I drove almost 2 hrs to get here. During registration, I paid the $500 deposit but the young lady forgot to print me a badge. When I asked for one, she said she gave me one and then she changed her story and said she didn’t give me a badge because I didn’t pay. After repeatedly denying that I paid, I asked her to check and she found my $500 deposit in a bag with my license and she was STILL hesitant to give me a badge or my money back. I understand making a mistake but, instead of simply checking to see if I had made a deposit, I was made out to be a liar and I didn’t appreciate that. I can’t justify spending thousands of dollars somewhere after being blatantly disrespected without an apology or acknowledgment of her mistake.

Whether a dealer or private individual, this is a great place to buy your next car.

Short story , people read the fees and regulations first we have bought many vehicles from here and we know from the beginning to check and make sure that’s the vehicle you want, is a auction so cars they run most of the time don’t belong to them, is other companies and people that want to sell their vehicles ,Now I do believe fees are a little to much and need to be adjusted otherwise will be perfect. Do your research before bidding.

Great auction, allows both public and dealers (which is rare) everyone is nice and had no problems. Bought 2 cars and was in and out in a breeze! Reasonable fees and a wide variety of cars to pick from. Will be back in the future, thanks East Atlanta Auto Auction!

I strongly advise against doing business with this company. Based on my experience, their practices are highly questionable and potentially fraudulent. Many of the vehicles show damage that appears to be caused by the employees themselves, some of whom have been observed drinking on the job. For example, they sold my uncle a vehicle that they claimed was in good condition, but it barely ran. After further inspection, we discovered that diagnostic codes had been cleared to hide serious issues. The car required extensive repairs, as nearly every major component had to be replaced. Additionally, I witnessed employees attempting to cover up scratches by buffing them out with gasoline. In short, this company misrepresents the condition of its vehicles, engages in deceptive practices, and cannot be trusted.

This was my first tine attending a car auction and I visited Atlanta East Auto twice before purchasing a car on my third visit. As busy and fast paced as this process is, the entire staff was extremely nice, and patient with me to answer every question I had from the beginning of the process to the end. When I did purchase, the staff was exceptional and once again patient because I had a ton of questions! I even had a question during an open bidding and one of the team members stopped what he was doing to make sure my question was answered and I understood the process. This auction was extremely organized and flowed well. I saw a few complaints about having to pay a $500 deposit to enter the auction but I didn't mind at all because it helped with crowd control and was returned when I didn't bid on anything. I'll definitely be back for future purchases because they have a great inventory.

My experience here was great on today, my son was the registered guest and we were attending with him. He did wind up buying a vehicle. The process was very fast paced, but you get full details on the screen in front of you, which is great, the people on the bidding floor are helpful, the ladies in the office worked their best to accommodate everyone as they were busy we arrived at 5:00 PM. We purchase a car in 40 minutes and was there for a total of one hour and 35 minutes. He is very pleased with his purchase and we look forward to returning for future purchases as they have some nice vehicles coming through there we were very impressed.

Very happy with this auction!! Everyone is very friendly and professional, excellent customer service. Best prices! ??

Terrible experience was stared down by staff member who tried to intimidate me into purchasing a car I didn't bid on. Band me because I corrected him. Update: allegedly they allow other bidders to manipulate the cars they lose the bid for and if you get a good car by chance they send people after you to crash your car.

I went to an auction in Marietta and it was the pits. I was very pleased with how this Auction was conducted. They really allow you to look at the cars inside and out. You can crank up the cars before they come on the bidding floor. I am very pleased with my purchase and I will be doing further business with them in the future. Will HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR A CAR.

Atlanta East Auto Auction is one of the best in the business! I’ve known Jackie, the office manager, since her time at Athens Auto Auction. Her title knowledge is top-notch, and she’s always efficient and ready to help with any issue that comes up. Larry at the guard shack is another familiar face who always makes you feel welcome. He has the best stories from his time at franchise dealerships and keeps things light and entertaining. Ado Hodzic is a young, energetic leader who ensures the operations run smoothly. His leadership and attention to detail keep everything on track, making the auction process seamless. Mac and Jefferson Bickerstaff work hard after the sale to make deals happen, always going the extra mile to take care of both buyers and sellers. It’s not just a few people who make this place great—Cristina, Kaleigh, Mike B, Mrs. Harriet, and Denny all bring their own skills and energy to the auction, contributing to its success and creating a welcoming environment for everyone. The live auction atmosphere is always exciting, with great food, fun vibes, and a fast-paced energy that keeps you coming back. If you’re in the market for vehicles, Atlanta East Auto Auction is the place to be!

When by just to check it out. They said I had to register and give them a $500 deposit just to get into the auction. I told them I wanted to just see the operation and would not be trying to purchase a vehicle. They refused to let me in without the deposit. I refused to give them the money and left. I will NOT be back and recommend that the rest of the public find alternate ways to shop for a vehicle.

