They are very helpful , battery prices are insane though

Went to advance straight after work just trying to get oil change supplies as I’m standing in line. One of the employees an overweight Caucasian man behind the counter and another older Caucasian man are screaming about a wanting a slave to do their car work so they don’t have to, as I a clearly a mixed race woman stand behind them, then the man behind the counter proceeds to talk to the other older Caucasian man for 10 minutes without acknowledging me without ringing out my supplies so I can simply leave. They just talk about wanting slaves. It’s crazy in 2025 people are still so racist but needless to say I just took my business to the AutoZone where they were very friendly and everything worked out. So that’s where I suggest anybody who just wants friendly and fast service go there..Edit tried calling the manager to talk about the issue and was told I was a trouble maker and basically was lying even though the interaction basically went..Employee: you do all the work yourself on your truck Customer: yea I need a slave Employee: laughs you need a slave yea I need a slave I need a slave loudly, proceeds to laugh.. so I don’t really know how this can be misconstrued as anything other than racism but I was basically told I was a liar and was making something out of nothing so thanks advance for your awesome employees

Went in to get head light for my mom and she didn't know if she had a 1500 or not meanwhile the truck was in the parking lot so Allen proceeds to talk to me rudely so at that point I decided that autozone may be a nicer place and guess what? it was!!! I was treated like a customer there so I purchased my head light there. He definitely shouldn't be in a customer service job. Then the guy at autozone tells me they get customers all the time from down there because of how rude they are. I won't spend another dime there and I'm calling corporate. Allen you definitely weren't raised right the way you talk to women and your elders!

Purchased oil from this location, changed oil in my truck, brought oil back to dispose Luis the store manger informed me I could only dispose 2gals which is new to me, he gave me the sheet and there was multiple ppl who have disposed up to 20 gals??!!! When I asked him if he new if autozone takes oil, he was in his phone and told me go ask them ins very rude manner, he’s was impatient and unprofessional I work for advance auto parts for 8 years as a commercial parts pro! This is unacceptable!

Service was great for getting the light for my car that I needed. Went in told them make/model/year grabbed necessary bulbs, got 2 together as to replace one (that way both lights of a recently purchased used car can stay in order together). Other than pricing bring MAYBE slightly higher than other places, won't doubt quality is a standard, as always for most places.

I came in as I had a flat tire at the gas station and their air compressor was not functioning. One Of the employees was nice enough to loan me a small car plug-in compressor and I got my tire inflated after letting him hold onto my drivers license while I did it, I returned it and got my license back and then went on to purchase a pump similar to the one that I got to borrow. When they rang me up for that tire inflator it came out about $15 more expensive than advertised. I asked why. And the employee took off an extended warranty. My issue is is I wasn’t Offered an extended warranty it was just placed on my bill and when I noticed then it was taken off and once he took it off, then he again offered that same warranty to me. It felt like An attempt at selling me a warranty without me, knowing. When doing business any kind of business That’s not the way you do it that felt really sneaky. So for the man that let me borrow the air compressor thank you so much. You got me off the side of the road. For the man that rang me up for the one I bought. I’m watching you! 🧐

Night time workers seem to be lazy and rude. It seems to be a burden to do their job. I have to avoid this store and deal with the Palatka location from now on!

They generally have what I need. I try and speak to Jeremy when I need advice or help. He's the most knowledgeable guy there.

Casey saw me at the gas station trying to get air in my tire and came over to tell me they had free air, AND put air in my tire and showed me a few things about my car i didn’t know! Awesome service!

Awesome rite part 1 time just left corkey bell realizing lite out went to advance auto East Palatka wouldn't ya know Palatka pd on the ball coming down bridge was spotted with light out showed officer the revolt and new bulb told him It was100.00 to have installed. But my family helped me install it in. 1. Hoour not bad for never doing one on new style Lincoln towncar thanks to all at advance for their help and Palatka p d for not giving me a ticket

This auto parts location has friendly and helpful staff. They are always willing to help direct me to what I am looking for. Most of the time I make a beeline straight to the item. Lines are rarely ever long, and if there is a person or two in front, another staff member usually jumps in to help process everyone out the door. Fair prices on items, and they offer a program to reduce gas prices with purchases.

