Dropped a broken dryer off. Place is like hell on earth. Guy at the scales shouldn't expect people to know the process with the scale if they've never been there. He was very rude. In my earlier days I would've checked his poor attitude, but I ve calmed down with idiotic people in my advanced years. Not worth the trouble. Anyway, don't drive on the scale if there's another truck already on it, or Mr Friendly won't be happy.👍

Bunch of workers trys to be a bunch of smart assess only want to pick out what they want and don't want of metal all of the most they're violating OSHA's safety rules none with hard hats vest steel toe shoes or goggles or gloves just doing and wearing as they want to do just wearing and doing what they want to do and wear I think OSHA and bbb needs to shut this place down

Very well organized with large mounds of different metals separated. They have huge machinery for relocating, and breaking down metals into huge blocks, some stuff is broken down further into chunks and grounds. We had taken in a trailer loaded with metal. And at the end, you get cash money.

Bill as always makes sure his yard is well organized, Employees constantly working and organizing metals this place is the best dominion yard to go to! Never taking my equipment to another yard no matter the location

Never been here before. Their business info on Google said "electronics" recycling among other items, when I arrived I was greeted by a very nasty guy who said they don't take tvs there. So I don't know, obviously whoever edits these business entry posts on Google out incorrect info, and they don't bother to make sure it's correct. People don't use phone books anymore, they use Google.

Was quoted prices for non-ferrous metals that were criminally lower that the prices at other scrap yards. Specifically $.15/lb for auto wire harnesses, where other yards pay $1.60-1.96

These people that work here are the rudest most disrespectful I've ever met,their scales are rigged when you tell them they get pissy with you (example; I weighed some copper on a scale I had at the house it gave me a weight of 10lbs (I had taken pic just to prove it to them)needless to say their scales read 4 lbs when I notified them in got yelled at as nd told to go elsewhere then. I went there today and was told that I can't come back there cuz of an issue I had with one of their employees Robert potter the funny part is the issue didn't even happen there I happened in 2021 at 1am as I was walking passed his house he was drunk as hell and attacked me with baseball bat so I can't go there no more not like I care with that being said I would stay away if I were you...go to Florida recycling they treat you good!!!

I went today to sell my copper. They treated me with respect. Can’t complain about it. I got paid fair too

If you prefer to be treated and talked to like your a Second class citizen go to this place. Dude in the lobby yelled at me to take off my hat and sunglasses as soon as I walked in the door asked if I knew how to read. I always take off my sunglasses indoors but to be told to remove my hat and be treated like a scumbag yea that didn't suit well with me. Not worth the trip brought a load of clean metal and all they did was beat me up on everything

Owner is very rude to the customers. I'd rather drive an hour away then give him any junk. Treats the staff like slaves and talks down to them like dirt. Smh. And if you make to much they pay you in a check. The stores down the street won't cash it. Told us the checks from them bounce. I'd give zero stars if I could.

These people are scammers… since when have car engine internals parts have been of tin?? Brought 100 lbs of pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft, and cam. They said it was tin….. either they are high on drugs or they know exactly what they are doing….

Friendly staff, but the pricing is horrible. They will scam you out of your clean copper. They call it clean when your putting it on the scale, but when they hand you the paper work. It's #2, and instead of dirty brass its breakage. Place is a joke. I brought the largest load I've ever had in, and and got paid half the price. Save yourself the time and the headache and go somewhere else where they have knowledgeable staff that's willing to pay you properly for your scrap. Only came here because of Florida recycling stop accepting copper and brass.

Absolutely horrible service. The people who work there are nice but the owner is absolutely awful. Came out yelling at us and his employee while we had our kids with us because he didn't want our "dirty" cans which literally only had leaves on them from sitting under the tree in the bin. I feel bad for his employees because it's obvious from other reviews, and by the way his employee dealt with it, that this is a normal thing.

IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS I WOULD!!! EXTREMELY RUDE!!! Never dealt with more unprofessional people in my life, they obviously hate their jobs. And terrible pricing! Seen better deals on FB market.

