Guy in the office had a nasty attitude about him. I minded my Ps and Qs and didn't say anything back. On top of that he told me I made one price then turned around and cut it in half. Which to me seemed mighty fishy especially when he had an attitude. I will never return to this place. Do yourself a favor and find a better scrap yard. Also I would not suggest taking in a truck and trailer. Their scale system sucks
Couldn’t have been more rude. Immediately hate you for being there and not being able to read their minds or automatically know how they operate. It’s a complete mess even for a scrap yard. Pretended to check and weigh only a portion of things. Took my license and didn’t even put it in the system. Shady and awful experience.
I came here for the first time, and Will definitely come back for now on. Great prices, but most Importantly, A Great Person that Owns and Operates the Business. 🤗🤗

These guys as Crooks, dishonest scams; I should've left when I pulled in and saw the endless piles of clutter and junk. Everyone that worked there looked like they hadn't had a bath in a week. Anyway,this is how they rip you off. They say they'll weigh your load by unloading it onto a steel plate, then weighing the plate on the front loader. I had approximately one thousand pounds of steel, they said I only had 400 lbs. i had no way of proving it. When i disputed it they said I could load my steel back up. Stay away, don't fall for for their scheme. Other honest recylers pay more and you can see the scale.
The worst experience at a scrap yard. I don’t take a scrap often. However, after the 35 minute wait because I was a new customer and his regulars came in after I did I became a second class customer. Will make the drive to Saint Augustine or Jacksonville next time.
Brought in a king canopy portable carport frame for a RV made of powder coated steel and the employees try saying that its tin! What a joke of a business with unprofessional employees. Scammers stay away!

I really wish I could give a zero to this place. We have gone twice to haul off thousands of pounds of metal and the price is fair. The wait is long and business is business but when we went this past time, things were so awful. First off John (I'm assuming it was John because he told my husband to give the money to his wife and a sign does say "John says to give the money to your wife") caught me dozing in the truck while two of my boys and I were waiting for them to unload the metal.
"John" noticed that one of my sons is blonde with blue eyes. I kid you not, he told me that he would pay for the first 6 months of diapers if we had more blonde haired blue eyed kids so "the mexicans didnt get ahead". He was dead serious. He used the N word very frequently and wanted us to have more "german looking kids" to "keep the german line going". I will not be going back here and neither will the other thousands of pounds of metal we will eventually come across.

Went over here the other day and checked to see how much they pay for scrap metal. Was not as much as I thought it would be also checked on the sale of aluminium cans. The other place in town, offered twice as much for the aluminium cans. Also it had just rained and the entire area was covered with water. I would have been scared to drive in with a trailer full of scrap metal.
