Bad service and really expensive , and they broke my car when they towing and the charge for everting included if u breathe ????? bad service

Towed my car from my condo parking lot that I lived at for 8 years, which had a S&S towing sticker right on the back windshield in plain sight, they did recognize their error and didnt charge me, but I still had to take an uber all the way to Melrose Park and was late to work. This is the second time theyve done this. Terrible company.

My car was towed without proper justification and I was falsely told my plates were expired. I was charged $240.50 to retrieve my vehicle. On top of that, my car was returned with a scratch that was not there before. This company appears to work with property patrols just to make money, not to operate fairly. Very unprofessional. I do not recommend this company.

Make sure to check your vehicle for damages after it gets towed for any reason. This company is just the worst of the worst.

They like to tow cars that was legally parked with the permit then makes you pay double then what the posted price is

Call center folks here are just human and have bad days sure. But I have been on hold for over 10 minutes at this moment to call in my car for parking. Just called and was automatically put on hold since then, when calling in a car takes a minute or less… very inconvenient for people who get home from work late.

Worst experience ever. My car got a flat tire and had to be left at my work overnight and i ended up getting towed even after I was told it wasn’t going to be towed. They were not helpful at all and dont accept mastercard so I was stuck outside in the cold for an hour waiting for someone to bring me a different form of payment. Terrible company.

S&S Towing is a total scam. I parked in Melrose Park with a valid pass from the homeowner while visiting a patient. Less than 30 minutes later, my car was gone. At first I thought it was stolen — turns out they towed it. To make it worse, they held my car hostage for $240.50 CASH ONLY (no cards, no exceptions). Who carries that kind of cash around? The whole setup feels shady and predatory. Unprofessional. Stressful. Dishonest. Stay far away from this company.

S&S Towing are deceitful crooks. They towed my son's car for absolutely no reason except wanting to charge us $250 to get the car back. I am currently in communications with the Management Company and the police.

I got towed a few moments ago my car was in a spot I was visiting a friend. When I was bout to leave a tow truck driver in a man in a gray shirt was checking cars I thought I had some time went to get my bags an came out as he not only dropped my car he didnt even ask was it mine when I tried to tell him it was mine he took off with the car. Im 7 months pregnant and had to pay 250 to get my car back from them, they are the most rude individuals I have ever met. Look im not the greatest human being but they are on a hole different wavy length of evil.

Towed my car with the parking pass visible. Wouldn’t answer the phone and the operator at the lot was impolite. They do take card. Car cost was $250 and card fee is 4%.

Came outside at 5 AM to find my car WRONGFULLY TOWED from my apartment complex for no parking permit when my permit is displayed VISIBLY in the windshield you can’t miss a red & white sticker. This company has PATROLLED the parking lot DAILY and NEVER once towed my car which has been in the lot EVERY NIGHT and during the afternoon’s when they’ve patrolled when I’m working from home but SUDDENLY you’re blind to my parking permit. Make it make sense.

Two of my cars were damaged from being towed here after I over night parked on accident My under carriage for one car was completely destroyed and the other car body kit was also broken Was also $240 ONLY CASH to get my car out $10 credit card fee, their ATM only did $200 at a time $3 fee each time. Either way you go here and you are their son.

These guys damaged two cars of mine when towing. If they did this to you, which is why I’m sure you’re here, make sure you take many pictures and videos with time stamps of the before and after of what they’ve done to your cars. Then call them, talk to the manager and get the insurance information that they use and file a claim also get their email and file a police report as well The people that actually towed them were pretty nice, but some of them were incredibly violent and rude We just got in contact to claim damages on what they’ve done to our cars and we’re gonna sue them if they don’t fully repay us in my circumstance, I have no problem with WHY they towed us, they seemed to be legally within their rights

Absolutely the worst towing company I’ve ever dealt with. S & S Towing has been wrongfully towing my car from my own apartment building for the past 3 months — despite the fact that my valid parking pass is clearly visible on my dashboard. On top of that, they’ve outright lied to my face, claiming the pass wasn’t there when it was in plain sight. Each time, I’m forced to pay $250 just to get my car back sometimes after only a couple of hours. They don’t care if your car is AWD, they’ll drag it improperly and cause damage without a second thought. They show zero respect for people’s property and even less for the truth. This isn’t just bad service; it feels like predatory behavior. They do what they want, when they want, and make up excuses later. It’s exhausting, stressful, and financially draining. This company needs to be shut down. They have no integrity, no professionalism, and no accountability. Enough is enough.

I can't imagine much more of a scam than being told they didn't like the way your visitors permit was written and so they towed your out of state vehicle in less than 12 hours. Of course no manager on hand either.

Dont even want to rate it 1 star. Where do i start? I park by my apartment complex where there is NO signs that you cant park there or can and i get towed the first time because i didnt have a guest pass. Fair enough. However upon getting my car back there is scratches on my car and when i try to reach out they claim it wasnt them and those damages couldnt have been made by them. I have a brand new 2025 car keep in mind. Second time i get towed i have a guest pass but now this time the reasoning is “i was not parked in a space” which doesnt even make sense because there isnt lines showing where u can and cant or signs, yet they towed my car and on the paper wrote 240.40$ to get charged yet i look at my bank card and it says 250.10$ and has me sign a paper stating i cant reverse my payment even though he illegally ripped me off and took 10$ more then he should have. Once i collected my car it also said on the slip my tire was flat, which it wasnt…before or after. There was also this stench of weed and the guy i was talking to looked very tired and high with red eyes, the parking lot also smelled like weed too and when i come back to talk to him regarding NEW scratches on my car and why my tire was marked flat but he goes to hide in some corner like a rat in the office probably hitting his weed vape again to help him get through the night. Lots of mistakes were made on my paper and i will be reaching out past s&s towing since they do not care there workers are smoking weed on the job while driving which is a dui technically and messing up peoples cars. Thank goodness there is cameras by my place which will show my car getting towed and how. Thanks alot to S&S Towing for being the worst possible towing company out there and having high employees who cant fill out paperwork correctly or even tow a car without it receiving damage. This is a concern as you should definitely not be smoking on the job especially if it concerns towing and handling other peoples property while being intoxicated.

