First time at Gulf Breeze Automotive and I’m beyond impressed. I went in convinced I needed new brakes, but they took a look and told me everything was fine — no work needed. They were honest, efficient, and didn’t charge me anything. They absolutely could have upsold me, but they chose integrity instead. That earns my trust completely. I’ll be back and will recommend them to everyone!

If you can imagine, I had one car in the shop when my other car went down! But thank God we were in such good hands. They helped us prioritize our repairs. Even instructed us on which car could wait, and which car was not safe to drive. I cannot recommend GB Automotive enough.

I am a shade tree mechanic but the older I get the less I know about these newer vehicles. I was starting to get some 'tapping' noise under a cold start load and quickly realized this was outside my scope of work. I stopped by and asked for a diagnosis. Mr. Tim said he would give me call as soon as the mechanic could make his evaluation. The call came in with a Variable Valve Timing sprocket going bad. For reading expediency, they had to change out all of the parts from the camshaft gears down to the water pump. Mr. Tim kept me well informed about where we were in the process. The thing that I really appreciate is the attention to detail the mechanic took to ensure the parts that he was putting in were functional! These guys are not the parts manufacturer, they are the installer. So when Mr. Tim called and said that the Variable Timing Gear on the Camshaft they received was bad I was shocked but very appreciative that they had taken the time to identify that and order a new one. Then the 2nd Cam Shaft Gear came in. Again, Mr. Tim called and said that this solid metal gear appeared to have been dropped and some of the teeth were 'dinged' to the point that they did not feel comfortable installing it. Long story short, even though these bad parts that were delivered caused a delay in repairing my car, I greatly appreciated them being consciencence enough about their work to not do a so-so repair that isn't perfect! I find it hard these days to find technicians that care about their quality of work as much as I care about a job well done! I would highly recommend Gulf Breeze Automotive for your vehicles needs. Great service. It's rare to find hospitality in the auto repair industry but they really make you feel like your not just another invoice. To top it off the work is good and the prices are good too.

This was my third visit to Gulf Breeze Automotive. I can’t say enough great things about this place from their people, service and process! The waiting room is very comfortable - not that you ever have to wait long if you schedule an appointment. They will always be my “go to” service center.

I own a large aircraft maintenance shop and when I saw how organized and clean this shop was, I knew they took pride in their work. Their customer service was equal to the shop-excellent in every respect. They provided me a ride home and picked me up when car was ready. Doesn’t get much better than this. First class all around and nice folks. I’d buy this shop.

My car stopped in traffic and while I was troubleshooting an employee from Gulf Breeze Automotive pulled over to help me out. After we got my car up and running and out of the road, I stopped into the shop to get it checked out. They tested my battery and let me know it should still be under warranty but they were happy to assist. I decided to take my car to the dealer but the staff at Gulf Breeze Automotive were so nice and really went above and beyond. I genuinely appreciate their willingness to help me out in a situation where others might have tried to rip me off. Truly a professional and community oriented business!

I have been using Gulf Breeze auto for a couple of years. They have always been straight forward and courteous with me. They have always done a thorough job and on time. Glad to know they are just a call away.

These people are the best. I have had so many bad experiences trying to find a good, reliable, trustworthy shop in Pensacola, and now I will be driving across the bridge for the foreseeable future. Good at their jobs, communicative, flexible, and friendly. Not just one employee, but every person I've talked to. So happy to have found my shop.

Throughout the repairs l was updated and l really liked the walking through of priority fixes. For me using their pickup and delivery was the final decision as it helped me so much and l didn't need neighbors driving me. Tim was so good to work with. Happy to find a reputable kind automotive business to now call home.

