing).
Excellent service. Brian picked us up promply on NB I-55, dropped my family and vehicle off in Springfield. He was great company along the way. I would recommend him to anyone needing assistance.
I'm from Springfield and my car broke down outside of Litchfield and Brian was who my insurance company contacted, he was there within minutes, figured out what was wrong, ordered the parts and now the car runs great. I wouldn't hesitate to go back there even coming from Springfield due to Brian's honesty and prices. The drive is worth it to me just to have the repair done right the first time.
