Best place to go to scrap anything! The employee that is handling customers is the friendliest and genuinely fantastic person I have the ever dealt with. ? I wouldn't even think ? of going anywhere else even if they paid more, because she is worth it for the service!!
I quit taking my aluminum and stainless there because the employees who call what they unloaded to the front don't know what they are doing. I now take mine to American allied recycling in Haines City, since then, I have noticed that I make twice as much money there because they separate everything and pay you top dollar for your loads.
Great place with a great staff. Get you in and out quickly and always with a smile. The girls at the scale always are a joy to be around. I strongly encourage you to go and give them a try. Fair prices too!!
The two women that run the front. They were absolutely rude. There women with the black hair would make rude slick comments and then smile and giggle trying to make what she said wasn't so bad. And then the other women with blondeish brown hair was just as rude but didn't smile. The first few times I went I tried brushing it off. But today me and my husband went and we both felt the same way. They made us feel so worth less and small. I'm trying to find a corporate number or email. So I can contact someone higher up. Because this situation needs to be addressed
Wasn't a bad experience. But not wholey a remarkable time. I was helped to unload but as soon as a line got behind me they was rushing me thru so I missed some stray pieces of various metals, oh well, headstart on the next trip I guess.
I've been a regular here for years. A well run company. They pay a little less than others in Lakeland, but not bad. That is until today. I had 700 lbs of clean aluminum. Statewide average was .43 per lb, company in lakeland was paying .38per lb. But they paid .25 per lb. When I questioned it she said sorry and that she would let mgmt know. I lost around $100. Its on me I should've asked prices 1st. It's their loss I won't be going there again. I'll pay an extra few dollars and go to Lakeland.
A Clean organized experienced educated professional visit every time! Help unloading every time by hand or machine! They will answer all your questions because they play by the rules too. Accurate main scale and you can see the weights of your fine metals as they weigh them out in front of you. Detailed receipt paid by cash. You will get a check if you have copper on a local bank that's right down the street and they don't charge you to cash their check and you can use the drive-thru! They do pay a little less but if you figure your time and gas to go to Lakeland for a mixed load it usually comes out pretty close to the same. You got to be there 15 minutes before they close or you won't get in! Been going there for 20 years couple times a week and I still gave them 5 stars!
Do not come here unless you know what you're doing. They may be friendly over the phone but if you're an average less than $100 a day person they will try you on everything.
