Jason was wonderful last Friday night! I called in the evening because I got a flat tire in the middle of the road. Dark angel was very fast and fixed my tire asap. I’m very grateful that they were open. 5 stars all the way!!
After I blew a tire late at night, I called Dark Angel. Their roadside truck was out of service, but they told me they could tow me to their shop instead. The tow truck driver (Pancho) was early, helpful, and kind. We got to the shop and I was paid and out the door in less than 30 minutes.
I highly recommend Dark Angel Towing. We called for a tow and they said one would arrive in about 20 minutes. The driver, Francisco (Pancho) called us 10 minutes later with his ETA. He was professional and efficient. Thank you so much!😀
I was brought to dark angel one evening and I feel I was taken for a ride the man who spoke to the tow truck driver only spoke in Spanish to him and said something else to me not knowing I speak fluent Spanish he charged me $120 for a used tire which he had quoted me $80 on the phone and when I asked to speak to his manager he said something to the tow truck driver and he left making me stranded and having to purchase a used tire for $120 shame on this worker I might not have been the only one it was done to.
I had a little emergency where we the back tire of my car blew out and it was Saturday afternoon around 1pm. I called 14 towing companies where it said 24/7 and 5 companies answered the phone but 1 company wanted 265.00 to help me with a four-way and a jack. Two companies didn't even want to come on the expressway , the only company that showed up in a timely manner, where we only waited for 20 minutes and the price was extremely reasonable. The driver came and he actually changed the tire for me completely and we didn't ask for his help that way he did however they WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELPING US AND I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM!! I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN. TO SERVICE TO MY HUSBAND AND I WERE A++++. Thank you very much, Dark Angel for all you have done for HELPING us especially on a Saturday. And charging less than $100. Can't go wrong with that.
Be very careful have someone else tow your car they will take advantage of you and then hold you car hostage. Notified the Aterney Genral office and there is a investigation. Notified better business bureau. The local authority's are aware and do not recommend using this company. It really is all in the Name. Beware
My gf had a flat tire and we were stranded on the side of the road downtown. We looked around and this place was open at 11 at night. They told us the price up front and we agreed to it. They came immediately, towed the car to their garage, and had a spare tire that we were able to purchase that fit her car. Everyone there was super professional and everything was handled quickly and efficiently. 5 stars and I couldn't recommend enough if you're in need of towing services.
Dark Angel Towing is freaking amazing. They came through and saved us off the expressway 290, took us to the shop and got us a another tire at 12 am. Super helpful people .Not expensive at all for the situation we were in. Highly Recommend
An angry neighbor of mine released the air in all four tires one time, when a friend parked her candy-apple red Town & Country behind his car and allegedly tapped his bumper. The only service I could find that had an on-board compressor to refill tires was Dark Angel. They came promptly and for $100, problem solved. I will call them first now, for any road service.
My experience with Dark Angel Towing & Recovery Inc. was good. I had no problems at all. The driver named Victor who towed my S.U.V. (sport utility vehicle) was a huge help. He was very nice, professional, and helped me get to my destination at my home. A job well done, Victor! It also cost $220.
This is one of those car shops where if you’re a woman, they’ll charge you more. I called and asked for the price of putting a patch on a tire, and they said it was $40!!! This was not my first time in need of that service so I know they shouldn’t charge more than $15. This is unbelievable.
Adrian showed up was faster then the 3 other companies called. Very professional, expedient, and a very skilled driver. Got my gmc into a tight spot with a flatbed truck. Very impressed if ever in need of a tow in Chicago they will be who I call
They mounted the motorcycle, when i looked at my bike I noticed my fairing was broken and addressed him about it ,he said that it was already broken, It was 2am so I just wanted to get home safe. He wanted to charge me $230 dollars. I told him that piece that he broke cost $75 He then said he would charge me $200. I just wanted to get home so I agreed. But when I got home I seen both sides of fairings were broken, $70 dollars of damage parts.
I am a believer in Dark Angel Towing! I had a flat going to an event that was a distance away from my house. It was late, so I decided to deal with it the next morning (Sunday). I reached out to multiple tow companies to only find out that the area I was located at wasn't in there service area or the wait time was extreme. Dark Angel Towing was prompt and 24 hrs. Adrian the service person who came out for me was courteous and a pleasure to work with! This is now my go to automobile service company
My 1500 Express Cargo van died on the side of 90/94 in the middle of the day on a Monday. I called Dark Angel and they promised that they would send over a tow truck. Several minutes later, Hector called me to let me know that he was on route to pick me and my vehicle up. When he arrived, he was very professional and friendly. Hector was quickly able to hook up and pick up my van and we headed back to the suburbs. When we arrived to our destination he was able to park my van in the back yard per my request, which can be a pretty tight spot as the driveway is a bit narrow, but the professional that Hector is, he did it with ease while being careful. Cannot recommend Hector enough. Would definitely not hesitate to give Dark Angel a call if I need towing services around Chicagoland area again, especially Hector. Thanks Hector!

