The people who work here are always helpful. Copper, aluminum, iron, appliances, etc pay at different rates, and the employees will let you know what items go where to make sure you get the most money for the items you're recycling
First time scrap seller here. Was dreading it, most people are really rude. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Highly recommend going here with your scrap metal.
They take care of my recycling needs, and pay a fair price for recyclable scrap. The folks are helpful and friendly. The place is accessible to virtually all vehicles,
Usually they do good on there prices but today I brought in 600lbs of clean sheet aluminum just to find out they were 10 cents cheaper per pound than all the other scrap yards. I was highly disappointed.
Quite an operation, fast and efficient metal recycling, what more could you ask for. In the few minutes I was there I was greeted by multiple employees who all were cordial and helpful. They even unloaded the trailer for me with their equipment. I have been to recyclers before where it is almost like the customers are a bother I'm not sure what they are doing different here but they have it figured out. Next time I need recycling services, I know where I will go. I wish metal prices were higher but so does everyone else, at least when you're recycling it not when you're buying it...
Recently I've personally had about four to five dealings with SLM Recycling. In each dealing the employees conducted themselves in a professional manner while executing their job quickly and efficiently.
But today, however, SLM showed me what type of company they truly are. I was the last to arrive, it was their quitting time. Yet they stayed past their time to process my load, rather than send me away telling me to come back tomorrow.
I understand this isn't their common practice, but when they can do a little extra to assist a customer, they will.

It's the best scrap yard I've ever been too.the people ate great and they pay top dollar.I really can't think of anything negative to say except they shouI'd stay open 24/7
First time to this scrap yard. I usually go to Haynes. They pay just okay but the owner is HOT.
ANYWAY,. The scrap drop off was annoying. It was So busy it looked like the owner was out helping? He wasn't dressed for the job. Very nice guy he helped me carry my stuff to the small scale. I then waited I. Line for at least 20 minutes Inched Into the yard where a huge magnet scooped it up I. One try. Back out to re weigh, the guys at the small scale were all nice not too strict with what they wont buy All in all,. They pay better tha. Anywhere else I know about. It was a distance I dont usually drive, but will probably start using this scrap yard Instead of Haynes

Every time I've ever went there, the guys under the canopy are all so helpful very nice and polite. They all pitch in to help get you out faster. I've never had to wait for my totals or at the pay window.
This place is awful!!!! DO NOT GO! My boyfriend went there with 260 lbs of copper and was told each pound was worth $2.45 and the lady at the counter gave him $188 thinking he didn’t know anything. she put it in the system and proceeded to tell him she couldn’t change it or give him the money he was suppose to get we he called her out for pretty much stealing the money. he was suppose to recive $637
