If you are looking for a straight shooter; someone you can trust, I would highly recommend Daniel Weaver at W. GA Auto Transmission. Yesterday I called two shops that were recommended to me and had a negative feeling about the first one (her way or no way - no appointment, bring it in and they will "try" to work it in) and then tried some sketchy wording which I did not go for at all. The other shop wasn't interested in my vehicle (2019 Ford Edge). So I prayed about it and called this shop. Spoke directly with Daniel - upfront, easy to talk with, scheduled a time for an diagnostic, price was right, so I took a chance. What a great experience. In short: did what he said he would do, I could stay with him while he test drove my car, sat in the car as he ran the diagnostic, we talked about options to remedy my issues, settled on one and set up an appointment. This is a locally owned business with a good man running it. Try them and be as surprised as I was.

Daniel and the company are the best we have found in West Georgia by far. From the moment I first called for a repair on my girlfriends F-150 (shift cable) Daniel not only listened but communicated extremely well. The repair was completed very quickly and with the best parts. He was able to be under the normal cost and we were completely satisfied with everything. We highly recommend this company to everyone.

I had my wife's honda odyssey touring van towed to this transmission shop and after they diagnosed the issue and told us that we need a transmission replacement Daniel was very informative and if any issues came up he gives us a call and he also made sure everything was in excellent working condition to his satisfaction before calling us to let us pick up the van. I also brought my truck in for a a/c issue which turned out not to be a big problem and got everything back working like it did before the ac stopped working now I have my cold ac back in my truck. My wife and myself are very pleased and we recommend this business.

I spoke with Daniel on the phone on Tuesday to setup an appointment, he was very informative of the services. When arrived on Wednesday the technicians came in and greeted me very friendly and professional atmosphere. The did a diagnostic check on my vehicle and I was informed it was not a transmission issue and I was free to go. I waited for him to ask for the diagnostic fee he said I was free to go, if anyone is looking for a great place with a great attitude stop in and see Daniel

I took my 2015 Pathfinder to the Nissan dealership when the check engine light came on. They said it was a “death code” and I needed a new transmission. My Dad found West GA Auto Transmission online and I took it there for 2nd opinion/estimate. Daniel said nothing was wrong except a hole in the pcv (?) hose, which he replaced for $100. I’m so thankful for his honesty and accuracy! Car drives great again! (Which it never was bad in the first place so the replacement of transmission as dealership suggested was a total shock)

Put a used motor in my 2011 Dodge Ram...runs better than I did when I bout...and this motor has less miles on it too. Thanks Daniel and crew Back on baby!!

Daniel weaver and his team are excellent. Took my 6 speed V6 honda in for a new clutch and could not be happier with the level of service and professionalism. I highly recommend them and i will definitely be using them from now on for all our auto repair needs.

In the days of customer NO-service, it was beyond refreshing to have a repair shop not fabricate needed repairs simply to make some more money. The Chevy dealership I took my truck to originally told me my truck needed a new transmission, which would cost me $11,800 to replace. Had the truck towed to west GA auto and transmission for a second opinion and I was back on the road again after only a couple of days and for less than $500! Highly recommend Daniel and the guys down there at WGAT!

I can't say enough good things about these guys. I found them by accident when I thought the transmission was going out on my son's car. They quickly assessed it, told me it just needed a flush and refill, and sent me on my way. He could have easily told me I needed a new transmission, but he was honest. He now has most of my business! Headed to pick up my other car there now! Great service as always!

We had to get our engine replaced in our 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The dealership wanted more than the vehicle was worth so a friend recommended West Georgia Auto Transmission. We called and talked to Daniel, the owner of this fine establishment, he is very knowledgeable, professional and very reasonably priced. Daniel and his staff still believe in treating people fairly, honestly and with integrity!! They take pride in their work and they stand behind it. I can't say enough good things about Daniel and his team! They made 2 repairs on my 2013 dodge dart I was pleased. I called them a 3rd time because I had a oil leak, they didn't return my phone call after they knew about the oil leak. I guess they were tired of me.All is well

Did a great job on our truck. Was quoted many prices, but those folks didn't sound much like they were gonna fix the problem, just band-aid it for a bit, and for more than was charged here for a complete rebuild with better parts. Thank you guys

Amazing service!!! Great people to deal with!! I was moving from Mississippi to South Carolina and my transmission went out. Had it towed to them on a Sunday and Tuesday they had a great quote and diagnosis. I needed my transmission completely rebuilt. They worked with me on paying them. Bob was very professional and understanding with me about everything!! Picked up my truck and went back to Mississippi then back to South Carolina truck didn’t miss a beat!! Wish they were closer to me I’d use them to maintain my vehicles regularly!!!! For a professional and great experience USE THESE GUYS!!! JOB WELL DONE IN MY BOOK!!

Took my car here and they were super friendly and helpful with the whole thing. They even went above and beyond and welded my exhaust leak. Transmission runs great and Im not saying id want to be a returning customer, lol, but if i ever needed to or recommend anyone itd be here.

I took my Jeep to another place recommended by a friend. They had it for a month didn’t do any work but told me I needed a new transmission and transfer casing and it would cost $6,000. I took to Bob and team they fixed in a week for $2,500. Now I am taking all my work there. Pinking up my fiancées car now it was done in a day. Totally satisfied!!!! 5 star all the way.

I recently used this shop for a transmission rebuild in my Yukon. I could not be happier with the level of service provided by Daniel and Bob. These guys did a Great job and my transmission shifts perfectly! I would recommend this shop to anyone.

All around excellent experience. I brought a transmission in out of the vehicle for them to rebuild and they did it reasonably and in a timely manner. They are very professional, knowledgeable, and care about their work. Their transmission guy took time to explain a few things I needed to know when reinstalling the transmission in my van. Communication was great through the entire process. This shop is highly recommended!!!

Dealer said I needed to replace my transmission and some other parts for $6800. Saw the reviews were good and called for a quote. The quote was about half. Took it over there and they checked it over and couldn't find any issues. They could have charged me $3000 and I'd have thought I got a bargain, but they said everything looked fine, didn't even need a service at this time. They said it might have been a fluke, or an issue with a sensor and if it happens again to bring it in so they can check the codes. I paid the diagnostic fee and drove it home. I'm impressed by their speed and integrity.

This was my first time using this shop and I'll definitely be back. Bob and Daniel are the best. They installed a transmission in my truck and it works great. Prices are great and the customer service is the best I've seen in a long time .

Wonderful place! I’ve have had to call them twice for their service and they were so nice and immediately came to my rescue! Within 20 minutes they picked up my vehicle and within a couple hours called me to update me on the issues. The service was fast. I’m a single woman and they made everything so easy for me and didn’t over charge me. I will not use anyone else.

I got my transmission replaced here about a month and a half to 2 months ago. I can't remember the guys name who did it for me but my car is still doing great, this business is very knowledgeable and they already knew the Nissan CVT transmission for my car needed reprogramming. Fair prices as well. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone!! Thank you!