Just wanted to edit this review and lower it down from 5 Stars to 3 as I think that’s fair after my last visit. I took my Camaro in for a simple oil change which went without a hitch until they said I needed a new battery at just over $400 and than my upper oil pan is leaking and it would cost $3800 to repair. The mechanic said oil was running back along the transmission. I explained how the have no oil anywhere at home or anywhere else my car has been parked over night. With that I got a second opinion, the “leak” from the oil pan was spillage from replacing the filter the guy did himself and had no leaks at all. Also Autozone installed a battery for me for $239 out of the door. So while they wanted me to spend over $4k all I actually needed was a $239 battery. They did message like they do after service to see if I was happy with the service provided to which I replied with the information above and never heard a thing back from them. It’s a shame as they have a great reputation and wanted them to be my go to for my cars, sadly the trust has wavered a little and after reading some of the reviews on here it seems this type of thing has happened a few times. I still stand by the fact the staff are super friendly, the place is extremely clean and it’s a welcoming place, this all could have just been an oversight by the mechanic working on my vehicle but the fact AJ reached out after to see if I was happy and didn’t reply to what I explained leaves me disappointed ———————————- Review for my first visit: Excellent service. Took my Camaro to see how much it would cost for new brake pads, 90 minutes later I have new pads all round and an oil change. I was really surprised they were able to get it done immediately, it’s an extremely busy shop, one of the busiest I’ve been to. Good prices, great staff, super clean waiting area. Just a good honest shop to take your car. This was my first time here but I’ll be sure to make this my home for all servicing needs on my Camaro

We had problems starting the car and had “that feeling” that something major was most likely affecting it. Gulf Breeze Automotive was first on our list to diagnose and fix the issue. They’re meticulous in finding out what’s wrong and getting the repair done right the first time. Turned out to be a fuel pump and a difficult one to get to and replace. They took the time to do the extensive repair and kept us updated with all that was being done from start to finish. Our car starts and runs beyond fantastic now. Would highly recommend them for car maintenance or repair work. They do a great job!

Had my Fiat 500C towed here. Great communication and friendly people. My convertible was back on the road fast and for less $ than a thought! This place will be my first choice the next time I need help.

I took my 2019 Chevy 2500 to Gulf Breeze automotive for some electrical repairs/gremlins. I tried myself to fix it, and narrowed it down to a BCM issue. Which i don't have the computers or the know-how to fix. When I brought it to GBA after some time with it, they also narrowed it down to that as well. They did a great job fixing it, and kept me informed throughout the process. Never moving forward with repairs without my okay. They also found a burnt up ground under the dash near a fuse panel. They did me a solid and didnt charge me labor for fixing that. Just the parts. They also let me use one of their courtesy loaner cars which was a great help. I've always struggled with taking my vehicles to shops as I've been victim to some shady work, and I've known several others to also have fell victim to it as well. Ive always been a firm believer that if I can fix it, i'll do it myself. But I can say with full confidence now that I wouldn't hesitate to bring any of my vehicles to them for when it's something that is over my head or I just don't feel like messing with. I also wouldn't hesitate recommending my family, and friends to them for that matter. For being such a busy shop I think their pricing is fair. (The best will never be cheapest.) Everyone was super nice, and it was a clean place. No complaints from me! 5 stars. Thank yall again.

My transmission went out and gulf breeze automotive was able to get her up and running in a timely manner. I was able to use one of their loaner cars while mine was being worked on. Everyone there was super friendly and kept me updated on everything. I would definitely recommend you this shop and if I have any other issues in the future this is the shop I’m choosing.

I brought my car in yesterday for an appointment today. Told them I just need my brake pads changed and to check the rotors, that my brakes are squeaking. They called me and told me I need more work done than just brake pads and that it’ll be $900+ to replace a hose. Mind you, I spent $6,500 in May getting repairs done at this shop. (And my car is not old, It’s a 2020 with 70,000 miles) I told them I cannot afford another $950 right now and that I’ll just have to pick up my car. They did not change my break pads. And when I picked up my car, the customer service I experienced was extremely rude. She asked for my name without looking at me, I told her my name and she walked away without saying anything. I realized she was driving my car around front. When she got to the front with my car she slammed on the brakes then walked in and walked right past me without saying a word and started helping someone else. Just want to warn people, I’ve heard good things about this place but they did not live up to what I’ve heard about them.

I took my Ford Maverick into World of Ford for a few recalls last week. NOTTA thing wrong with it and running like a champ. The next day after getting the truck back it started throwing codes, shutting off twice, jumped twice , would not start, TOTAL LOSS OF POWER! Howww convenient! Took my truck to Gulf Breeze Automotives immediately since they were near my home. MOST RIGHTEOUS decision I ever made! Andrew checked the systems and ended up replacing the battery. No more issues, trucks back in the game and I am telling all my friends and family where they should go to get it done right the first time. Thank you, thank you Heather ( Service Manager ) and Andrew for the excellent customer service and assistance. No more Dealerships in this trucks future. Recall or not!!

