I called radius recycling found out what their prices are I went to the plant and as I was there they told me they would give me a lesser price because the piping was longer than 4 ft I was never told that when I called over the phone they just told me to bring it up there I spoke to the plant manager Mike he began to tell me about their rules and regulations on how they do things I told him I was never told about the pipe has to be a certain length he then started to take up for his employees negligence of not explaining things over the phone I then told him they need to make it a practice if someone says they have copper piping that they need to tell the customer before driving all the way down here if it's a certain length we only pay XYZ pricing if it's over that we pay XYZ pricing he was not trying to listen to my concern and just sticking with their policy and rules and regulations. Great people, I think it's a FCFS from 830-3 with 53' vans.. !!!BEWARE!! Scale is small (all tires may not be on the scale) you can easily be overweight..my first time here I was 76k, though when I got to Dublin papermill I was 81k.
So worker complaining about been there decide he was going to take his frustration out on customers.yEa that type of energy is nOt nEedEd always something with this place paying out less than A ridiculously LoW number from what scrap is paying out in real time. Man trying to offer 74 cent for a old car battery. $22 for a nice big part of aluminum garage 200+ pounds. Not supporting thievery.
I got there and no employee , Greeted me by saying good morning my I help you and when I said something about it, they all made excuses. Not a good experience.
Used to be a good place when it was Macon Iron and Paper Stock. Is not now. They insist on using prepaid debit cards to give you your money. Also, they seem to be collecting information on everyone who comes though. Just seems a little sketchy.
Nothing but a bunch of bums work at this place. and don't care about their customers at all.. no matter how far you driven they will not take your materials not even 30 seconds after 4:30 don't waste your time go somewhere else!
