THE OPEN HOURS OF SERVICE FOR PUBLIC ARE ERRONEOUS!! ON SATURDAY ONLY OPEN UNTIL 11:00 AM. It’s unfortunate that this is the only place in the Buford area that is available for self junk removal. There is no signage that the location is closed to the public (commercial vehicles can come until 12:00 pm…must NOT be in a car vehicle even if you own a business) until you drive up a long winding road to the gate house. At least they could have some signage down at the entrance and or a gate code that only allows through registered vehicles so a person knows that don’t have to drive way up to the gate house to find out it is closed. The gate employees are the rudest people in customer service as well. I tried to ask respectful questions about their policies and a man told me, “Read the signs.” Upon which I told him, “Learn how to read what you put on Google and learn how to run a business.” This is an awful place to go. SUGGEST AVOIDING AT ALL COSTS!!
A personal car, truck/suv has a flat rate of $95 (Sept 2025). Any trailer or Box truck has a MINIMUM of about $299 (see my posted pic). Rates and hours are there. Note prohibited items--yard compost is prohibited.
Man, the trade tariffs have really taken a toll on the rates at this Republic Services landfill. Every few months it's has increased.
Google is showing times for commercial trucks to dump but residential is not open until after 7 am and closes earlier!

The Buford location might be a bit farther, but it’s much more affordable. To make the most of your trip, fill up your truck bed or trailer to maximize the value. Highly recommend this spot for anyone doing cleanouts or remodels!
WARNING: 2 ton minimum for any type of trailer, uhaul truck, box truck, or dump truck. THIS WILL COST YOU, AT MINIMUM, $279 PLUS $115 PER ADDITIONAL TON. This is an absurd price. I needed to downsize as part of moving to another state. I rented a 12 foot Penske truck to dump about 1 ton of bulky trash. At this rate, you might as well rent a dumpster at home or pay for junk removal.

Absolute trash of a company. It's 6 AM, my crew arrives dump. Not only are they overpriced, but they refuse to take my. Card number over the phone so I can get this done.So now both of my kids are gonna be tardy getting to school on top of that.Worst experience
They now have a minimum of $250 to dump anything. I basically paid more per pound to dump trash than it cost me per pound to buy a steak. I would love for them to make a comment. This is an unethical disgraceful business.
Be aware! I don’t know what to say. They are terrible about their service. They never hold their words. Always missed container pick ups. Don’t even think about to get an account. This container sitting outside 6 days now and always same situation. You need call them, they’ll say how sorry they are and this continue….
Gladly surprised with the good service. Tiffany at the office explained the process with an smile on her face, fantastic service and customer orientation. Super easy to dump your stuff there. A little pricey $80 flat rate for a truck or van regardless of the weight but no complaints…straight forward. Just pay and use the big dumpster located at your left after payment. Thank you Republic Services.
The flat rate for whatever you can fit in the pickup truck is $80.81 as of April 2023. The service offered is straight forward and uncomplicated. But given the insane price increase over the past year, I can't give it more than three stars.
These used to be a decent place to dump as far as price , but a new rule from Jan 2023 that a minimum charge of 2 tons with a charge of $264.53 for less than a ton that we brought! Ridiculous waste management in Lawrenceville charges $109 don’t waste your time coming to this dump. Last time I came I paid $85 and minimum was a ton, so my fault I didn’t research before driving up!
Posted Saturday hours are 6a-12p. We arrived at 11:45a - and were told that they close at 11:30a for all vehicles except the large trucks. The employee working said it wasn't her problem. If you're going to post info on Google - get it right.
My experience has been tolerable until today. There are several missed pickups which are able to be reported on the website, they do appear to offer a very small credit in that situation which occurs several times a quarter. Today however I learned that despite the refuse service including bulk item pick up my address does not qualify. This was not disclosed when I signed on. In fact the site clearly states that it is included. I was told today it doesn't matter what the site says it's not available at my address and they have no answer outside of spending extra money on a service that was supposed to be included. Very poor experience and a serious lack of integrity. The rep today went as far to say if I had asked specifically if bulk service was available at my home the salesperson would have disclosed that it wasn't. Since I didn't specifically ask that the bulk services were part of my service they would not dislose that my address would not receive all of the services shown as included on their website. I simply stated that the site says it is included. I have never had an issue in the past with other companies and since it states it is included in monthly service charge there was no reason for me to call it out until I needed the service.
