I never have to question their integrity and AS A FEMALE I have always been completely comfortable knowing I'm getting honest work done. Gave me excellent, fast service, they are the nicest people I have ever dealt with at any auto service EVER! The owner is SO NICE, he gave me a ride home when I did not have one because I wasn’t aware of how long the service would take. You need to go here because they will not talk down you, they will treat you with respect. Cannot say enough nice things about them!!!
I never got any work actually done because I walked in there as a female and told them what was wrong with my vehicle and felt so un comfortable about the way the guy was looking at me and didn’t ask any questions and then told me I had to leave my car there and wasn’t allowed to stay I just left. I had told him I was from out of town and what was wrong with the vehicle and it was like they didn’t even have me in the books. Not a place to go if you’re a female.
I've an older Ford Ranger with an issue I thought was going to be major (and costly).
I was thoroughly impressed and appreciative of their honesty and haste in diagnosing my issue and to my surprise, was not outrageously expensive.
My truck will be repaired promptly and properly. I'm happy to have been referred to them by several garages / mechanics in the Dubuque area. Their experience with these types of vehicles have obviously earned them a solid reputation.
I was stranded. I had stopped at a rest area, and when I came back to my truck and turned the key nothing happened. The battery was fine, so now what? I called the nearest shop (Sedbrook's). Dave returned my call and 6 minutes later he was there. He went under the truck and found a wire had broken off of the starter solenoid. "Get in and try it", he said. I did, and bam! It started. He told me what I needed to do for a proper fix once I got home. The rescue was easy, yet it probably took a half hour out of his busy day, He refused payment! THIS... is the kind of shop you want to do business with.
We travel related to my husbands job and we have been in numerous states. Sedbrooks has been a breath of fresh air. VERY honest people that provide great turn around time. Two times we have needed work done on our vechiles and when i called they said to bring it in the next day. They could have said multiple things were wrong and increased charges but they never have.We wish we could carry them with us all the time. Mr. Sedbrook and to all of your guys, thank you for your honesty and great work.