I had a double blow out on the expressway after running over metal bracing from a truck. I called Dark Angel and spoke to a very polite dispatcher who said Alfonzo would be there with the flatbed I requested. They told me upfront the cost to tow my vehicle. Alfonzo arrived earlier than expected and was very personable and reassuring that as long as I was okay, the damage to my vehicle can always be repaired. Alfonzo’s truck was clean and provided a comfortable drive to my location. I would never hesitate to use Dark Angel towing. 5 stars for sure.
I asked someone if I could have my car picked up from a shop and delivered to my house.
Yes, said the man. I told him my car needed to be out of the shop by 4 p.m. He said no problem, I gave him my information, and he said 180 cash or 190 card. Let's do it, I said.
I called the company to find out when my car would be delivered. "I don't have anything scheduled for today," the lady on the other end said. I told her "That can't be because I spoke with your dispatcher and we made arrangements?"
He appears to have only jotted down the addresses. And they're nothing we can do....
Well that mistake is going to cost me more money. I'll have to wait till Monday to get my car towed. Which means more storage fees, keeping my rental for another week, and having to reschedule my mechanic for the following weekend, if he's available.
Don't use these people find someone better and more reliable, cause they're trash
When my car started emitting white clouds of smoke at Madison/Damen at 3pm a few days ago, I frantically searched for someone to tow me to my mechanic 6 miles away. After calling numerous tow companies (maybe 10?) I decided Dark Angel had the most honest dispatcher of the bunch. No lies on how the process works, cost, how long before a tow truck would arrive. Plus she had a reassuring voice that calmed me in a tense situation. The tow truck operator came on time as promised and was very nice & friendly. I will use Dark Angel any time I am in need again...tho hopefully not! I have already passed on their name/number to a few people & mechanic for future reference. Thank you Dark Angel!
My granddaughters were stranded in the city late Friday/early Saturday and i was frantic; didn't know who to call. I hit the jackpot connecting to Dark Angel, they came to their aid quickly and professionally.

I caught a flat in the middle of a snow storm. They knew that I was in distress, so they took advantage of me and charged me $80 for a USED tire. Also they didn’t even put the tire on my car. When I confronted the worker and tried to negotiate a better bargain, he began taking the tire off.
The condition of the garage is unclean and unorganized. They had someone to watch me get money out of the ATM. Overall the customer service was displeasing. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!
They broke my bumper and left my car in a tow zone. Refused to move it to legal parking, so I got towed again 2 hours later by the city.
I gave very clear instructions to the operator and the driver about where to leave it, And they just didn't care.
I got it all on video and sent it to the owner who also didn't care.
One star is one too many for these crooks.
This place is amazing. We had 2 flat tires and did not realize that our rims were messed up too. This place went above and beyond with their service. Definitely fast and reliable. They operate for 24 hours! People there are are very friendly and trust-worthy.10 stars if I could. 👍👍👍👍
Had such a great experience with these guys. Ended up in a situation where a tire blew out and every place I tried to go was closed and awful. They took me in right away, were very friendly, did a great and quick job, and were very reasonably priced. I felt they were very trust-worthy and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
I have to agree with most of the reviews here that speak about this place and it’s lack luster customer service. I have visited them thrice, and three strikes they’re OUT! I drive for a living, so needless to say, I frequently have to repair and replace my tires. That being said, the first time that I visited them was one evening at around 9 pm, at that time I had a tire repaired. The second time that I did business with them, it was approximately 2 am and again I needed my tire repaired. I was told that a patch would be $15 while a plug would be $25 🤔🤔🤔. I opted for the patch work. Of course I understand that they have after hours prices but $25???? I naturally gave off a response of disappointment but had little time to sulk as I was advised that the man who does the work was about to go home so if I wanted it I had to make a choice right then and there (which is odd because if he leaves, then technically you wouldn’t have ANYONE there to provide this “24 hour service “ right? Moving along). I then asked, well how much to put on my donut....I was advised $15. WOW!!!
LAST VISIT was this morning at 4 am. I have a slow leak and wanted to hurry up and get my tire fixed so that I could continue working...THIS TIME (before even diagnosing the tires damage) I was automatically told that it would be $25. I didn’t say anything. I politely started my engine and pulled smooth out!

Caught a flat in the middle of the night on I290, had car towed to my house but i needed a tire mounted and balanced asap.
Looked up on the net for 24 hr service and found this place. The guy that installed the tire was very nice, very well spoken and took care of my son and I. Price was reasonable for a tire which was for a BMW.
Would definitely use their services and recommend to anyone. Located on Pulaski right off of Augusta.
These guys are fast and great!!! I needed a tow because my tire popped after hitting a pothole and Edgar got to me VERY fast. And they are open 24 hours. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Descent prices for the service I got on my tight budget.

Amazing experience with the driver. The dispatcher was amazing and friendly as well. Very reasonable price. Got there in the time they said they would and dropped it off without any issues... I highly recommend this towing company. The driver was friendly, and super professional and bilingual. Would definitely use them again if I'm ever in a bind.
