Terry came on a Sunday for a tire. The tire was stuck, and he did his best on a very stubborn car. Ended up needing a tow, but he took great care of us.
Currently sitting on the interstate needed a tire change and they cancelled my request. The Dispatcher was extremely rude filed a complaint with Geico so they just lost a lot of business.
Car was stalling, couldn’t get home Called and Paco showed up and hooked my car up to the tow with no problems. 10/10 service definitely would recommend!
If you need service ask for Paco , my car is lowered and he took EXTRA precautions to make sure my car wasn't damaged. Very professional and a great guy woo around

When I called the lady on the phone was so nice and gave me the best price of anyone in Macon !!! She was patient with me & was quick. I needed a tow it took less than 10 mins & Nate came I was even late because I lost my key !! He sat and waited for me. The car got to where it needed to be and Nate seen how they turned me away & told me go somewhere else (yes Chance automotive count your days & never get a car with them) he had no issue bringing it to Hyundai dealership for me.

Terry is a miracle worker!! After having a horrible experience with a prior road side assistance service call where the unprofessional “Roadside Rich” stripped my lug nuts, I had no choice but to call my roadside side assistance back and tell them the flat tire wasn’t changed. The next day, road side assistance sent out Terry from Ackerman towing and he got the job done in less than 10 minutes!! He was so kind and knowledgeable. I know who to request now if I am ever in a bind again. Thanks Terry!!
First interaction: After putting in multiple calls over the weekend, including waiting all night for a tow, no one called or showed up. If you’re going to ground all your drivers over a storm, you could at least contact the people waiting for tows and let them know, so they can pursue other companies.
Second interaction: A friend had an Ackerman driver show up and say it was too muddy, and if we pulled the vehicle 20 feet through a trench, he’d come back. He came back via AAA and still wouldn’t do it. We had another company do it with zero issues. Wasted a lot of time with you. Customer service skills and communications sucks.
did not let us get our sub that we installed our self while not even being professional that were very rude and the lady’s had an attitude from the second we walked in to the door and said her manger wasn’t in such a liar! also damn near picked me up with the crane as i was in the car trying to clean it out quickly they don’t care abt people getting hurt they only want to steal money and use u out of all u can! god forbid
We just had Jason come out to change a tire for us through AAA. He could not have been nicer And got it done in no Time flat. He also walked me through exactly what he was doing, on the off chance I’d ever have to do it on my own. Highly recommend!
The technician shows up without most of the tools to do a lockout on a car. What he did have he scratched my paint in multiple locations, bent the door window frame which caused wind noise in the car while driving and scratched my window tint. Not to mention he could not get it open. Do not call these people.

I was stuck on the side of the road on I75 in an area with terrible cell service. I finally got through to someone who said they’d be there in an hour. It only took about 40 mins. The driver hooked us up in about 5 minutes and unfortunately the place we wanted to go was closed. He was willing to take us to another location not too far and had a great attitude about helping us get somewhere suitable. Punctual with a great personality this was definitely a great experience using this company. No complaints at all!
I had the most horrific night. I burst 2 tires and a Rim. My wallet was stolen. My bank card was locked out and Zach was the most patient professional person I could have ran across . I mean this guy stayed there with me through a very hectic situation until I was okay and Situated

Great company to hire! My vehicle broke down and I had nowhere to go on Easter. They showed up quickly and towed my car in Macon. They were very compassionate. The entire team was helpful. They all went above and beyond!!
On 26 Mar 2024 about 10:00 AM I called Ackerman for assistance. Needed a tow from Hartley Bridge Rd. to the Honda dealership.
On the first ring Ms. Marlene answered and got great service! The driver Mr. Terry (from England, accent and all!) was very polite and professional! The location was very dangerous but he loaded the vehicle with ease and delivered to Walsh Honda within 30 minutes.Ackerman will be the first to get any other call for towing in the future!!
This is a horrible company. They brought my vehicle to my home in the midst of them delivering the vehicle they damaged my fence and instead of the owner Glenn taking accountability of my fence being damaged by one of his workers he got very rude with me and instead of trying to fix it he told me I will have to wait until he was ready to fix it to have it fixed. I received a quote from a reputable fence company and he won’t pay for them to come do the work their is also a report I filed with geico since I got the tow through geico and they would give me a and geico the runaround it’s been a year and all the women in his front office do is say they will put a note on his desk. Which I hope reporting this with geico and the BBB will help me remedy this damage I will have to just take legal action next.
This was a great experience with the tow truck driver, he was very fast and knowledgeable, super nice and since he was from across the pond he had a cool accent, lol. When I called Ackerman the lady who answered helped me accordingly but was very short and to the point, didn’t seem like she was in a good mood or something, but hey it happens to everyone sometimes, she did her job and did it well. The price was a good bit higher than the last company I used for the same exact tow, almost double. I have paid one company 75$ 3 different times for the same tow job and this one cost me 130$ but they were available and my usual tow company wasn’t, so what do you do? But overall a great job and experience with Ackerman. No complaints really.
Extremely helpful, me and 3 of my friends in my puppy were on our way from Missouri to Florida. We were 13 hours in when we broke down in Georgia and the road side assistance and police were no help. Thankfully we got ahold of this miracle of a company and a driver named Adam, and his roommate came to pick us up and tow my car at 2 am in the morning. Wonderful people and literally a miracle that they came and helped us out, especially when no one else did they were here. 100% would recommend to anyone and they got here extremely quick to and you can tell they truly care. Adam called and gave me an approximate ETA which was on point with his actual arrival. He was friendly and performed his job well. He transported me and my vehicle safely to my desired destination. He even went above and beyond to help charge my car's dead battery. I'd definitely use this company again.
I had my doubts at first due to the receptionist attitude but then “The Brit” arrived to tow my car. Great guy with great conversation. He was able to explain and show me everything he was doing and got my car out of a sticky spot. Would highly recommend this company, low tow prices and great drivers.

So one night my wheel literally decide to pop off of my vehicle. I contacted my insurance company and they sent Ackerman to tow my car. As a single female I was worried because my car was parked on the side of a busy road in the middle of the night until my hero came to save the day! The gentleman that towed my car was extremely polite! He placed my wheel into my vehicle then he even pushed my bumper back onto my car. I felt very safe and I was actually very glad to have met him. I would definitely recommend this tow service. -fast, reliable, safe and friendly.

Called for an RV with a broken rear wheel. They arrived promptly and lifted my vehicle to the service place. The driver could not have been more professional. He was great.