Mrs. Tiffany was great to work with. Im new to the area and she provided all the details i needed to visit the landfill. Signage was decently detailed. A bit pricey for load. The landfill doesn't have oil disposal so I still need to find a solution for my used motor oil. Hours were displayed on the website but not on the Google maps page - submitted an update
This place is way overpriced, after the hour and a half wait to get across the scales with only five trucks ahead of me. you then have to travel miles back on unmarked roads made of trash that are so rough I had to put it in four-wheel-drive. After you finally figure out the correct road and dump then go back and wait in line at the scales for another hour and a half only three trucks ahead of me this time. $128 later two flat tires in three hours of my day wasted. I would never go back to this dumpsite
Hand drop ends at 3:30pm. $55 to dump my F-150 bed load best price I've found. No one answered the phone gave up drove up. Usually use Wastepro Doraville you just drop on the ground, here there is a bin a bit more work. Overall fine if you have a pickup full of C&D just drop here IDK what all the 2 stars were upset about.
First time here and it was painless. The cashier was nice, clear, and as fast as she can be. No fuss. If google lead you to a wall of trees, don't panic, keep driving. $57 as of 5/22/21 for a truck load without trailer. I seriously don't get the low ratings.
Dont waste your time or money here. Showed up at 3:31pm and they wouldnt let me dump the trash because it was 1 minute late. Be aware, they charge you $100 of you have a trailer. Find another landfill that wont turn you away for being 1 minute past 3:30. Said I wouldnt be back after last time when they made me drive off to the top of the landfill (where the semi’s and dunp trucks go to dump. You will destroy your car or normal truck trying to get back there, and you better have 4wd. Theres a reason why they have all bad reviews. The woman running the scales and collecting the money is about as rude as they come.
Took a overloaded pickup truck full of construction waste to the landfill. $50+tax. No add on fees, no surprises. Lady at the entrance was polite and extremely nice. Will definitely use this place in the future!
I'm a contractor who uses landfills all over the metro area. This place was outstanding. I had a pickup truck full of construction debris and it only cost $52.50. Only had to drive 100 feet past the check in to dump it Was a clean area too (no household garbage) Just throw it over the rail Into dumpsters below and go. So easy!
Over priced and dumping lacation once inside to far away. No one around to direct you. Roads are way to rough compared to others. 90.00 per ton for trailers and larger trucks and 59 flate for pick ups. A fuel recovery fee give me a break. I'll drive farther away next time and its only 5 miles from the house.
Went with a large truck to bring a lot of items from the garage. Approximately 1,900lbs of material. I went early around 9am. The lady at the window was probably was the over night/morning shift worker. VERY VERY NICE!! Kind, excellent fast service. Very awesome. The dumpster area we disposed at was very clean and convieniant. Would go again. Only paid ~$97
First, I'm reviewing as a personal user not a business. They aren't great at answering the phone, they won't let you in after 11:30 on a Saturday (even if it's 11:35). Moreover it's $91.00 to dump a trailer, not $52.00
I would have loved to have known these last two facts b4 I got here, but alas, they wouldn't answer the phone. I recommend a transfer station.
Simple enough. Here's the process for dumping from a pickup truck or a comparably sized trailer... Drive up to weigh station booth, pay flat fee of $52.50 by credit card, turn immediate left into public drop off area, back up to yellow metal guard rail, throw/slide waste over rail into dumpster below, then drive away -- no need to stop at the weigh station booth on the way out. Price seems high, and the booth attendant is not very helpful to newcomers.
Easy access and polite service. I paid a flat $50 fee for a truck load of used carpet, padding, blinds and some wood. No weighing was necessary. Easy process. Bring your credit card.