Came in to Advance Auto in east palatka because I needed help with oil, Jeremy was very helpful :-) I also got help with his co-worker showing me how to check if my vehicle is in need of oil…. Completely forgot to ask for his name but everyone was very helpful! Thank you so much

I was introduced to Jeremy and boy was I impressed.. I gave him some really tough ones and he came through on everything even if he had to order it it was there the next day. I highly recommend asking for Jeremy when visiting this advance Auto parts store. He's amazing!!

Randy was so helpful in directing me how to take my brake light out because it was stuck and let met borrow the socket wrench and extension to make it easy. Thank you Randy.

Went in to do a simple refund. Key word simple. Yet no one in the store could figure it out. Then got an attitude with me. Mind you I’d already given them my number several times they kept repeating it while typing it in and it was wrong every time he said it back to me. I will honestly say Jeremy wasn’t there because at this point I think he is the only one that knows what he’s doing there. They said they could put it on my card. I asked do you know which one it was on. I have a few cards I use to buy parts. Basically they said they couldn’t figure out what card I used. Then continued the attitude. Yea I used a few choice words after the attitude and incompetence. On a good note though the palatka advance took good care of me and refunded my money with no issues or attitude. Ps I buy plenty of parts and this is like the first time I’ve had to do a refund. One employee that originally took care of me at the east palatka advance for a fact needs training he constantly had to ask for help. Ok for a fact he’s been there a while. Again I go there a lot. The other employee was on his cell phone and the work phone so he was acting like he was being bugged. He’s the one that gave me the attitude. Jeremy I want you to know you deserve a raise this place would probably lose a lot if you weren’t there. Your the only one I know that knows how to do their job and don’t give attitude. Big respect for Jeremy at east palatka he’s the only reason you get one star. Plus have to do one star so I figured he’s the only reason. Also palatka I want to thank the palatka advance I’ll be bringing all my business to you and will refer anyone to the palatka business. Unless Jeremy in in east palatka on clock no reason to go there for knowledge or just common courtesy. Ps palatka office did the return quickly properly and with respect.

They were kind courteous and resourceful if your there soon enough they can order your part when it's not in stock there and actually get it in the same day just marvelous

This place is my GO TO AUTO PART STORE. It's right up the road from my home and the staff is VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. I recommend if u go into this store, ASK For Either, WAYNE OR JERMERY. They Each HAVE Helped Me, they have shown me stuff that I didn't know about when it comes to my car. I also will say Justin is not to bad of someone to help u out with whatever brings you to Advance. I DO Recommended This Store And It's STAFF For ALL OF Your Vehicle Needs!!!

While some of the crew is very knowledgeable and friendly ,they seem to lack organization and need to spend a little less time on their personal phones and more time making sure store is presentable and well stocked

My alternator died leaving me stuck on the road at the 207 turn. Called advance at that intersection for some possible assistance and they sent this man that pushed me to their store. I truly appreciate that.

I ordered a part thru the online shopping and I was very pleased. I was able to drive to the store and I walked in and the part was ready for me to pick-up. I had paid online when I purchased the part about 30 minutes prior to going to the store. There was no waiting in line as I just picked it up and left. It was a great experience overall.

Use promo codes and shop online. I save up to 30% that way. This store is close to my house and the employees are friendly and helpful. I do all of my auto parts shopping online for the discount, then it's a quick trip to their store to pick up the items. Their online inventory has always been accurate for me and sometimes I buy their other store about 10 miles away. If the online store inventory doesn't show what I need, I always check nearby stores' inventory online as well. It saves a lot of questions and driving miles when you can go directly to the store for the item you need in stock..

The only thing I can say is that coop deserved either a raise and/or a promotion. Please give him one or both. He is the most helpful person I've ever met.

Waited thirty minutes in line with one very overpriced quart of oil while cashiers chit chatted like they were in a beauty salon, when it was finally my turn the cashier waved me off because he had clocked out. I sat the oil one the counter and walked out.

Brendan at the counter could not have been more helpful, informative and friendly. We arrived there frustrated on a Sun eve with a mechanical issue. He helped us figure out what we needed within minutes. Thank you Brendan!

Super nice people work here. When you walk in, they welcome you to the store and ask if they can help. Super great supply of auto parts also tools, oils, and the like. They will even walk outside and check your battery if need be. They also know quit a bit about cars, don't be afraid to ask them questions. Plenty of parking. Prices are comparable with the other auto part stores.