Returning customer here- went in to see about my check engine light, the crew got the issue taken care of within my time frame. The part that needed replaced was obsolete so the mechanic was able to rebuild it for me and my truck has been running good since ? It's feeling more responsive now and has gotten me out of town and back safely

Great customer service dealing with a difficult repair on an older VW. They were not able to complete the repair due to VW’s proprietary system for coding keys. However, the communication and customer service throughout the process was excellent. I would use them again.

I had a great experience at Gulf Breeze Automotive. They listened to me, dug into the issues I was having and worked with me on solutions. Very friendly and accommodating. I am definitely going back in the near future to get work done on my other vehicle. Highly recommend them.

Experiencing a “chirping sound “ in my 2010 Tacoma 4x4 truck and thought it was a pulley or belt . I was able to get an immediate appointment and it turned out to be a rear axle universal joint . They replaced the joint looked over the truck and changed a fair price. The truck was out the next day. What I particularly liked were the people it was not only the fast friendly professional service that you expect but more. When you ask a garage to look over your truck they always seem to find a little something that may need to be fixed that cost you money. This garage did not do that. They went over all the main components and said everything looked fine. I felt they were honest , friendly and I will be back if I need anything on any of my vehicles.

I had a pleasant experience at Gulf Breeze Automotive. I needed an oil change, but didn't have an appointment. Heather so graciously fit me in and kept me abreast of my wait time. All staff members that I encountered were very friendly. I will definitely go back.

They are always so friendly and always accommodate me within reason when they can. They are quick and efficient, from the ladies at the front desk to the mechanics in the back. I've spoken to several face to face and they all have incredible customer service skills and patience. Thank you to the whole team! Without all of you the place wouldn't run as smooth as it does! I really appreciate how my mechanics do what i need but also let me know what will be coming up to get done so that I'm not hit last minute with an unexpected expense. They aren't pushy but they are honest and it definitely keeps me coming back when i am in town. I do not live locally but i always use them when i am in Navarre.

I've been using Turn Key/Gulf Breeze Automotive to get our oil changed for a couple of years. We don't live here full-time yet, so it's great to have a good and honest automotive business I can trust away from our home. In December I brought out 2015 Dodge Ram in for an oil change. Brittney was extremely nice in getting me in promptly for my appointment. Michael was my mechanic, and was very conscientious in performing the oil change, and doing a safety check on my Dodge Ram. Michael did find a leak in my radiator during his safety check. Although nobody wants to hear they need a new radiator, especially at Christmas time, I was grateful he discovered the leak before we drove home to Alabama, and damaged our engine. I asked Michael if that could be the noise I had been hearing, and he said he'd drive my truck and see what he hears. Come to find out, the noise I was hearing was the wheel bearings and not the radiator. Again, timing wasn't the best, but it never is. I was grateful Michael found this issue and fixed it, along with the radiator. AJ, the manager, along with Heather, service writer, were both instrumental in pricing both jobs out with a helpful discount to me. Every little bit certainly helped and was appreciated, again being this was a week before Christmas. Michael also said he could not rotate my tires due to the rear tires having low tread on them. We knew we were going to need a set of tires soon, but was going to wait until January. Given the fact that Gulf Breeze Automotive was honest and safety conscientious, I decided to go ahead and have them replace our tires, too. AJ was gracious enough to price match a set (same as what was on our Drodge Ram), so that was another reason to have them do the job with the other two repairs at the same time. Michael was able to complete all the work in under two days, and get my truck back to me in a timely fashion. Austin was kind enough to shuttle me home and back to pick up my truck, which saved me an Uber ride, and was very much appreciated. In conclusion, Gulf Breeze Automotive is an honest, safety conscious, friendly, and competent repair shop in the Panhandle area. I highly recommend Gulf Breeze Automotive for all of your vehicle repair and maintenance needs. I'm thankful to have found them, especially when we are here only part-time; it's important to have a shop I can trust with my vehicles.