I found out about this auction like 4 months ago...my bf and I went out there and was told we had to pay $500 deposit per each person that wants to be able to bid. It sounded a little fishy to me because there used to be an auction 10+ years ago that My mom, my sister and her husband and myself went to and all found cars...and I remembered that they were free to simply enter and bid but once you BID ON SOMETHING YOU WOULD HAVE TO GIVE THEM $500 AT THE BLOCK TO LOCK IN YOUR BID BEFORE PAPERWORK WAS FINISHED. So months ago when THIS auction told us about the $500 deposit it raised my eyebrows. So today my bf/fiancé and I went in and I paid $500 deposit to be able to bid on cars. We walked around and tried our best to test crank as many potential cars as we could before they pulled everyone in to start. I noticed how high the bids were typically $4000-$20,000 and I sat still in shock we made it almost to the end of the auction and I had not bid on anything and told my fiancé I was ready to go...well...2 more cars came out that said "Current Emissions" (green light) so I bid on a 2012 blue jeep patriot that 3 other people were bidding on...I won the bid and immediately felt fear come over me. They had a state patrol officer rush me inside to side the first form and the lady began to tell me the process. I told my bf let's go out and see it again before I sign the rest of the paperwork. When we went outside we couldn't find it...a guy showed us where it had been parked and was like "that car needs new spark plugs and backfires really bad"...when we got in to crank it back up, IT DID NOT CRANK WHATSOEVER!! I looked at my fiancé and dropped my head trying to fight back tears...I got out an opened the hood and smelled a nasty burnt smell. I saw dried white radiator fluid allover what looked to be a brand new battery...a worker came over to give the car a jump...in the middle of pretending that he didn't understand why it still wasn't cranking he finally just admitted that "hebelieved, as a matter of fact the alternator on the vehicle was shot...I went inside thinking i could get an arbitration and get out of the deal because they tell you when you come that if the engine, alternator, or transmission is messed up and you find out within an hour of your bid they will give you your $500 back and let you out of the sale. Well, they're was just so happen a catch to that too, it has to be a car with a bid of $3900 or more. So, the lady that was so nice at first when she was lying to get me in the place totally switched up and was like literally "oh well you're screwed"...The best the claimed to be able to do for me was keeping my NONREFUNDABLE $500 deposit and BARRING ME FROM COMING BACK simply because I didn't want to go through with the BAD/TERRIBLE SALE. Buyers should definitely beware and overall steer clear of this place!! RUNNNNN...

I purchased a vehicle in October for over $3500. Within days I was at the mechanic to fix serious issues. I had all 4 strut assemblies replaced, all new tires balanced and rotated, but yet the car still shakes sooo bad and is scary driving it on the road. The front bumper clearly shows it was an aftermarket bumper. I am at more than $1000.00 worth of repair and I can't even enjoy the car. In 2 weeks I was at the mechanic 3 times. Took the car somewhere to try to sell it, they found out that not only the odometer has been rolled over, but it has been in 5 accidents. I need my money back....This is not right. I hope this helps.

My son was in a car accident hit by 3 semi trucks and his car was totaled. We went to this car auction to try and bid on a car. The car we bid we were told it had passed emission test and appeared to be drivable. Soon as we pulled out the car auction the car stop working. I had to pay $150.00 for the car to be towed to an auto shop. I am a single mother and my son is in college. I used my saving to help him get a car only to end up being cheated out of $4700 which is my savings. The car is trade in value is only 2000.00. To fix the car is over the value of the car. We basically got scammed. I called to speak to the owner and manager to ask for my money back and explained what I posted in this review only getting the run around. be aware ……. I am posting a pictures of his car accident. This what they do sale car which have a old emission test but tell the buyer it is current.

Brittany and Brian are liars. More than 30 days still no title and they won't show proof that they are working on it because they are caught in a lie. They want to blame the title office but cant prove that they even applied. Such a nice business to have such horrible employees misrepresenting the company and providing such poor customer service. Goodluck getting a title. If you did something you say you did why not prove it to your customer. You can't prove it because you are lying about it.

I was given the rules to the auction and reviewed them very well. I found a several cars that I was interested in. I bidded on this one car because based on there light system the auctioneer said the car had green lights across the board. They even showed green light on their light system. Green lights mean Seller declares that the vehicle is mechanically sound and subject to all arbitration policies. Seller represents that there are no major defects in the internal parts of the engine, transmission, and rear end exceeding $500.00 to repair. Prior to bidding on the car my husband and I drove the car around the lot checked the car out as much as we could there. No service lights were on, no major issue that should cost over $500. I won the bid. On the way back to Atlanta with the car only 10 mins from the auction site the service light comes on. The car starts to make a noise and drive funny. The next day I take the car to the dealership and the car needs a whole new transmission...so much for the Greenlight that the car was given. I call and let the auction know and I was pretty much told "O well". The person I spoke to was very insensitive and was like that is the auction business. I understand that you are taking a chance when buying a car at the auction however why even have the rules and a system in place if you know that it is not being followed. That is bad business and appears as if you are just taking peoples money. Be careful.

Dont buy here. They lie lie lie and charge unnecessary fees fees fees. Dont say no one warned y'all! After the fees IT'S NOT WORTH IT! I watched so many customers leave this place feeling BAMBOOZLED after winning their bids only to be told you have to pay $700 more in UNNECESSARY FEES! Just Ask Around!

This place was a lot of fun. This is a combination dealer and public car auction. The restriction on the public is that only dealers can bid on cars that do not pass emissions. The next time I want a used good car for the best price, I will come here. You just can't beat the prices. You have to pay total amount with cash or credit card the same day. The people working there were extremely friendly and helpful.

Love this place! Everyone is so professional. It has an awesome family feel. At small places like this you usually have a favorite person to deal with. Someone efficient, quick and nice. I can’t pick one they are all great. Very professional and not rude like most auctions. Even the owner is very nice! They also have a great selection to chose from!

Great place to find the right car for the right price. Good selection of cars and everyone there, Brian, Lisa and Andrea went above and beyond to help with every step of the process.
