The Muffler shop in Buford a fantastic place to have your car repaired. From the moment you walk in, they diagnose the problem you are having, give you a written estimate and an appointment time. It really is worry free. I have been having all three of my cars serviced there for several years, and would recommend The Muffler Shop to anyone in need of high quality automotive repair work.

They did a muffler delete for me last minute and finished it within an hour. Would recommend to anyone looking for muffler work!

NOT TRUSTWORTHY AND THEY GO BACK ON THEIR WORD! BAIT AND SWITCH Brought my charger up there and they gave a good price to do an exhaust delete. They did a good job and I asked if the price would be the same for my Durango and they said yes. 2 weeks later I took my Durango up there. I confirmed it would be the same price as the charger and they said yes. 4 hrs later I get a call and they explain to me that they gave me the wrong price and it would be $250 more. I explained to them they said it would be the same as I brought the charger up there before. I told them I would just come and pick up the Durango and take it elsewhere. They informed me that the work was already done. That's called BAIT AND SWITCH! They told me they couldn't undue the work. I wouldn't recommend them as they give you a price and then change it after the work is done!

They did a great job of coming up with a very cost-effective solution and using their in-house skills to implement the solution working around our availability to leave in the car. A very very positive experience!

Had a muffler installed on my truck. They did a great job and in record time. The entire team is awesome!

My truck had side exit exhaust. I've been wanting to change it to rear exit. The guys at the muffler shop took time to help me pick out the tips and once they had it on the lift the guys let me go into the bay to show me different fittings to what I wanted. I couldn't have asked for better service. I'll definitely be back and I'd recommend anymore looking for auto/truck repairs to check these guys out they are very helpful. Great quality, and dependable. Brought my Toyota Tundra in there to get the exhaust system reconfigured, after installing long tube headers. Rob laid out the system in a way that made the most sense. His welds were top notch as well. You can tell that he takes pride in his work. Not your average production shop, they are capable of the custom fab work that is harder to find at most places. I did not know that they are a full service shop, not just a muffler place. They also took care of my alignment, and did well at figuring out the adjustable upper control arms. Highly recommend. Rob is a true craftsman.

’ve had positive experiences with Buford Muffler Shop in the past, particularly eight years ago when they did excellent exhaust work on my Toyota Corolla, featured on one of my YouTube channels. The staff is always friendly, which I appreciate. However, my recent visit with my Chevy Silverado 1500 was disappointing. I scheduled an appointment to replace the stock single-in, single-out muffler with a single-in, dual-out muffler and some tubing out behind my wheels, initially quoted at $250, which seemed reasonable. After the original muffler was removed, I was told that additional tubing and labor would increase the cost to about $1,000. That was surprising, since a full cat-back system costs around $600 online. For those considering exhaust work, I was told that this was an miscommunication issue and educated that it’s $75 per circle weld for standard vehicles and $100 per circle weld for diesels, so keep that in mind. I waited for an hour and a half, only to have my old muffler reinstalled and leave without the upgrade. The employee who brought my truck back to me offered to install a single-out muffler and use my existing tubing for $350, but after the time wasted and the unexpected price change, I declined. I hope this was a one-off miscommunication issue, given my positive past experience.

Can't find anything bad to say about this place. Everyone there was very professional and knowledgeable. Went in to get a AWE system put on my Tacoma and they walked me through each step and showed me after it was done and asked if I was happy with the work. They told me it would take about an hour and a half and it only took an hour. Plus it was cheaper than they quoted me. If I need any other work done I will definitely be returning to this shop.

This shop is amazing. Chris got me seen straight away and Rob did amazing work on my Mustang. I built this car from scratch by myself moslty and hardly trust anyone to work on it other than me, but Rob was extraordinarily respectful. He solved a 10 year old problem in less than 30 minutes. I cannot thank these guys enough for their responsive and professional care. People like Rob restore my faith in automotive professionals.

Nathan and his crew were awesome and very helpful. I came in with issues with the car and then those issues weren’t presenting themselves once at the shop. They continued to try and diagnose the issues and eventually got to a solution for us. Chris was great at the front desk and kept good communication with us throughout the process. Highly recommended.

They did an awesome job on my 2015 Camaro SS and my wife’s 2016 Mustang GT exhaust both cars sound great. Will definitely be back because it’s hard to find someone that knows how to do good exhaust work…

this is the most honest repair shop i have ever used. I trust they will repair my cars and not rip me off. I've used them for several cars / tucks over the years. I'm a DIY kind of guy, but some jobs are too much for me . I drive 30 minutes to drop off my cars , passing dozens of other places . Great team of folks here, always more than satisfied .

Chris and the guys at the muffler shop have always been great to deal with. From normal oil changes to motor swaps, they can handle it. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy. All of those are sadly very hard to find in the automotive world these days. They even take care of some work vehicles for us as well. Can’t recommend these guys enough! I was recently in for a thermostat replacement and the final cost came in well under what was originally quoted, which was super nice and almost never happens.

Chris was easy to work with and stood by his word. I had a issue with the exhaust going straight back into my rock tamer mudflaps. He installed a 90 to push the exhaust out the right side to correct the issue and not alter my exhaust performance. I am from out of town and needed a quick repair. He arranged to get me in the next day and quickly alerted me when he needed to slightly reschedule my service that day. Chris can be trusted to treat you right.

I got in right about my appointment time, everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. They put a magnaflow on my Camaro. They asked how I liked the fitment as they went and got it just right. Good attention to detail and wonderful looking welds. I'll e coming back whenever I need exhaust work!

These guys keep me in business! They work me in when they don’t have to and keep my boats safe for passengers. We did a complete rebuild on two 1996 pontoons for our tiki hut water taxis. I brought both of them to these guys to check and weld the toons, sterns, and splashed fins on both boats. Fantastic job and turn around!! Anytime I have an issue now, whether the lake was rough or a Captain hit something, I know I can get good service here! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Boat number three will be here soon!
