They went above and beyond find my part for me. The part I was needing was hard to find and they located several with no profit to them. It's hard to find people like that nowadays. That being said I'm going to always check with them first
I’m not sure why this place shows 4.6 stars. It doesn’t doesn’t deserve not even 1. These people made us drive over 2 hours to then tell us they did not have the car shown in pictures nor the color. The doors we needed were not the doors showing in pictures they furnished or what was spoken About several times over the phone. And we were not the only ones complaining about this issue. They apparently tell you that they have exactly what you’re looking for and then it’s not the color or the correct part. This place is a scam and makes you waste your time trying to convince you to purchase what they have.
Travis was very helpful, walked me right to the vehicle I was looking for. His service was great I would recommend him to anyone going to Sanford auto salvage.
I recommend you all go to Sanford auto salvage for all your vehicle needs. Travis was a great help for me I was involved in a hit and run and was going out of my mind how I was gonna fix my car without help from my insurance and he helped me find the right doors for my vehicle huge life savor ! Thank you Travis!
They sold me the wrong engine and won't give my money back so the stolen $650 from me and then kicked me off there properly so beware of there shady business tactics
I had a fantastic experience at Sanford Auto Salvage. From the moment I called, the customer service was top-notch. The staff was incredibly helpful, answered all my questions, and made sure I found exactly what I needed. Once I arrived, they were quick to assist and got me taken care of right away — no long waits or confusion. It’s clear they know their inventory well, and they truly care about helping their customers. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend them to anyone needing parts or salvage services. Great place, great people!
Recently purchased 2 rear doors for a Ford e150 from here , they quoted me lower than any where else nearby by $20 a door.Paid on Monday ,had the doors the very next day.And one of the guys ,Mike even switched the window out free of charge ,highly recommend
Got an alternator from here. They pulled it. $30 out the door. The electrical clip on it ended up being broken but i was able to connect the alternator to the car and the clip hasn’t fallen out yet.
Ken and The New Yard Tech from New Jersey were awesome and very helpful. Treat customers good and polite and knowledgeable. Thanks for helping me get the parts to fix my 85 year old Aunts car

waste of time spent 2 hours being told a airbag was getting taken out of there salvage car and come to find out they didn't even try and don't even have the tools to remove a airbag from said vehicle would never come to a place of business like this again they prioritize people who call ahead of time to pick parts up same day or next day instead of working on the parts the people who have been waiting multiple hours at there lot for. after that they said they would be able to get the part pulled for me next day but i would need to pay before they pull the part and no discount when i was sitting at there lot for over 2 hours with other people waiting and being told there parts are being pulled but never were pulled
I am very impressed with these guys. I needed a specific "red dot" sway bar only found on a specific trim of RX-8. I found this junkyard through car-part where they had an affordable price. They are quick to answer. While they are pretty busy, they did pickup. Anyways, I made the 2.5 hour journey to see the RX8 and chance that it was what I needed. Turns out it was but it was buried behind several cars
These guys used a forklift and moved several cars to lift the RX-8 and retrieve the sway bar... in under 30 minutes! I have no idea how these guys do it.. but I am impressed. The whole process was pretty seamless from check in to check out(less then an hour) and I was able to inspect the part on the car before buying. I would recommend them.
I visited Sanford Auto Salvage today to pick up parts for my 2014 Jeep Cherokee, and I have to say, my experience exceeded my expectations. Let me break it down so that anyone who’s considering this place knows exactly what to expect.Customer Service:I called a couple of days ago to inquire about parts, and the person I spoke to confirmed they had the specific vehicle I needed. They were upfront about the fact that this isn't a "you pick" junkyard. That was fine with me, but what impressed me was that the gentleman offered to help further by allowing me to text him pictures of the parts I needed. Now, I’m no mechanic—far from it—so I wasn’t even sure of the exact names of the parts, but he didn’t mind. He guided me through the process, which was a huge relief. This level of service right from the start made me feel confident that I was dealing with a professional, customer-focused business.In-Person Visit:Fast forward to today, a Saturday. I called in the morning to confirm, and he told me to come on by. When I arrived, the place was busy, and understandably so, since it’s a weekend and not all the staff work on Saturdays. Despite that, the guy at the front desk was super gracious and didn’t make me feel like I was being rushed, even though he had a lot on his plate. I really appreciated that. He even had someone walk back with me to help locate the parts.A Word to the Wise:Here’s where I want to give future customers a heads-up. If you're going to be walking back into the lot (and depending on what part you need, you might), come prepared. It’s Florida, and we’ve had rain nearly every day for the past week, so the ground was muddy. If you’re like me and not expecting this, you’ll want to wear heavy-duty shoes or boots, plus pants and a long-sleeved shirt. Trust me, the mosquitoes back there are no joke—they had a field day on me! I’m pretty sure they ate more than their weight in my blood. So, be ready for that if you’re heading back there in this kind of weather. A little preparation can save you a lot of discomfort. The Parts and Prices:As for the parts themselves, the prices were more than fair. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable everything was, especially considering the current market for used auto parts. I found what I needed, and the parts were in great condition. It’s clear that Sanford Auto Salvage takes care to ensure they’re offering quality items, not just random junk.Final Thoughts:All in all, Sanford Auto Salvage provided a fantastic experience. The staff was helpful, the service was personal, and the prices were very reasonable. Yes, there are a few challenges, like navigating a muddy lot and battling mosquitoes, but those are things you can prepare for. If you need affordable, quality used parts for your vehicle, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a business that clearly values its customers and provides solid, straightforward service. Just remember to pack your bug spray and boots!

I had a fantastic experience at Sanford Auto Salvage! Abed went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. From the moment I walked in, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping me find what I needed.
The selection of parts was impressive, and Abed took the time to ensure I found exactly what I was looking for. He answered all my questions with patience and was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process.
If you’re in need of auto parts or services, I highly recommend visiting Sanford Auto Salvage. Thanks again, Abed, for making my visit so enjoyable!
The first time is ok, the second time is a coincidence, the third time is too much.
I arrived at 10 o'clock and it's already half past twelve and I'm still waiting for the part. It's only one tail light.
On the phone all sounded GOOD, but I won't believe it again. Don't forget that Ken is a junk salesman, so if he says something that sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't true. I am giving 5 stars because Chris and the older gentleman were very accommodating to my needs.