If I could give no stars I would!!! People need to beware of this company. My vehicle was towed off my apartment complex lot at 4a.m I picked it up at about 10 a.m. AS SOON AS I SEEN MY AWD CARS WHEELS I could tell immediately that my car was not towed correctly. They dragged my all-wheel drive car from bensenville all the way to northlake. They also charged me for a day of storage when it was only top 6 hours of being held at their facility. My receipt shows a completely different number then what my card was actually charged. They damaged my vehicle with over $4000 dollars of damage which they lied about . They lie about who they are when talking to them on the phone they lied saying my car was dollied when I recovered the camera footage from my parking lot they couldn't lie anymore thank God ! Because I would have got totally screwed if my neighbor didn't have these ADT cameras due to s&s lying over and over . As soon as I submitted the video footage their insurance company called me back and took FULL LIABILITY due to the car obviously being maliciously towed out of my parking lot. The company themselves claimed they had footage of the driver properly doing his job which they got caught in a huge LIE. SO not only did they over charge me $297.13 and damage my vehicle intensely they lied and lied and lied until I was able to provide the camera footage. This company needs to be shut down and property managements need to rethink before using these disgusting greedy companies. I am moving from my complex due to this issue when my lease is up and no one (my management company) wanting to get involved. Don't let this company touch your car because they will lie and ruin your car . And not to mention they also were INSIDE my vehicle trying to pop it into neutral and failed so they continued to drag it all the way to their facility. Again this company is scandalous and a bunch of lazy liars . If you no problem getting scammed and paying thousands to fix your vehicle that will get damaged and they will deny it so be ready for the excuses to start rolling go ahead and contact the number above . This is a joke of a towing company. I had to go through hell and back just to prove that these people were lying straight to my face . I think it's time for ICC to step in. Towed my brothers car with a fresh surface lot pass from ReNew Wheaton Center, these guys are awful!!! Towed my girlfriends less than 6 months prior only to find that someone broke into her vehicle, we knew because the cologne that was present was not mine, these guys are crooks and grade A felons, look out!!! Update: towed again for no reason, looks like it's off to the depot again to see if they're breaking into my car

S&S illegally towed my car from a parking lot in oak park while I was doing work for the landlord. The Illinois Commerce Commission and the Better Business bureau will be notified tomorrow...I was parked in a spot that was approved by the landlord. S&S does not care though. Here is one of their signs that is so faded that other unsuspecting victims will probably be preyed on in the not too distant future by this shady company, calling themselves a tow company.

Called a guest car in for 2 nights at my apartment complex. Guest parked in a correct guest spot. S&S proceeded to tow my guest's car the next day and said the dispatcher wrote 1 night. I had to get them to pull the phone record. Only then did they realize I did indeed say two nights. They also said they tried to call me and leave a voicemail when I was working but said the voicemail box was full.....it was completely empty. They are liars and extremely shady

These crook’s illegitimately towed my vehicle on May 17, 2024. They claimed that my plates on my 05 Silverado that I bought in September of 2023 were expired. The driver stated he saw a 3 and not a 9. When I first called them to see if they had towed it, their representative said that they didn’t which led me to believe my truck was stolen. I got a call from Addison police informing me that they did in fact tow my vehicle. When I called them back, they told me that they towed me for having “expired” plates. Their representative kept arguing with me and said how much do you want to bet in regards to my plates being “expired”. He came back on the phone and reluctantly admitted that they made a mistake. Their driver brought my vehicle back and told me that he’s sorry and that if any damage occurred to my vehicle, to contact them and they’ll fix it. It felt fine at first until I went to work. It started to drive weird and when I went to reverse it when I got to work, it didn’t want to at first. I had no choice other than to drive it until I could earn enough to get another vehicle so I could have that one checked out. I was forced to finance another vehicle because it kept getting worse. About 2 or 3 weeks ago I went to move it from where it was parked and it would not go in reverse and it would grind. I have tried to get in contact with their “claims” department multiple times. First the representative gave me the wrong email so I waited for a response for nothing. Then I called again last week since I never got a response and the lady gave me the right email. Sent an email, no response. Fast forward to today, I called them and the refused to compensate me for the damages. They claimed that they didn’t damage anything and that they know what they’re doing and I don’t know anything about my truck. He claimed it’s a rear wheel drive when it has 4x4. They didn’t care and clearly their driver lied to me. I informed them that I’ll be contacting an attorney and he said in a mocking tone to go for it. Something needs to be done about these crooks.

I was literally at Sephora while my car was getting towed. When I got there and told them this and showed them the receipt, I was told someone saw me leave the parking lot. Ridiculous and sketchy. Paid $220 and they didn’t even give me change. The receipt they give me was full of erasures from a different vehicle’s and written over.

My vehicle was towed from visitors parking even though I was tenant and I was just waiting for my new parking permit . Anyway. They wrote this big letters on my windshield and even though I cleaned it off you can still see it on the windshield and I called them to see can they do this ,is it lawful. They were so rude ,lady just told me to take rag and to clean it off .You can still see numbers after trying to clean it off with different solutions!!! If there is any lawyer wiling to take few dollars from this crocks I would love it !