These guys are pretty good... They get you in and out without to much hassle. I have gone here several times with my aluminum i have left over from my pool enclosure business. I see allot of people complaining about clean and unclean pricing. If you take it there clean you wont have an issue. You take it there dirty you get the dirty price.. They are a business they arent going to give you more than what you deserve. Best prices.. And will continue to bring my scrap aluminum there.

Best prices consistently! And fair and honest when sorting out my scrap loads. Service is second to none. I’ll never go anywhere else again!

Very dishonest, I'm no scarp expert by any means, but I used to save my cans , and sell them here every few months. But this last time I went in, some new faces helped me, or did the opposite I suppose. After some lecture about several leaves and some rain water on the cans from sitting next to the house, they managed to give me one fifth of what they normally do. Gave them a call to inquire about how to do something I’ve never done before. You know, so I don’t waste their time or mine. The one minute phone call turned out to be a waste of my time. Guy was rude, and when I asked a follow up question he said “I just said that”. I work in customer service, if I ever answered using that line I would be fired on the spot. Especially within the first 30 seconds of the conversation with a customer that was unfamiliar with the process. Not to mention I was being very polite. Anyway, be warned. These people hate their job more than you hate dealing with them. Have fun

Started going here a couple of years back not sure on exact time frame But being new to the scrap metal business I found that all the Employees the young lady at the scales and I do believe Bill the gentleman inside behind the glass especially have been very helpful to me and explained to me what brought better money to me on scrap about what clean and how to clean so I would not loose money also. I also made another good college football friend seems me and the gentleman behind the glass a fans of the same team! See you guys real soon and thanks for your help!

Quick and efficient. Nearly ever staff member is friendly and helpful other than the lady at the scale. They need to put her somewhere else where her interaction with the public is limited. Acts like doing her job is a chore and you should be grateful for her time.

Bill, the manager is very pleasant to work with as with most of the team at Dominion. There is one person that spoils that but overall a good experience. They pay more than other local recyclers. In fact they pay twice as much for steel and tin as my previous choice of local recyclers.

Their customer service is very dry. (Not so nice) but I feel like the more you use their services the nicer they get. They definitely go by the book. Very strict when it come to copper, brass, and aluminium. For get AC unit unless you have a receipt or a letter head stating that it belongs to you.

I’m a project manager for one of the biggest aluminum companies in Florida and we always have tons of aluminum to scrap which means I have a little empirical knowledge on aluminum and it’s alloys I took 1000 pounds of aluminum struded there and not only I saw them pressing a button every time I turn around which deducted 20 pounds of the scale original weight but when I acted inoccent and let the aluminum to finish being unloaded I asked if please all could be lifted and placed back on the scale, one of the foreman’s promptly agree when they lift it of the scale the original weight was exactly 100 pounds over the number they have and when I complained they told me to go somewhere else loaded back up and after unloading 650 pounds of 12 inch by 2 inch pipes (big load) I cut my losses and agree to loose the 100 pounds but I will make sure that the better business bureau check on all of this I’m sorry for the guys that work there some were really nice, like the guy upfront .But the owner is literally a scam artist And a very disrespectful person I don’t know if it’s the owner or someone that identified itself as “the owner “ but he call me Mamés an literarily stole from me

A buddy and I found this place a couple weeks ago. After being scalped by other local scrap yards, it’s nice to see one paying fair prices. The icing on the cake was the service. These guys are polite and respectful, as long as your not a Jacka**, and courteous. Not sure why some reviews say it’s confusing. It’s pretty strait forward when you pull around to the scales. Cudos to Bill in the office. Great experience here and we will both be using your facilities from now on. Thanks again.

Called in to ask about prices for ballast, cooper and aluminum( typical question for anyone bringing in a ballast) whoever answered the phone informed me, after answering how much ballast and copper scrapped for, he could not go down the list to answer how much is for aluminum because he had customers. How DUMB do you have to be to tell a POTENTIAL CUSTOMER you cant help them....because you have customers. Horrible service off the jump. Couldn't even answer my last question for aluminum. After checking other reviews, seems as if customer service is a big a problem.
