Fortunately when I called for a part for my 16969 AMX, Jen answered. She sounded like she knew what she was talking about. I stopped to seer her and got referred to a rebuilder in Bedford Park. Now have a rebuilt steering gear and I'm going back to order new power steering hoses from this NAPA because of Jen's knowledge and experience.
NAPA (since 1925) is a real auto parts store, unlike the "fast food" part stores like Autozone, Advance and O'Reillys. NAPA Auto Parts has over 6,000 stores in the United States.
The commercial manager Juan is extra rude.
Thinkin he can intimidate customers by yelling and puffing his chest. He needs to learn to listen to customers and how to talk to them before working at a customer service job.
I have been placing orders online for store pickup for about a year now as Napa is the only one that carries the oil I want (I change my oil 1-2 times a month) The first time I had the experience with this store it was before they moved. The store was extremely cramped and unorganized and workers very unprofessional. Once they moved to the new location I was hoping would be a little better experience, but seems like the store is the only thing that improved. Nobody greets you when you walk up to the counter and when I asked for help with an online order I was told there was a specific guy that would help me and everyone else was just off doing their own thing(including the guy that was supposed to help me). Just in case he didn’t know I was waiting for him I told him I had an online pickup whenever he has the chance (but before I could finish he holds up his hands and tells me to wait (he is not on the phone or anything) I was so extremely turned off by this incident but decided not to cause a scene and just grab my stuff and leave.
Just placed another order last night and received a few voicemails this morning about the order. Called back around 11:05 and Mike tells me that the store that has all my items are in Des Moines, IA and it would’ve been here by Friday had I picked up my phone. I told him it is what it is but coming from a logistics background that it kinda seems like poor logistics for an order from Des Moines to take 4 days to get here. He got extremely defensive and tells me that it’s not via ups or a courier and it’s not as easy as just putting things in a car and driving it over. I forgot what I said but he got really upset when I called him “dude” and tone completely changed and the arguing begins… sorry I called u dude? lol
That was the last straw and will never be doing any business with this store.
Great place to go for your auto part needs. Staff is very knowledgeable compared to other auto parts stores. They are not going to ask you unnecessary questions like what size motor to figure out wiper blade size. The commercial side is fantastic, they can get you pretty much any part you need from almost anywhere. There delivery is fast getting you your parts quickly so you can get the customers vehicle fixed quickly.
Friendly and Fast!!! These guys and gals are the greatest. You won't find a friendlier staff and they really know what they're doing. They have never dropped the ball for me when it comes to ordering parts and they always sell me the correct parts. I have never had to return anything nor have I ever had a reason to complain. Always a pleasant experience. Thanks guys, keep up the good work!
